Found parking conveniently right in front in the street since it was a quiet day out. I was looking for wool roving which she didn't have, however, she was so kind to explain the difference between the types of material and she showed me the correct type of yarn she did have that I'd be able to pull apart with my carding brushes! She had a lot of equipment to use for yarn crafts and it was great to see the variety of product inside. Apparently she holds craft nights and such too which I'm planning on looking into. Prices here were sooo much better than all the places I've found online which is also have to pay extra for shipping. She also even rolled the yarn into a ball for me before we left. Hopefully they'll have wool roving here soon, but I'm thankful for the yarn we were able to purchase for my current projects :) The best part -- her dog Jasper kept us company throughout our whole experience there and he is the absolute cutest cuddle bug! LOL the child has spoken! 5 stars it is! There are so many camps to chose from in the East Bay but what we have been loving about Aran's Art Camp is the intimate group size: there's no more than 10 kids per art camp and we've lucked out with an even smaller group during our time here. The camp is taught by a mix of Aran herself and her staff and they've been nothing but wonderful. My kiddo comes home from art camp every day bursting at the seams about everything he's worked on and learned (giving me safety tips about glass fusing and teaching me what a pinch pot is!) and he looks forward to going back each day. Each week is a different theme so if you wanted to sign up for multiple sessions, your child will definitely be working on something different each time. While the hours are 10-2, they offer before and after care for an additional fee which basically turns this into an all day camp if you were to maximize on the 9-3 aspect of it. There's a lot of half day camps out there so if you use their before and after camp, you get a good chunk of the day covered! Lastly, they go to the park every day after lunch to let them move around and get some sunshine and Fridays is pizza day! My kid said he would love to come back to art camp again next summer.

I also appreciated that there are some Christian items, including calendars, books, and other knick knacks. My only minor complaint is the line to pay. I only had a few items, but there is no self-check available, so I had to wait in the 1 line. Other than that, this is a nice crafts store with a decent yarn supply.

This experience at the San Leandro Target on September 1 at approximately 12:50 PM was incredibly disappointing. I had a curbside order totaling around $180, with many of the items being for work, including drinks, snacks, and other supplies. For some reason, my order was split into two separate orders. I received the first order and then waited approximately 20 minutes for the second order. When the employee finally came out with the second order, he began unloading the items into my trunk in a very careless manner. He was essentially throwing the items into my trunk and slamming them down. These were items I had just spent $180 on, and I expected them to be handled with at least a basic level of care. After he finished, he closed my trunk, but it did not actually close all the way because some of the items were sticking out. My car beeped and the trunk automatically reopened. When I got out, I noticed that items had fallen out of my trunk onto the ground. I said, "Excuse me, you didn't close the trunk all the way or load the items properly. Some of my items fell out." His response was honestly the worst part of the entire experience. He looked directly at me, turned around, and simply walked away without saying a word or offering any assistance. I was completely shocked. It was not just the careless way my purchases were handled--it was the complete lack of acknowledgment, professionalism, or basic customer service afterward. I regularly shop at the Pinole Target, and I have never experienced anything like this there. I understand that employees have busy days, but being busy is never an excuse to treat a customer this way. As someone who manages employees myself, I would never allow one of my employees to treat a customer this way. Customer service should include basic respect, accountability, and professionalism. This interaction genuinely ruined my entire day. It was the way he looked at me and intentionally walked away that really stuck with me. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to the San Leandro Target for curbside pickup. I have already shared my experience with my friends and coworkers because I believe customers deserve better than this. I sincerely hope management reviews what happened and addresses it with the employee, because this is not the level of customer service I expect from Target.
