I really hate to write bad review for local business but I have no choice.. Food and service was just no no... First of all, the lunch menu was a joke. Price is too high and the food quality was too low. I ordered crab meat & shrimp pasta for $19, hoping that the meal would be worth the price. However it was just non-sense. Pasta came out pretty fast. Dish contained 3 pieces of shrimp, tiny shredded crab meat with the over cooked angel-hair pasta? with extremely salty marinera sauce. Even the portion was so small. Second meal we ordered was chicken parm sandwich(not a lunch menu). It was also in same overly salted marinera sauce and the chicken was very thin. So only thing I could taste was the saltiness from the sauce. But for $8 bucks, it was tolerable. Now the service. There was non-existed. Waiter was unfriendly & unprofessional. Since we were very hungry, after ordering the meals, we waited for the bread to come out first(that's what usually happens at the restaurant, isn't it??). But waiter never came with the bread. Even after we ask for the bread, it only came out when the meal was served. On the other hand, it actually worked out well since the meal was too salty, we would not have been able to eat it without the extra bread. I see that other yelpers gave good review with other dishes, so my review was only for the 2 dish and the service received. We were unhappy because the money we spent and the service we received did not add up. I have no intention of going back.

First time eating here but this is probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at! Eggplant parm was absolutely amazing! I got fresh steamed veggies and they were perfection! Bread was served with roasted red peppers which are my favorite! Also got veggie pizza which had non traditional veggies that were perfect! Zucchini, eggplant, fresh tomatoes! Staff was amazingly patient and super helpful and knowledgeable. I wonder if they are growing their veggies in the garden out back? I will definitely be returning soon with my family! Thank you for a great experience!!!

This triple pasta dinner was to include Penne a la vodka, pasta alfredo, & a pomodoro? The alfredo was flavorless, undercooked farfelle with a milky sauce - no flavor, not thick with milk, butter or parmesan cheese, or even a touch of fresh parsley,...then TWO red penne dishes, side by side. First, the penne vodka tasted of no shallots or garlic- bland & again, undercooked. And, next to the pomodoro? No taste. Didn't they have any other pastas? Why use TWO penne's & why place them side by side? The portion was ridiculously huge! It was delivered in a 9x12 aluminum baking tray. No flatware, no napkin, no roll (They send a 5" personal pizza instead?!), no receipt. And the worst part? Yelp said they were open until 9:30, but when trying to call to complain, there was no answer, but I was asked to put in a remote code. I wanted a credit. Perhaps I can reheat some of the food with some spices & herbs & make something edible with the visually unappealing & 3 woefully tasteless, undercooked pasta dishes. What a waste of money. What a shame since this restaurant has a good reputation for many years. Perhaps the chef had the night off? Or perhaps they have strayed & lost their passion for cooking. P.S. I called the next day & spoke to the manager (said he was)... his basic answer was 'that's the way we serve it' & 'maybe you should come in & try it in the restaurant since it's different when delivered.' I said that I wasn't interested in paying for the same dish again - he offered nothing! I confirmed with 'so that's your answer?...you have nothing to offer?' Okay. My answer? - I won't be back.

You've all probably sampled this pasta at one point or another as they are this nation's supplier for fine restaurants, hotels and resorts since 1984. The only way to purchase it for your own home use is to visit them on line or to find a location inside of a farmer's market or a gourmet specialty food shop. They have over one hundred different dried pastas, raviolis, pesto, sauces, oils all made the traditional way that Italy has been doing for years. The flavors conjure up images of the best pasta salads you will ever make with flavors like basil garlic, lemon parsley, southwestern, calypso and tomato basil. So many more, even chocolate and fruit flavors, hello kids of all ages! The lasagna sheets, I have never seen this before, flavored sheets of trio peppercorn, spinach garlic and roasted red pepper, now that has to be good! The flat cut noodles are too numerous to mention, but there has to be thirty different flavors, a few of them are basil tangerine, chipolte pepper, dark chocolate, curry, orange Szechwan, spicy red hot Thai curry and Venetian calamari, okay that was more than a few, but I get so excited. They have healthy pastas of whole wheat and more, even gluten free pastas. The selection of orzo is amazing and I did go a bit over board in buying, but hey my pantry is well stocked. Did you know that the lasagna noodle was the first noodle to ever be made, according to food historians. The thick noodle was laid out in the hot Mediterranean sun to dry and the edges would curl while drying. From what I have found so far, the flavors do come out in your dish of the pasta you have made, although a contradicting sauce can enhance or completely take away from it. I need to remember to balance the flavors as I make more. Their website also offers recipes, as I have just found out, so this could be great fun... As hubby is running away. For the orzo, which is delicate anyway even though these flavors scream at you like the sweet potato or the supreme which is porcini mushrooms, roasted pepper and saffron. I am anxious to try the autumn orzo which is sage, pumpkin and chestnut, hubby says yuck, blah, blah, blah. Anyway I am making the lime cilantro linguine tonight and tossing it with tomatoes, peppers, onions, red pepper flakes, olive oil and sauteed shrimp, then tossing in some feta. If he doesn't like it, he can have a grilled cheese or go to bed hungry.

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!
