I wanted to add a review to counteract some of the old negative reviews. Hard for me to believe negative reviews because I've had nothing but excellent service. Had a backup dent in my 2019 Cadillac repaired and they took care of few scratches no extra charge. Their quote was approximately $1000 less than another quote. So took my sons 2015 Rogue w major front end damage. They used what original parts they could and saved me over $1200 from Royal Coach quote. I'm not sure there are so many positive reviews, worst experience I've ever had!! First off, it took two and a half months to do the work, and I got little to no communication unless I called them. After the work was finally completed, there were so many items that needed to still be corrected, some of which I did myself! After taking it back for what should only take an hour or two to do, they had my vehicle the entire day! I would definitely NOT recommend Tanksley's Body Shop at all!! read more

Customer service was bad, I had to keep calling to get information on when my car would be ready because it took 3x's as long to do the work than what I was originally told. Also, if your insurance has them as a preferred shop, DO NOT USE THEM! You will get no say so in how the work is done or how much it costs. They will bill insurance directly and you will be on the hook for your deductible if not more! read more

Hail damage repairs done to my vehicle were unacceptable, there were several spots sanded not buffed out, scratched the chrome trim on my car, over spray on clear coat, and other areas, bubbles in the paint job. I would never recommend this body shop. Car returned back for repairs for there service and they will not make it right. read more

I was given a quote for minor repair not going through insurance. Spoke with rep on several occasions When picked car up the price had increased by 40% without any communication. When confronted for explanation was just told that they had to do exactly what they said they would be doing trying to make it seem like something changed when nothing did. Very dishonest experience. I have had many excellent experiences there in past with The original owner but the name is the only thing that remains the same about this once excellent business. A quote is supposed to be an assurance that a customer can count on what the service is to cost. Any changes should always require the customer be notified before work done. They have lost a customer for life. read more

My wife hit some debris while driving a rental car. She wanted to find out the extent of the damage, and stopped in to Tanksley's. The owner informed her that a piece of trim had come loose, and he reattached it for her. Further, he refused to take any payment for the work (although she insisted on paying him a nominal amount). It's nice that there are still honest people in the car repair business--folks who have integrity and will not attempt to gouge an out-of-town female who brings in a car for an inspection. Because of this level of integrity, I would recommend this shop to anyone in the NWA area who needs auto body work. read more

I have never experienced anything this rude in my life. Part of using locally owned business, they don't understand the term customer service. Regardless of the issues, customers are always right. I usually deal with the husband, Bill and never dealt with the wife and daughter. Coming to the shop to pick up my car, which has some work done couple times for the same issue. Imagine coming in to get the same work done three times, can you hold your emotions when you are coming in over and over for the same job and it's not done right. The wife decided to say, I'm never ever to step on the shop again b/c I was rude. Look who is the rude one bad mouthing me. Well, if you guaranteed workmanship and since you can't solve the problem, telling a customer to not step in the shop again isn't going to solve your problem. The husband, Bill, the kindest person with the greatest customer service skill apologized but the wife still insist on bad mouthing me. I wondered, why I didn't call my lawyer to deal with her since they guarantee lifetime workmanship and she's being super rude about me coming in three times for them to fix the original issue, it wasn't free for one thing. She claimed I was rude, haha, well, I guess she wasn't then. Next time, I guaranteed if there is issue with my car again, I will have my lawyer deal with her personally. I will never step my foot in an environment of rudeness and racist place. read more

Really great place to get your car repaired. Friendly fast and affordable!

I had minor rear end damage, about $2200 covered by insurance. I made it abundantly clear that I wanted OEM parts used as replacements since the car was new, and if the insurance would not pay to let me know. When I picked up my car I was disheartened at the work they had done. The rear valance was damaged and quoted on the repair, but they decided to paint over it instead. They did not call or let me know they just took it upon themselves to cobble up my car. It gets worse. Several interior panel and molding clips were broken that they did not bother replacing. Literally 1/4 of the clips on the wheel moldings were broken off and there was a rattle in the lift gate that ended up being other broken clips. Anyway, I took it back to them to fix the bumper that was misaligned. They kept it for two days and did nothing. At this point I had very little recourse; I could let them try to fix it again and be without my car for no telling how long or take it somewhere else. I chose the latter. There is much more I could say about my poor experience. But the gist of it is, their body work is shoddy at best, and their customer service is more than lacking. On a positive note, where they painted it is actually very good (except were they tried to paint the valance). read more
