Prices seemed a little high but the dishes were delicious, with portions being reasonable and the Pad Thai not being overwhelmingly sweet. The fried chicken was magically crunchy outside and moist inside, with an irresistible dipping sauce not too cilantro-y. The Windham Local has a parking lot off to the side, but there was ample street parking too. And a shop proprietor later told us that The Windham Local is her place to eat in town!

Plus you can relax and defrost a bit while looking at the gorgeous scenery. And the french fries are pretty darn good! The wait staff is friendly and we were not rushed out of our seats to turn over the table. The rest room lines are shorter upstairs too.
