Best burger ever! Was in town for business, found this place using Yelp with more than one person recommending the burgers. Well, they could not have been more accurate! Not exaggerating, perhaps one of the best burgers I've ever had. Perfect size and flavor. Paired with the parmesan fries made a great meal. Staff was extremely friendly, ambiance was great. We were in last night. A group of about 10 of us were in town visiting friends, and went after a movie. The waitress (Sara sue per the receipt) was very aggressive and rude to the point of making it a very uncomfortable experience. Felt verbally assaulted multiple times. I never got a refill on my soda even after asking for one. Nachos were good but easier to eat with a fork than the chips. read more

After a search on Yelp! for a nearby bar to enjoy a nice dinner, this was the top choice. So I gave it a try and was not at all disappointed. They have a great selection of draft beer and if you go during "Happy Hour" before 6pm, it's even better. I was intrigued by their Crowler offer and it's a pretty good deal. Basically a 32 oz "oil can" of beer to go. Whenever I am back in town, I will definitely visit this bar again. Oh, their burgers are really good as well. We stopped here the first night of our trip to Yellowstone from Wisconsin, and I've gotta say, it really set the bar high. The drink selection alone was incredible. An entire wall of whiskey bottles to choose from, and an extensive beer list that tells you where each brew came from. And they make a mean "New" fashioned, which is a fresh take on an old favorite. I got the PBR burger, which was loaded with beer cheese, garlic mayo, jalapeños, and the real star of the evening: DUCK FAT FRIES. I could not get enough of these fries. Thin cut and crispy, they get a generous coating of gamey, earthy, fatty, ducky goodness and are topped off with shredded parmesan cheese. Seriously, words do not do those fries justice. read more

Ate here last night. It's the second time I've been here. Both times the service has been less than ideal. The burger was good. The duck fries tasted stale. It wasn't all that busy but it still took over 10 min to get a beer. I saw lots of food sitting under heat lamps waiting to be served. Kinda surprised because it's a yelp 4.5 star at this point. This is the only restaurant my husband and I come to when we're in town. I left my first review a year ago after eating the BEST burger I had ever had. Now I'm vegetarian and have just had the BEST veggie burger ever! The waitress was amazing and allowed me to combine the fixings of the mushroom burger, without the meat, and put it all on the veggie burger. TapHouse has the best burgers in Sioux Falls. Hands down. If you go, you've got to try the Meltdown burger. It's on rye bread and is served with delicious beer cheese dipping sauce. Seriously amazing. But you can't go wrong with their other menu items. I've also had the Q burger, which is their take on a BBQ bacon burger with fried onion strings. Their duck fat fries (flavorful and skinny) or whiskey onion rings are great sides. Go there! You won't regret it! read more

Visiting from out of town and found this using Yelp, and I feel like this is the first time I've been let down by yelpers. The beer was the best thing at the restaurant with a great selection including several local options. We tried a few different burgers/sandwiches--the Deluxe, the Deluxe with cheese and bacon and added extras, and the Big Dipper. Their burgers were fine though a bit greasy. The cheese that came with the Big Dipper was inedible--the texture was gritty, and it was was also not warm. We also ordered dill pickle fries and duck fat fries. The dill fries were the best thing we ate. The duck fries were thin and crisp and sprinkled with Parmesan but they came out lukewarm at best. They had the potential to be great but totally fell short. Overall, everything was under seasoned and totally underwhelming. The restaurant was not very busy at the time either. read more

Been in the Midwest for a week and not a steak so far... so we had to fix that, pronto! Had a mid size prime rib with fresh horseradish and a nice salad bar for $20; sure hit the spot! Beer cheese soup, crispy croutons an added touch. Our large group (12) were accommodated easily in the sports bar area and we had fun with a great waitress. Group had a range of dinners from burgers to prime rib sandwich to the pasta bar. Everyone seemed to enjoy their selection and although we all thought we had room for dessert, we did not, as portions were "just right". Only scraps left on plates and not a doggie bag...proper portioning is a good thing! We're here for another 3 days and just might be back. read more

We love TapHouse! We've been here several times and the service is always A+. Each time we come the beer list is full of beers I'm unfamiliar with - instead of being impatient or leaving me to decipher them by myself, they ask "what kind of beers do you like?" And then let me taste ones they think would be similar to my favorites. Other than the outstanding service, the food is awesome! Highly recommend the dill pickle fries, they're our favorite to grab with our beers! Perfect for the 21+ers for a calm night. read more

This place was perfect. The duck fries, brussel sprouts and wings were amazing starters. Proceeding the wings we ordered the chicken club which had so much flavor. I really enjoyed the food. The beer was amazing too! There are so many types to choose from and if you fall in love with a beer they have a way to send you home with it! Along with the amazing selection of food and beer, the staff was amazing. Each employee was very helpful and eager to make us have a good time. I would recommend this place 10000%!
