Came here for mothers day brunch but wasnt even a brunch. It was like finger food from a wedding trying to be fancy. Hotel buffet... not my pick but we're here. Wouldn't recommend. Wanna be fancy place without the worth. 1) The service was horrible! 2) Don't except quality. Food was okay. They try to look fancy that they forget about the taste. 3) Prime rib was under cooked, too cooked or too hard. Never..!.. have I been to a place where the carving station didn't know how to cut or tell the quality of the meat. They usually ask which part you'd like but here they don't ask and they don't care. You get what they give. 4) Our bread basket came 5 minutes before we paid the check. 5) There was no live entertainment even though they advertised it. 6) We had to ask for our childs drink multiple times before they finally brought it. 7) No brunch items like fresh omlet, susage, bacon, or French toast. There was shrimp and crab claws, not legs. No melted butter and the server said they wouldn't bring any out. My husband had to ask the manager to get melted butter. 8) Everything else was cheap to make but was overdressed to look fancy. We are in Anaheim after a business convention because of snow on the East Coast. A dozen of us wanted to meet up for dinner so I made a reservation for 12 @ 7pm. When ordering appetizers, we were told we had to order 2 of whatever we chose because of the party size. Fine. Our appetizers and drinks were well gone before our waitress came back to take dinner orders. All the food was delicious. Service took a steep turn when the bill came. We could not split the check AND the bill was $500 because there was a minimum because of the size of our group!! I guess it explains why the restaurant was empty. read more

The soup was warm and hearty. Our server had recommended the winter salad over the Caesar salad, which I appreciated. The salad was very good and fresh. The chicken sandwich (recommend recommended by our server) was flavorful and very filling and after sharing that we were only able to eat a little of the mac & cheese (which was rich and tasty). Solid dishes all around. The bread that comes out with butter, olive oil, vinaigrette is so good! The dish portions were great. It is a bit pricey but the food tastes great. The composition plates are nice as it comes with sides. The chicken composition plate was surprisingly good! Infused with rosemary it gave a really amazing aroma and flavor to the chicken. The ahi tuna was decent, the red sauce tastes like their version of gochujang but I think it missed the point. Overall good food if you stay at the Westin, definitely worth checking out. read more

Came here for the Thanksgiving Buffet but didn't realize it was from 11a - 4p so we missed it and ended up eating off the regular menu. They did have a special Thanksgiving meal option. Service was great - we had the nicest server. The food was mid. Bread service: delicious focaccia but that's about it. The olives were a combo of sweet and vinegar - which was a nice surprise. Starter was the Autumn Orchard Salad with gem lettuce, apples, roasted squash, candied walnuts, quinoa and citrus vinaigrette. It really didn't have much flavor. Suggestion: throw in more candied walnuts and add some feta would have given it more flavor. Ordered the grilled yams with lemon yogurt and herbs - the yams were too "hard". They needed to pre-cook it since it wasn't cooked long enough and probably cut too thick. For the main, I ordered the Cavatini and Wild Mushrooms with brown butter sage cream, chestnuts, and aged pecorino. The cavatini was too al denté and hard to chew. The mushrooms were sour and the chestnuts were also too hard - like they were old and dried out. I think they were added to the pasta too late so they were tough to chew. Beware - they charge an 18% service charge. For what??? We were a party of 2 people! Extremely disappointing for a special Thanksgiving meal I was looking forward to. I had breakfast at the Tangerine Room two mornings during my stay at the Westin Anaheim Resort. Breakfast was included in my stay, which was the breakfast buffet option. For me, it was great that it was included in my stay but it was on the pricey side for breakfast, I believe about $33 per adult for the hot breakfast buffet. Had it not been included, I don't think I would have opted to pay that much for breakfast. I'm not a big breakfast person so the cost is a bit high for me, but for somebody that's a big breakfast eater, it could be much more of a better value. There was a good variety of food on the buffet, both hot and cold options. The server also gave us a menu where we could have asked for additional things such as an omelet, but we did not order any of those options. There was a separate menu available for guests to order by the plate as well, but I did not try any of those options. The food seemed very fresh and was well stocked. I found the food overall to be rather tasty. I liked that there was some variety from one day to the next. I'm often not a big fan of scrambled eggs, but these particular scrambled eggs were very good. All the booths had large, puffy pillows on them, which I thought was odd. There were only 2 of us in a large booth, so the pillows were not in our way, but if we had been a larger party, the pillows definitely would have taken up a significant amount of space. If I ever stay at the Westin again, I would definitely go back to this restaurant. read more

