Things have really gotten better around here. They've added Fired Pie, which I feel attracts more people this way and adds somewhere to eat. They've added more stores. It's a great place to walk around. People are right, even though they are called outlets, there are no real deals around here. I've just stopped thinking of them as outlets and think of them as stores in a regular mall and now it's just another place to shop that's closer to home. The only thing that I wish they had thought out better is the parking situation. It's not so much trouble with the parking spaces, but issues with traffic when you are leaving. There are not enough exits and it creates more traffic. read more

I love the Tanger Outlets! I can find anything I would find in a shopping mall for less money. The outlets are very clean and well kept, even the restrooms are impressive. All of the sales people I've encountered have been very helpful and pleasant. There are plenty of outdoor seating, including a beautiful sitting area around the outdoor fireplace. Sometimes I walk around the outlets at night, just to exercise and relieve stress. It really is a beautiful place to shop. read more

I will come here about 1 time a month. My husband really likes the discount tool place. I also like to go to gymboree and carters. They have great things for kids. I haven't really found too many other stores that I would frequent. The mall is nice though. It has a good flow as you are walking and nice places to sit. There are nice playgrounds if you have kids. The food is seriously lacking though. Pretzels, chinese, and maybe a little more. I guess they want you to go to the west gate restaurants, but you can't go there and get a quick bite and continue shopping. They need more fast foods type restaurants there so you can get things quick and easy. I bet a chipotle would do well, or a paradise. Please do check it out. Its a really good thing for the west side and west gate. read more

These outlets were some of the best ones I have been to. We were visiting from out of the state and it was nice to see that the actual facility was clean and spacious and there was a great mixture of high end and affordable stores to shop in. I never felt cramped in the stores and the workers were all very nice and didn't hound you in the stores. Parking was tough to find but it could have just been because it was a Sunday. read more

I don't make special trips to outlet malls. Yeah, I like a good deal just like anyone else would, but I also like convenience. That being said, I recently made the pilgrimage to the avenues (I live in south Scottsdale) to visit a friend and her new baby so I figured I'd check this place while I was out there since I still had a few gift cards from the holidays. I had already heard this outlet mall wasn't all THAT great so my expectations weren't all that high. Like others have said a good chunk of the stores here aren't even outlet versions of their parent stores. H&M is one example of this (although I'm not even sure if H&M does outlets in general). In fact, compared to other H&M's in the Phoenix area the store here seemed to have less of a sales section, which I thought was odd considering this one was located in an "outlet" mall. One of the stores I specifically came here to shop at was Banana Republic, which is an outlet store here, and did have a good selection with really good sales. Honestly, those were the two stores I came here to specially shop at, but if something else would have really caught my eye I would have stopped in and I didn't. Also, this mall barely has a food court. there's a Subway, a Wetzel's Pretzels (or maybe it's the other chain pretzel place usually found in malls?), and a Chinese restaurant. That's it. My understanding is this mall has some pretty weird agreements w/the surrounding area (it's right by UoP Stadium & Jobing.com Arena), and my guess the lack of food court options has something to do w/the restaurants located close by. Like I mentioned earlier, I don't do special trips to outlet malls, and the Tanger Outlets did nothing to sway my opinion. read more

Kind of a weird mix of stores here. Ralph Lauren and Coach to K-Momo. Who thought that was a good idea? Times must be tough. More staff in the stores than there are customers. And it's obvious. Guessing they all work on commission by the way they attach themselves to you as you are trying to browse. Customer service tip: If I need something, I'll ask. Say hello and let me be. Following me around or talking to me when I CLEARLY have an "I don't want to talk to you" face on just makes me walk out of your store even if I had intended to buy something. And your loss. Just ask the commissioned salespeople at Buckle. Pretty sure I support at least two of them. Oh, and food is almost non-existent. Probably due to its proximity to Westgate. read more

Great deals if you have the patience to hunt for the good deals. Lots of clothes at some stores that are just not attractive. For the most part we stay to brooks brothers, polo, and loft in our family. Lots of parking and places to eat around there as well. Most recently with my husband we popped into brooks brothers and scored! Found 90% off rack with loads of shorts and pants! Great deal! Nice place would go there again. read more

