Varied sizes of containers & colors to choose

Tap plastics has been around San Leandro since 1952, so that says a lot. They have a wonderful array of plastic containers, light tubes & acrylic products. A great place to shop for all your acrylic needs.

Background using the black LED panel acrylic with a gelled flash behind it. Many thanks to Indi for introducing these panels to me.

The store is packed with Legos from 2015-26 and it's convenient when u need a Minifig or set and not to mention the old vintage sets as well. The workers are rather chill, they're really there just to help you find what you need and go on with their day. The prices on sum of the figures may be a little high but it's understandable when you figure out what the figure goes for and I'd say it's not as bad as other resellers. Overall this store is amazing and I love it because of the over joyed 9 year old me losing his shit over Legos. I enjoyed each second of being in there would recommend

The store is pretty large and has a lot of keychains, plushies, figurines, Gundam Gunpla, and blind boxes (my kryptonite). I got a Nendoroid blind box (!) of Fate Stay Night. These figures are way more expensive than normal blind boxes but Nendoroids are always very high quality so it's fine! I saw a lot of figures that were really cool and I would consider getting them if I had a good display mechanism at my house haha. The only exception is paint, which may need to be specially ordered. If you're looking for high-quality figure models or collectible statues, you'll find some very reasonable prices here. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who loves model building, collectible figures, or creating and painting their own character statues.

I wanted to look into the store and discord channel just to make sure the event was still happening. To my surprise, the discord moderator (presumably store worker) said that all pre-releases were cancelled due to not receiving enough kits and stock. So, not only will plenty of people show for the event without notification that it's cancelled, there seems to be some deeper, shadier things going on. What's interesting to me is that they still kept the Bandai app event for the pre-release open. After I talked to Jacob (presumable store worker) on discord, here's what he said (see picture for screenshot). Why is it that the store didn't receive enough kits and boxes yet they still keep the Bandai event open? And they're still "running" the event even though it's closed. To me, that seems shady. Bandai will see this store as operating a One Piece event, but they really aren't. Are they back dooring product? Are they keeping it for their own resell? We deserve a response because there's been too many shady things happening behind the scenes in the One Piece TCG community.

Yes, there were a lot of awesome figures and statues to see that bring back some nostalgia to when I was kid. However, a lot of the toys both in package, on card, or loose were a bit overpriced. Some figures had horrible sun damage to them seeing as this location is in a warehouse type building. The lady behind the counter wasn't helpful as we walked in and around the front in for about 10-15 minutes before she even said hi. After that she just walked around putting things away and sat behind the counter. Now what's upsetting? My girlfriend found this 3-pack of Shattered Glass Transformers (Evil Dinobots) from SDCC. I clearly asked if I could open them and she said they were new. I didn't like that answer and how snappy she was with me. I kept them in the box until I got my new display case and Lord behold, they're all broken. All 3 figures wastes are popped off and will not plug into the bodies or stay in place, Grimlock's dino head is snapped, the plus to keep Slag's dino head on its body are broken, and some of Snarl's scales are broken. There's no point in keeping them. And I would feel bad, like the owner should feel, if I were to try and sell them off broken to anyone else.

The place looks like it's located within a residential home so it threw me off at first. But there's a sign at the front. The folks here are very friendly and they're very knowledgeable. In terms of value, it's hard to say only because there are a lot of items that are highly collectible in addition to your run of the mill, newer IP's. In my opinion, I feel like the prices are pretty fair, especially since they may have some hard to find pieces that collectors are looking for. I came here with my nephew before we had dinner in the area. He's a big fan of anime and manga and especially things related to Godzilla. He ended up buying a figure. Just a really cool store in a very unexpected non-descript place.