Been coming here for months since I frequent the Westin. After trying both breakfast and dinner this is certainly will be one of my usual spots. Atmosphere: Hotel like restaurant so most the decor will be apart of the hotel's vibe. Homely enough and spacious. Food: The breakfast buffet, is satisfying definitely nothing too crazy to write home about but it will get you ready for the day. I do have to rave about the dinner choices though. On a whim I bought the Ribeye as one needs their protein. Wow divine, something about the combination of mushrooms and pearled onions makes for this seasoning that's good enough to lap up, good thing I had some bread from the focaccia. Service: All the staff in my months of coming here are great very friendly and helpful, I'd even go so far that after coming so much I'd consider some good acquaintances. The Tangerine Room is located ont he first floor of the Westin Anaheim Resort. Since they were located within walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center, we met up our colleagues here for a Dinner meeting. To be honest it wasn't our first pick, but the other spots were completely booked. If you're driving here, you can validate or parking in the Westin structure. They validated for the structure, but I still had to pay a little more probably cause we exceeded the time. When we arrived, our colleagues were already seated in the patio. There were a total of 5 of us. We had a really good time, but the experience wasn't without a few hiccups. We shared appetizers and sides, and had our own entrees. A few drinks here and there. For the appetizers, we had planned to get their Focaccia Bread ($16), Fresh Parker Rolls ($12), and Scallop Ceviche ($22) to share. However they were out of one of the bread and had a replacement rosemary bread that we got instead. Unsure if the pricing is equivalent. And also they ran out of scallops so they offered a crudo that's not on the menu instead. Once again, not sure if the pricing is similar. The appetizers were enjoyable so at least it tasted good. Between the appetizers and the entrees service slowed down a bit. Some drink orders lagging that we had to follow up on. Our waiter straight up threw the bartender under the bus. Not sure if that's true but okay. For the shared sides, we shared the Garlic Mashed Potatoes ($12), Brussels Sprouts ($14), and Mac & Cheese ($14). They were as tasty as expected. No exrta frills but served their purpose as a slide. My companions all ordered different entrees. There was the Cacio e Pepe ($26), Herb Crusted Halibut ($35), Kurabuta Pork Chop ($38), and a Filet Mignon ($48). I had the Duck Breast ($38). I find it interested that the dishes under compositions implied they would come with sides compared to the meats that are on the block, but I noticed all the dishes could use additional sides. My plate had a barely schmear of allegedly sweet potato puree but it looked and tasted like basic mashed potatoes. There was a little bit of chantrelle mushrooms on top but it wasn't really a meal size without the additional side. The duck was decent but not great. A bit overly chewy and hard to cut through. Still good times and a nice spot to grab dinner in a crunch, but definitely pricey and inventory doesn't seem well stocked. Service is a bit on and off. Had Thanksgiving Dinner here and I wish I'd have come to lunch instead because they had what looked like an awesome all you can eat buffet with a carving station in the lobby. We expected to do that hen it ended for Thanksgiving Dinner where you could order a turkey dinner or any thing else. I got that turkey dinner and to be honest, I've had better. My mom who is not a chef at all might make her turkey dry, but all the flavors are right. At this restaurant I didn't like the carrots, the gravy for the turkey or much of anything else. While on a business trip to Orange County this past week, a group of us had an excellent dinner at the Tangerine Room. This is a restaurant inside the Westin Hotel in Anaheim. This is a first class place with a great menu. After sharing some appetizers, I ordered the Wagyu steak from the specials menu. Cooked medium rare, this dish was fantastic! Garlic mashed potatoes as a side dish went very well with the beef. This is a popular hotel with Disneyland basically across the street. The breakfast buffet was not up to par for a fancy hotel. There's a good variety of options, which I appreciated, and the seating is super kid-friendly--lots of room for strollers, which made it way less stressful for families like ours. The coffee was actually really tasty, not watered down like some hotel spots. The eggs were nice and fluffy--not dry or overcooked, which is rare (they used real eggs and not the bag, iykyk). The yogurt stood out too--thick, creamy, and topped with real fruit that wasn't just tossed on as an afterthought. I also liked the crepe--it had a nice blueberry filling that wasn't too sweet, just right. Now for the not-so-great: the bacon and sausage tasted kind of like rubber. I get that they might be going for a healthier vibe, but it missed the mark. And the French toast was whole grain and kind of tough, not the soft, indulgent kind you'd hope for. Stopped here with some friends after a business convention and it looked like an amazing place to sit down and have a more formal meal. It took a little while to get seated but they were fairly quick to get us seated after they said it was going to be like a 45 minute wait. This is a place you probably more dress up a little bit so button up shirt or something other than just walking around in sandals and a t-shirt but it's what we were in the mood for for sure after a long convention. Really nice menu with more top of the line menu choices than a lot of the places around the area. It's an interesting things with various meat selections and there are a lot of healthy meal choices mixed in with just about anything you could get. They have an extensive wine menu as well as some amazing desserts some of which are cooked right in house. Server was really nice and answered all of our questions and came back to our table multiple times to check on us and make sure we had enough drinks or check on how everything was tasting.especially appreciate this if someone who doesn't really drink alcohol so when I'm having coffee or water it's nice to have someone keep checking. My meal was amazing and I didn't get a chance to sample the meals of the people I was with but they all commented on how their pastas or meats or potato selections were all very very good. read more