I finally went to the outlets to check them out with my sister. I was not impressed with their "Sales". Honestly I did not find many great deals. You could go to any mall and get the same prices. I remember going to the outlets years ago and finding the best deals and always coming home with a car packed with bags and bags of stuff. Sale wise it was a waste of time. The Outlets itself are clean and new looking of course. The parking lots are designed horribly. I am sure people get into accidents all the time. The lanes are so windy and not the best layout. Came with a friend on Black Friday after all the nut jobs went home to nap and it was worth the wait. Great deals, great stores, beautiful location. Parking was a little dicey however that's expected on Black Friday. Love love loved the H&M store! Great to have a Polo store, Hilfiger, Coach, Izod....so many choices. No need to go up to Anthem or out to AZ Mills anymore! The West Valley finally has some good shopping! Just keep in mind--not all the stores are "outlet priced". My only complaint is that there is no food court! It would be the PERFECT SPOT for a little coffee shop (NOT STARBUCKS--too many of those as it is), or burger shop or something. All there is is one little lonely pretzel stand...big whoop. So Tanger--get some food in your Outlet and you will be PERFECT! Luckily, Westgate has some good selections and is a a small walk nearby. read more

I went to these outlets on opening weekend and I thought it was just alright. To get in was a nightmare...the traffic was backed up forever despite there being tons of open parking spaces because they had traffic directors that slowed the traffic. The outlets were alright, but the selection was nothing special. I think these outlets are pretty on par with other outlets in the area. read more

Well I have been to many outlet malls in my day and this one is average at best. I mean the fact that it was built next to another shopping center.....in front of a football stadium (University of Phoenix Stadium) and near a Hockey arena (Jobing.com Arena) is totally outrageous. The traffic is HORRID.....and to be quite honest the stores are nothing really special. Now don't get me wrong there are some good stores here but again nothing you won't really find at any other outlet. Personally I like the PREMIUM OUTLETS a little better....but I can understand the desire to shop at Tanger. If your out in the Glendale area definitely give it a look....but for your occasional shopping frenzy try elsewhere. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!! read more

About 2 rows of stores. I guess it's a good start. however, there were only a couple of places to eat and if I'm not mistaken, a Chines place and a pretzel place. No food court. That's a big bummer. It's one of those covered out doors outlet. Very nice for this time of year but it'll still be pretty dang hot in the summer, even with misters, which I'm assuming they have. There is an H&M which is cool but I didn't stop by there ... waaay to many people. I'll spend more time there after the Christmas crowd dies off a bit. read more

Outlets malls are tented to have good verity of stores with good deal from the regular store but tanger is not much so, handful of the stores are not even outlet version of the main branch store, and it's a outdoor outlet which is fine but can be hot in the summer, but hey what else do you expect when you live in Arizona. It's just your typical outlet mall, worth checking out if you are in the area but not if you just going out of you way to come here. read more

Tanger Outlets Phoenix - Outlet Stores Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

The Tanger Outlets are a welcome addition to the west valley with the addition of up to 900 jobs. I routinely shop at the full price retail versions of several of the stores so am familiar with the prices and quality of the stock. Cole Haan - I am addicted to their bags. This weekend the store offered 50% of retail and an additional 20% off *1* item. The quality is excellent in most cases although some of the boots had uneven seams which leads me to believe they were not good enough for the regular stores. If the prices go back up from the 50% off, it might not be such a good deal - you can find Cole Haan at DSW for a good discount. The major benefit was the colors offered; DSW tends only to carry 1 or 2 colored bags and mostly stocks black and brown bags. But all in all, most of my money was spent here. Chicos - not the same quality as the Scottsdale stores and none of the Black Label items. I couldn't find anything here I thought worth spending money on. Calvin Klein - its a larger store than the one in Anthem and they carry more dresses. The dresses are about the same price as you can find them at Nordstrom's Rack but they also had several good deals on good quality sweaters and pants. Lots of color this season with pinks and purples. Much larger men's section as well. Gap - the store only carries the "low end" casual sweat pants, t-shirts, hoodies, etc. More geared toward children's and young teens clothes. I didn't see any Gap 1969 jeans, sweaters, casual dresses, Body by Gap or other items I tend to shop at the regular retail stores for. White House/Black Market - same issue as with Chicos and the Ann Taylor at Anthem. These are clothes made specifically for the outlet and therefore are lesser quality. The prices were not special: cotton skirts for $70 - you can get these on sale elsewhere. J. Crew - I always find good quality and recent styles here. I recognized the wool skirts from the regular retail store earlier this year. The prices aren't the lowest but they are a saving over the regular retail and the styles so classic that you can't really go wrong with a pencil skirt, cardigan or sweater. Sunglass Hut - the prices are slightly lower than what you get at the regular retail; however, I find that SGH is pricey to begin with. Perhaps you are paying for service, but I can get the $194 polarized Ray Ban aviators on-line for $144 (same price as at outlet). Brooks Brothers - excellent quality but only 10-25% off retail, probably more than what you would pay on clearance at BB stores. Banana Republic - slightly smaller than Anthem store; quality which is not quite up to BR standards. Many cute styles though. Lucky Brand - you can find the jeans at Costco for cheaper; the sale was a "BOGO 50%" which isn't too special IMHO Haggar - the men's dress khakis were a good deal; $18. My friend bought several pairs and 4 belts for $30. He and I found the shirts to be typical standard issue stripes and checks, but I'd suppose that Haggar isn't known for its cutting edge styles. Nine West - another "BOGO 50%"; DSW carries Nine West for better prices Michael Kors - lots and lots of bags (I like Cole Haan so am not interested) at good prices; the clothing selection is slim but they did have several cute dresses. It was helpful to see the store personnel in the clothes (except the couple of clerks that didn't really have the right fit for the dresses, which DISCOURAGED me from buying). Stein Mart carries Michael Kors at about the same prices as here. I didn't go into any of the children's, kitchen or sporting goods/wear stores. I wanted to go into H & M and Coach but the lines were very long outside the stores. I work 10 minutes from the mall (but live in the east valley), so will probably go back another day to check those out. I agree with the other posters that the lack of food right now is an issue; there are several vending machines which we put to good use since many of the stores were overheated (possibly due to the crowds). So long story short - disappointed about the quality of White House/Black Market and Chicos but since my favorite stores (Cole Haan, J Crew) carry nice stock here, I'm sure I'll be back! read more

