Honestly, we were not impressed and mostly disappointed. Yes they do takeout at a crazy time like this, which is nice. But I will NOT be getting takeout again and will just hold off on trying this place in person when quarantine is over. We ordered from here for my moms birthday, who is a nurse in the ICU, because she was in the mood for a mushroom and onion turkey burger. She was very let down which made us sad too. Also, they did not have ANY specials for first responders or healthcare workers, unlike most other restaurants, so that was strange. Food- very meh. We got Mahi Mahi tacos, mac n cheese burger, whiskey burger, 2 bulb n shroom Turkey burgers, and a chicken a la vodka sandwich. The tacos were just OK. The beef burgers were ordered medium, one was rare and one was well done. The chicken sandwich looked good in pictures but was pretty dry and not impressive. The biggest disappointment was the bulb n shroom burgers. One ONLY had mushrooms and the other ONLY had onions. They are both supposed to have mushrooms AND onions. This place is a little gem with great outdoor seating upstairs on the back deck. The food was very decent and I enjoyed everything they served. We started with the mussels in red marinara sauce that was served with garlic bread that went well with the sauce. I highly recommend the Bavarian pretzel served with a spicy mustard and cheese wiz. The pretzel was soft and warm and not heavy like most pretzel served at bars. We each had the Blue Burger that was juicy and very tasty with the juices running down my wrist like a proper burger should do. The truffle fries were served cold which was our only complaint, otherwise I highly recommend this joint for a quick bite to eat. read more

Had a great time at the special Restaurant and Street Fair event in Bay Shore on July 26. But what really stood out was the Tap Room. This place had its stuff together in handling the crowds. The food was great, the drinks spectacular and the staff super friendly. Usually, I get nervous in crowds, and many times when they are that big, the staff gets cranky and service gets too slow. I was impressed at how the Tap Room handled it. With all the folks at the bar, I thought I would be overlooked but nope the tenders there moved quickly and made very yummy cocktails. Okay, one was so potent, that I had to ask for ice in it. They made the entire event wonderful with live music and a pretty happy crowd. You go Tap Room. I looked forward to coming here for so long and I'm so glad that I finally did so that I can never again. Upon first walking in the ambience was not great. The drinks were good, service decent, but ALL of the food we ordered was so overly fried it was nearly inedible. The woman's bathroom was worse than any port-a-potty I've ever been in and was literally flooding. Save yourself the trip, go elsewhere. read more

First time eating here and it was really good! The mozzarella sticks were so good, crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. My friend and I shared the buffalo chicken wrap and the grilled chicken avocado wrap! The buffalo was very good. The grilled chicken avocado just needed a bit more dressing. Went with a large group the other day and waited over 2 hours for our food to come out, multiple other tables got their food before us. The server was nice and kept apologizing, but didn't offer us anything in the meantime (we also ordered apps and it didn't come out first or at all, it was actually the last thing to come out & they didn't even take it off the bill). They told us that they were waiting to bring all the food out together and that's why it was taking so long, but then they brought out fries, one taco dish & one quesadilla and we had about 8-9 more dishes we were waiting on (including another order of fries and another of the same taco dish???) Then the waitress told us "at least we got something". I understand we were a big group, and the kitchen gets busy on the weekend but we watched many other tables that came in after us get served first so it was a little off putting. Then at the end we had a $350~ check and the waitress told us we could save $7 if we paid in cash. No other offers for making us wait so long and no other real apology. My husband and I came in on a rainy Monday around 5 for happy hour. There were no seats at the bar but plenty of tables. The space is modern, very open with high ceilings and plenty of TVs at the bar and along the back wall. Our server (Carmen) was GREAT; attentive but not pushy, friendly, personable and helpful. The food was good, reasonably priced, and nice portion sizes. Carmen recommended the Dragon wontons which we LOVED. We also got the fried pickles, sweet potato fries, and chicken Milanese sliders which were all very good. We also got the blackened mahi tacos which we did not really like (chewy and not very flavorful). Literally the best meal I have had in awhile. We ordered take out and it was as good as being there in person. we had wings which were perfectly cooked with a nice crisp crunch to them, the medium heat was perfect, great blue cheese, and lots of celery and carrots. I seriously underestimated this place. I'm not the biggest fan of beer so I was hesitant to try it out but after my trip here I'm happy I was wrong in my assumptions. The food selection was fantastic. I ended up getting the Disco Fries and the Chicken Milanese sliders both were great choices. So this is a Sports Bar that accepts credit cards as payment and is COVID-19 compliant. Parking is available with the town, so be mindful that it's a Pay For Parking service. As you enter, you'll notice that they have outdoor dining available and a second floor for use. But that section was closed off during my visit. They have a stylish interior that's well lit and wooden planks on the wall made of ceramic/porcelain tile. They offer Free WiFi, Multiple Big Screen TV's, Music, about 25 beers on tap with Beer Flight as an option. For about $13 you get to try six, 5 ounce beers, which I highly recommend doing. They have a fairly large and diverse menu of food to select from that includes dessert, which you can preview on their own website in advance. They have plenty of seating here for midsize to large groups of people to attend, with separate restrooms for men and women. The only criticism that I have, is the lack of sports jerseys or memorabilia, which I think every sports bar should have. But my experience was good. This place has a relaxing atmosphere about it and is worth checking out. read more
