I got a nice pretty blue to match the nails. After that was done, the same older gentleman asked my pedicure stylist if she had 30 minutes to quickly do my design. Crazy. Then he just told me to come back. He looked at the picture and told me it was too complicated and it would take him all day, as if I'm not paying him. So I got frustrated and went with French. As I'm getting my nails done, my morale is down because I'm not getting what I thought I was getting. After expressing I had blue toes and French tip nails, he expressed that it went well together instead of offering a solution. And he stated I wasn't communicating about my French style when I didn't want that in the first place. As I finished up, I told him I wasn't satisfied with my service and only finished because I got started and wasn't communicated with properly. A day before my cruise, and I am very disappointed. Please make sure they explain realistically what they can and can't do before you put your money into their business. Doesn't communicate well. Good for quick, last-minute fixes. Other than that, go to a nail tech or the other salon by Food Lion.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and professional, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of service you receive. I've been coming for about four months now, and every visit has been consistent. That says a lot. Nina, Emily, Kenny, and I believe Larry have all taken care of me at different times, and every one of them has done an amazing job. You can tell they take pride in their work and really care about their clients. I keep my nails on the longer side, and they handle them with care every time. No rushing, no shortcuts. Just good, quality work. I also get my eyebrows threaded and henna done here, and I've never had a bad experience with either service. The shop is clean, organized, and has a good vibe. You feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. It's hard to find a place that stays consistent, but they've done that for me. I did not receive the manicure I requested, and when the fill in was completed, my nails were extremely thick, rough, and scratchy. The skin on my thumb extends past the nail, and the fill in did not fully cover my left thumb or the middle nail on my right hand. Several nails are so thick that picking up small items or putting my earrings back in will be difficult. The young lady who did my pedicure also appeared to be very inexperienced. By the time she finished, I was honestly heartbroken over the entire experience. What made the situation worse was that they attempted to have the same gentleman fix my nails after I had already expressed my dissatisfaction. No thank you. They were clearly aware that I was upset, yet they laughed as I left, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I paid for the services without arguing or creating a scene because that is not who I am. However, paying for a service does not mean I should remain silent when the quality is unacceptable. The wait wasn't too horrific for them to be as busy. Some of the employees were welcoming, and some were just not. I actually debated leaving because I didn't feel comfortable. However, I believe he was the manager, stepped in and provided me with an update, reassured me with an update on the status of being provided a service, so I decided to stay.    The guy that provided the service for my nails was moving fast. A callus scrub is an extra, which is a bit bizarre to me because I thought that was always a part of a pedicure. I got gel on my toes. I was only shown one color ring and asked if they had additional color options. Another young lady brought me about two more rings, so I chose amongst those options.    My nails were not shaped properly, and they were really thick. I'm not one to complain at the nail shop because of the complicated process, so I said to myself, "They were good enough for me to get out of there." They didn't look bad, but they didn't look great.    The most disappointing part of the experience was after I left in my slides. I returned home looked down and the gel was peeling up! I was mad. I am not going to lie. I did call and message them on Facebook, and they told me to come back up and speak with the manager, but I never got another opportunity to do so between working and being a mom. Also, shortly after that, my nails started to peel up, so I just let it go, moved on, and returned to a previous place.    If it was an emergency, this place would probably be my second or third option. Once again, not terrible but not great, especially for the price.