I love these outlets. Great variety of stores. Usually great deals especially at Coach, Wilson's Leather, Oakley Outlet. Definitely clean. Plenty of parking. Big Ass fans for the summer. Wish it had a bit more shade and some misters for the summer. Worth the trip every time. read more

This sis way out of my 'hood, but I wanted to check out the Outlets opening weekend. Parking was not the worst, but what they had their staff directing didn't really make sense. It didn't take me too long to find a spot, though my friend I met up with parked across the way at Westgate which was easier. It was pretty crowded giving it was the day after Black Friday. Just browsing, there wasn't too much that caught my eye. I did notice, like others, that there is a severe lack of food venues, and the line for the pretzel place was out the door because of this. The prices were I did end up buying a few things were worth it, but I can't say I'd make the drive out there unless I was desperate. read more

These outlets are okay. I can't imagine on a hot day how it would be given it's outdoors. They have H&M, guess, Nike, Michael Kors...the list goes on. Parking is usually not bad except there's basically one entrance and one exit and everyone's walking around. read more

We had some spectacular service at Brooks Brothers and JCrew. Van-Heusen service was lacking but the prices were spot on for non-iron short sleeve dress shirts for only $15 each! We're visiting from Germany so I highly recommend this shopping area. The other malls we visited didn't have as nice a store selection. We found close parking immediately, its open/outdoor style so the weather was nice and the bathroom stalls were all handicap size so all shopping bags would fit as well. Highly recommend this place for a full wardrobe of shopping. Other stores we visited were Gap and Levi. read more

I would highly recommend going there for amazing deals on clothing. I found the Talbots and Chicos staff to be courteous and very helpful in finding items of my liking that were priced well below retail stores. The challenge is I found so much stuff my luggage flying home was almost over weight. The layout of the outlet was also easy for navigating. read more

I went shopping here and it was Black Friday and they had a 50% off off deal on true religion jeans. I even asked the rep that was working did the sale mean all jeans and she said yes all jean that are on the rack. So as I'm looking through all these jeans I come across some jeans that are marked down really low so I asked the rep again are these jeans part of the sale as well and she said yes they are on the rack locked with the other jeans. I picked out a few jeans and when I get to the register none of the jeans I had were part of the sale. I ask to speak to the manager which she made clear she wasn't the manager for that store and she can't help me because she don't know why those jeans where over in a rack that was locked with the rest of the jeans. This place sucks the jeans were 40 dollars half of that is 20 and you can't adjust it because you claim you can't or your to busy talking to your friend about last weekend. Horrible service, messy store and staff that do not know their job. I wish I could give them no stars for not fixing there display so they won't waste people time. read more

