I have been a loyal client of Connie for more than a year and a half now. I have to admit I have been reluctant to write a review up until now due to the fact that she is highly sort after and I already have to book my appointments with her days in advance. I am in one of those professions that requires hours of continued bending of the neck, and use of the wrists and forearms. I made the conscious decision to discontinue the prescription medications (pain killers, muscle relaxers, etc.), and hoped that some therapeutic body work would mean no more cortisone injections from the doctor. I began seeing Connie for ninety minute sessions twice a month, and within months felt a great improvement. Today I am free of prescription medications and go for an hour massage just once a month. I no longer get muscle spasms, or the type of back pain that requires cortisone shots. I have tried chiropractic and acupuncture, but neither relieved my pain like this massage master. I was motivated to write this review after seeing no reviews especially for her who is so experienced. All I can say is that during this time my massage sessions with her were excellent - I left feeling relaxed and renewed and looking forward to the next session. I am picky when it comes to body work, and it took me a while to find Connie, but she is well worth the wait. If you want a same day massage appointment with a good-enough time pass, there are plenty in this area. I have tanned at Tans plus for almost 5 years. I originally chose them because they were the most knowledgeable when offering tanning advice, with great tanning beds and reasonable prices. I have stayed with them because they are a friendly, customer oriented tanning salon, which is more than most others offer. I have tried almost all of the different beds in their location, including the Mystic Tan spray tan, and have had good results, without fail. I will continue to use them as my only choice for tanning and lotion purchases, and recommend them to anyone that enjoys a clean, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Also the most important thing that they change their lamps every 400-450 hrs and even display the hours used by each bed in their reception area. So I know my every dollor spent is worth. read more

I know tanning is bad. I know it's uncool. I know it leads to pre-mature aging and may increase your chances of developing some types of skin cancer... but I love to tan mid-March through August.. I don't do anything else bad. I use the high pressure turbo bed (what a terrible name for something that may be harming you... Harm me TURBO!) But it gives a great tan and doesn't burn you. I tan about once a week. I pay about $120 a month. So, $30 a tan. It seems a bit steep, but I'm not buying fake tanning lotion or spray tans all summer and I can throw on a pair of shorts and never worry about color... Tan Plus is great! The staff is really nice and greets me by name. It's really clean and I can always get in. My bottom line: If having a tan is a plus for you, go to Tan Plus! read more

Wonderful experience! Staff was exceptionally nice and took the necessary time to explain the products and services offered. Decided to do a cocktail tan. Mina was my airbrusher and she was such a sweet lady. She was very methodical, detailed, and let me customize exactly how I wanted my airbrush spray tan (medium on top, darker on the legs). I was very pleased with the results. Right after, went into the suncapsule stand-up bed. Bed they said is recently brand new and lights are new. Tanning bed was clean (hate it when there is residual bronzer from the person before but didn't see any) and the room was pleasant. On the way out bought an airbrush package which brings it to about $35/airbrush- you can't beat that anywhere. Will definitely be back. read more

Man oh Man! First, i have been patronizing Tans Plus for about 4 years now. First on San Ramon, and then when their beautiful location opened up in Alamo I was all about it. 1. Customer Service is Awesome 2. Place is clean as a whistle 3. Ambiance is relaxing 4. Beds are fantastic!!! A+++++ I have never burned..2 visits to the high pressure beds leaves you feeling like a golden goddess...im not kidding! 5. Spray tan is also very high quality! Very high end equipment! 6. I have never been let down, by this place. Never! Ok I've never ever been a big tanner .. for whatever reason I never have been in a tanning bed either .. but I say there is a first time for everything and it was my lunch break and I drove by it on my way to the sandwich shop .. I popped in to ask how much it was and what exactly this tanning thing is about .. the girl working there was REALLY nice and wasn't all snobby about me being tanning ignorant .. so then I dropped my CC and my clothing .. put on the little funny glasses and I jumped into a really crazy (sort of scary at first) light coffin .. 12 mins .. it felt like being on the beach with a breeze when I closed my eyes .. that last comment was posted when the old owners had the place. the new owner, Shelley, is the nicest woman ever! my friend and i have adopted the comfy yellow couch in the waiting area as are home away from home. we enjoy coming in and relaxing a bit before and after a tan! the have: airbrush mystic level 1 bed several leval 2 beds and the OMEGA bed i love the omega bed! it is very relaxing and it has a super strong fan so you never get hot. all in all it is awesome!!! read more

Went her to tan over the weekend for the first time. Friendly staff. Had a tour of all the services and packages. Bought a first time package, cashed in on a lotion holiday deal they had going on, and overall had a great experience. Place itself was clean and well kept. Overall a quaint little area just near Walnut Creek, super convenient on my commute as right off the highway on the way home. read more

The staff is always helpful and friendly, plus the facility is super clean. No matter what service you are going for, I highly recommend this place! By far the best tanning place in the neighborhood... I have visited several other tanning places in an around San Ramon, Dublin, but this place is a hidden Jewel of Alamo. Apart from tanning they also have good massage and an excellent masseuse. Ambiance is very relaxing, excellent customer service & friendly Owner/Staff... Came to visit some family in the East Bay and wanted to get my tan on. Loved the cute little place. Did my cocktail tan with the mystic and then stand up bed. Took advantage of some of the holidays deals and got a great discount on some black chocolate lotion. Right off the highway which was pretty convenient. Hidden gem in Alamo. Nice that when I go visit family on weekends, I literally don't have to travel more than 2 minutes to get an awesome Swedish Massage.
