Craft was recommended to me by a friend, but I still checked with references and got honest feedback from their past clients. Fortunately, Craft delivered in every way. I would highly recommend them to others without ANY hesitation. Our project required architectural plans and structural engineering as we needed to remove walls. The timeline Craft gave us was adhered to and weekly communication kept us apprised of what work would be done each week. The crew was highly skilled, friendly, and clean. Since we were still living in the home during the remodel, we appreciated the crew's cleanliness and accommodations. Lot of flakey people out there, and pricing was all over the map. David Perry was referred to me by a work colleague. I contacted him, and was impressed to have him answer his phone. He has a friendly and professional demeanor. We hired him for a simple room remodel (converting dining room into an office.) David was juggling a few jobs in conjunction with ours, however he still made us feel like a prioroity. He always answers his cell phone, and in the off-chance he didn't, he'd call back within minutes. This is important to me. He would call in the morning with an update as to what would be happening, who would be coming over, when they'd be arriving, and what they'd be doing. David was thoughtful regarding work in our home. He would do all the cutting outside as to minimize dust and debris within the home. Every day the team would clean up as much as possible as not to disrupt our lives. David facilitated framing, drywall, painting, door hanging, etc. The project was done in a timely manner, and I would refer him to anyone! He apparently has a vast repertoire, and we look forward to using him again soon.

Although there was some delay and miscommunication between the two companies, EP never abandoned the project and found ways to satisfy the requirements of US. Also, when there was concern about rain accumulation from the result of the cover creating a gap between the roof and the cover, EP came over and came up with a solution that we hope works come winter. They are responsive, personable and accommodating.

The job was completed in a fraction of the time I expected and quality of the work without fault. Tony was actively involved and listened and responded carefully to any of my questions. I feel bad writing this, but I do want to give people a heads up regarding Mike. We hired Mike to…read morecome in and do some significant work (whole house electrical upgrade, move some walls, and remodel bathrooms) back in 2014. While his initial quote was good, we got hit up for change order after change order. Now, it is an older house, so unexpected things come up, but these change orders went well above the percentage that most people say to keep in reserve for contingencies, and it wasn't even because we were asking for things outside of our initial scope. In addition to that, the work just didn't get completed timely. It got to the point where we finally cut our losses, severed ties with Mike, and moved on with another contractor. I think this was a case where for whatever reason Mike got overwhelmed and couldn't get the job done. The person who referred us to him said he had never seen this happen before on any of Mike's other jobs, but I do think Mike specializes more in decks/seismic retrofits, so I'd consider going with someone else if you're doing a larger scale project. To Mike's credit, the work that was done was done well. The contractor that came in to finish off the work didn't have to do any major rework. Additionally, he still responded to texts/picked up the phone to answer one-off questions after we moved onto another contractor.
