They had just a few spots next to the restaurant and they were all full. We ended up parking across the street and played Frogger to get to the restaurant. Lol! The food was great and I did my best to eat sll of the salad because it was just delicious. I like the way they presented refried beans in a small taco salad cup. You get the beans and the crunchy! I moved recently to Alpine and wanted Mexican food. Everything tasted ok at first until I pulled a long black out of my mouth. I couldn't eat another bite and when I mentioned it to the employee working they acted as if I was lying to them about it. How rude. I do not think I would ever go back or recommend this place to anyone, it's worth the drive to go elsewhere . read more

YUM! My family and I love coming here and getting their mixed burritos- they are the BEST! They also have a wonderful salsa bar as well as all-you-can-eat chips included with your meal :) They are very friendly people and always do an excellent job preparing our food. Alpine has many Taco shops, this place is the best for food quality. They may have changed hands, but the recipes are constant over 15 years. Great Shrimp Cocktail, and delicious bean and cheese burrito. I think they use tallow (beef oil) in the beans. read more

The garden at the back is the place to be. Sheltered from the sunlight by a stand of trees, with a light breeze and no road noise, it makes a great space for afternoon tea in summer. The food is excellent, but the macaroons are world famous. read more

They had good chips and good eating with the beans and hot sauce. They ladies at the counter were nice. There's parking right out in front and only inside seating.
