She commented you keep asking me to bring shoes so you can buy somewhere else. My wife called me while i was in the car and I told her to leave and not buy a single item. So this was a big step to buy a new pair of pointe shoes again. The Red Shoes is a store I passed by often but unfortunately it was closed by the time I was around. Thankfully today I caught the shop open and I'm so glad I did!! Lilly was absolutely phenomenal. She made the process so much easier with her kindness, patience and knowledge. I cannot stress how knowledgeable, patient and kind she was. I didn't feel judged for being an adult coming in to get a pair of pointe shoes which was a great feeling! She took lots of time to work with me to find the perfect fit for each foot and even showed me all the new ways pointe has become a little more comfortable. From the ouch pouch to clear stretch tips! On top of her great customer service, the price of everything I left with today was extremely fair. Lilly went above and beyond and not only helped me but made me feel welcomed (which from what I remember as a kid, it wasn't always that way in many ballet spaces). I also want to mention her co-worked (unfortunately I didn't get the name) but she was also very sweet too!