I took my dad here last year, when we went to the OC Auto show.. It's bitter sweet because this weekend is the OC Auto Show again but my dad is not here anymore. He recently passed. That said, my dad loved the brunch we had here last year when I took him. It is inside the Westin so though we live super close by, I don't come here often. But, if I do have events to attend to at the convention center, I would make sure to stop by this place and the cafe outside. Staff were friendly and the place is very elegantly decorated. TR is the primary restaurant at the Westin Anaheim Resort. We had dinner and the breakfast buffet at TR during our staycay. There are two other adjacent restaurants (Flemings & Puesto). However, we were on the DL, and did not want to dress up for Flemings. Secondarily, I am not a fan of Puesto. For dinner, I had the salmon w/ risotto. The salmon was moist and nicely seasoned. The only downside was the price. We spent ~ $100 w/ tip for a light entree, an app, a side and one glass of wine. Likewise, the breakfast buffet had all your basics: Eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, breads & pastries. All of the food was tasty. However, for the price I would have expected an omelette station. Nonetheless, I am not going to hate on TR bc of the prices. Its expensive to operate an all day restaurant, and its hard to judge how many guests will eat at the in-house place. Regarding the ambiance, its casual yet spacious. The service was on point, but there were hardly any guests for dinner or breakfast. In addition, service for breakfast consisted of getting our drinks. I would not go out of my way to eat at TR, but if you want to have a good meal at the hotel, TR does the trick. read more

This place is inside Westin hotel and if I remember correctly, Tangerine Room does validate your parking ticket. But just make sure you ask when you get there to confirm. The food was average and it was just super overpriced for the little portion we got for the entree. Was pretty disappointed in the entrees because the entree only came with a meat. Our family came here for the Easter brunch. Getting seated and served were ok. They had a good selection of food. The sushi was only fair. All rice with very little filling. The prime rib was over cooked and tough. They had a large selection of desserts but nothing to my taste. An Easter egg hunt and crafts were supposed to be part of the brunch. Save your money! Plenty of better brunches in OC!!!! Came here on Sunday May 10, 2026 for Mother's Day brunch. Their online flyer stated complementary champagne or mimosas for mom, live entertainment, and extensive brunch buffet for $100 bucks per person. This was not at all what we experienced. First, they only provided mom one mimosa for the whole meal. They didn't even ask if she wanted mimosa or champagne. Extra glasses were additional $12. The service was sub par. There was NO live entrainment only elevator music over the ceiling speakers. The buffet felt like a wedding cocktail hour. Nothing you'd expect for the price or location. I've had better bunches at El Torito. Tiny paper cups with cheese and grapes, Cesar salad, and square sour dough pieces with cream cheese and sliced cucumber isn't going to fool anyone into thinking it's high class? Finger foods aren't brunch. I mean c'mon guys, seriously do not try and reinvent the wheel when it comes to Sunday brunch. So here's a little advice. Send your decision makers over to any of the other half dozen brunches in OC and take some notes. Because, in 2026, you can't just pretend your fancy with colorful verbage with false advertising and expect no one to notice. read more

Open Table seemed to be down so I wasn't able to make a reservation, but luckily we were seated quickly. The waitress was very nice and personable and let us know how the buffet worked. It included a beverage such as coffee or orange juice. I usually don't really like breakfast buffets at hotels, but the food was surprisingly good. As much as they promote this restaurant, the service and food doesn't follow my standard and expectation. First, I called and left a voice message to the representative of this restaurant regarding of the Father's Day brunch/buffet. Before I was being transferred to this person, I have been told that there was going to be a Father's Day brunch/buffet so I made the reservation. It was kind of skeptical since the Mother's Day brunch/buffet menu was still on their website even the day of Father's Day but I didn't think much. For a week, the representative didn't return my call. Since it's a restaurant in The Westin Anaheim Resort, I decided to just stick with this restaurant even though it was going to cost me $95 per person. When I arrived at the restaurant and waited to be seated, I noticed the menu at the front desk wasn't a Father's Day brunch/buffet. I asked the front desk lady and she told me that they were not having the Father's Day brunch/buffet. I was a little bit upset because I had a large group of people coming to celebrate and there weren't anything special about the brunch. If the representative would have called me back to give me the information, it would be nice so I can go somewhere else but here I am. Another thing was that there was a Tangerine Room - Farm to Table Breakfast Buffet ($33) on the menu at the front desk so I thought they at least have that so I didn't cancel the reservation on the spot and kept going with it, which was a huge mistake. They didn't even have that. If I was going to have dishes that I could get from anywhere else, I wouldn't have ask my group and myself to drive all the way here. The server and her helper were nice but wasn't around us that we had to wait until one of them are around and ask for filling the water, getting us some condiments, etc. There were only two tables with customers and it was a late afternoon so I'm still trying to understand why it was so hard for them to serve people. Everybody starting from the front desk to the servers, they all act like they just didn't want to be there, which made all of us don't want to be there. Yes, the restaurant itself was very elegant and chic and the presentations of the food were great but not enough to compensate the experience that we all had. It was full of disappointment and I would not recommend to my friends and families. If you must try, their Mi Chilaquiles is the best, then the burger and breakfast burrito.
