Since there is no night skiing available the snow isn't super packed down. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Since this is a private club it definitely feels like it's own community and seems very family oriented. When I have gone there aren't wild and rowdy teens which is a plus. The good news is that on weekdays anyone can buy a pass to check out this awesome place. You can buy online to get a small discount. I have only gone during the week and there haven't been serious crowds or lines. I am not sure about the weekends but since it's members only I'm sure it's not nearly as busy as some of the other local public resorts. The lodges are cozy and accommodating. There is now a cafeteria here in the main lodge which has plenty to choose from. You are also free to bring your crockpots or picnic style lunches to enjoy. There are tons of indoor and outdoor seating options, many large grills for anyone to use and a cool fire pit to sit and relax. There are rentals, lessons and a specialty adaptive ski program available. During covid masks were worn inside and outside and this was enforced by staff. Hand sanitizing stations were set up all over. There was also a large, outdoor, well ventilated tent this year to provide extra seating during covid. Another fun perk that makes this place unique is there are many gorgeous homes on the hills and around the trails. It's fun to see them when you are on the lift and skiing down the hills.

Last year, we had multiple fruit loops stuck to our shower curtain.. Like neon green cereal (I get things can be missed but this was so obvious) This year, someone's used contacts were in the same shower & also candy wrappers / garbage under the beds. The lights in the one bedroom just didn't work. It's humorous at this point. This place is such an ideal location, which is why we continue to come back, but the hotel is in serious need of renovations & a new cleaning crew.

They have an amazing pool area where you can purchase day passes for 20 bucks per adult and kids are even cheaper. They also have summer passes. I was told you have to book it the day before for weekend day passes but during the week you may be able to do it last minute. The servers from the restaraunt come right up to your lounge chairs if you want to order drinks/food. You are not allowed to bring in your own alcohol but we brought our own food and no one yelled at us. I will say it was difficult to find 5 lounge chairs together so maybe plan to get there early if you have a big group and it's the weekend.

Unfortunately, I was still the only restaurant/ bar customer when I left about 5:00pm. More people need to discover this gem. Re: Skiing. We are season pass holders & it's one of the best places to CC ski in 100 miles. Beautiful setting, quiet, and they do an excellent job on grooming the trails. Trails are groomed for both classical & skate skiing.

Turns out once you pay your dues for this private club its BYO Anything! Beer, wine, booze, crock pots and casseroles of anything. Your options are endless!! Feeling left out?? The food was so yummy (burgers, chicken tenders and Fries so good) at the Lounge and the bloody Mary's at Willie's were perfect. The staff were friendly and patient! I will definitely be back!