I went to the outlets today to shop . (11/26/17). There was an (at home) Cardinals game going on at the stadium . We arrived at the outlet during the second quarter of the game and We did not have to pay for parking as many of the other reviewers said they were made to do. There were however many many parking attendants on duty and much of the front entrance perimeter lot was barricaded off, and we were directed to drive around the entire lot to park, but we were not charged for parking. It seemed very controlled and was managed well. The LULULemon store was one of my favorite stores as well as the french bedding store, Yves DeLorme. LOVE. I bought several cashmere sweaters along with a few robes for Christmas presents, and the sheets and selection of bedding were just beautiful. Great prices too. I live 35 minutes away, but I would definitely travel out there again for shopping. Also, when it was dinner time, We simply walked across the street and ate dinner at the YARD HOUSE. (Met up with our husbands , who were at the game) but they parked in the stadium parking area as we have season tickets and a parking pass, felt like I needed to say that ) after the game and dinner at YARD HOUSE, we headed a few driving miles over to Pappadeaux for the most amazing Banana Puddin' on the planet, and gosh darn it if #48 , Jermaine Gresham wasn't in there eating dinner with his family! And!!! My husband just happened to have on what jersey?!!! #48 Jermaine Gresham! What?! So, Needless to say, It was a perfect day. read more

There's not much stores shopping center in here but restuarant!!!! A good place to chill by the fountain park, good spot to bring ur kids and just relax but as far as shopping this is not the place to go!! But I notice my favorite restaurant hot and juicy is coming soon so that's the only one that I would come back here for! The water fountain is very nice to view!!!! Very clean, awesome prices, great restrooms, vending machines everywhere. Sad that the playground wasn't open due to renovation/construction on the south end. Could use a few more food vendors. I only saw Wetzl Pretzels, and Subway....maybe I missed a spot. It'd be great to see a lil candy shop or a chocolatier added amongst the shops, maybe a wine and chocolate bar.... Levi's store- It seems the Levi's store does not want to sell their products. They consistently close the fitting room to put items back on the shelf. I purchased $180's worth of items by guessing my size, because I went to the store on two different days and could not try on any items. I was told to walk around the outlet mall and come back in about 45 minutes to an hour. I came specifically for the Levi store and had no plans to walk around, especially in this COVID environment. Levi's lost my $180 sale, as I returned the jeans I purchased because of a lack of customer service. I was very disappointed. read more

Boyfriend and I enjoyed the outlets, but this review is specifically for our experience with Sara at Helzberg Diamonds. We walked in yesterday and asked, right up front, if we could ask a favor of her even if we wouldn't be purchasing anything. She very kindly agreed and we proceeded to ask if she could size us for rings. Not only did she size us (basically perfectly just eyeballing it), but she talked to us for 10-15 minutes just about the types of rings we would want when we eventually get engaged and married. She was so kind, normalized the entire experience for us, and was extremely knowledgeable. We walked out confident in shopping at Helzberg in the future just because of our 15 minute conversation with her. She was wonderful and helped us enjoy our Tanger experience that much more! Other highlights: - Goffee: the coffee stand a little distance from Fossil had an incredibly sweet barista who personalized our drinks when we asked her for suggestions. The iced mocha and blended red velvet frappe were perfectly caffeinated desserts :) - Fossil: two service representatives (both named Lauren) were both nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. They let us browse on our own and answered questions, let us try things on. We left with two watches in part because of their help. - PARKING. Oh my gosh free parking. I shop at a few stores but Brooks Brothers and Tommy Hilfiger are my favorites because they seem to sell the same merchandise as in their mainline stores. A really nice place to shop. Ample parking surrounds the shopping area. Most of the big brands in apparel are represented. My favorites were Under Armour, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Levi's. Easy to access just off the Loop 101 and near the Arizona Cardinals stadium and Arizona Coyotes arena, so shopping before a game is possible too! read more

Mall management treats it's vendors like crap. They have no customer service skills or even care about people. During this pandemic you'd figure they would be more understanding but they are far from it. I witnessed a terrible interaction between the GM and a vendor who simply wanted to close for a few minutes. The GM was extremely rude with him and she didn't care about anything except reporting him for closing his store. I think he needed to close briefly for health reasons but she didn't care. She showed her true colors. Why would someone in a position of power do that to a vendor when so many are struggling right now especially small businesses? It was a disgusting display of management/vendor relations and how it was resolved. Online shopping is better anyway. read more

I frequently visit this outlet and have to say that it is a great thing to have so close to home! Location is great they have a very decent selection of stores and have already added more new ones since it's open! I'd like to see them get some better food choices, but truthfully that would be my only real complaint! The outlet itself is kept very clean and inviting! There are plenty of restrooms that are just about always in tip top shape, plenty of seating for those who aren't really there to shop lol! It's just a really nice set up especially for an outdoor mall! I would certainly recommend Tanger to everyone! read more
