EP worked alongside United Solar to construct a patio cover that allowed solar panels to be installed atop the patio cover so that the panels were not placed on our roof. Although there was some delay and miscommunication between the two companies, EP never abandoned the project and found ways to satisfy the requirements of US. Also, when there was concern about rain accumulation from the result of the cover creating a gap between the roof and the cover, EP came over and came up with a solution that we hope works come winter. We love our Louvretec patio by Exterior Perfections. Max and his team are amazing. He was very easy to communicate with and his team was very hard working. Our 20 x 30 Louvretec patio was up in a week! To be honest, it was a long road getting to our patio. We had a competing Louvretec installer install our initial patio. During a storm, it leaked everywhere, blew up and down and disconnected from parts of the roof, and ALL the electrical wiring shorted. There were many construction flaws, and the other company's wouldn't admit fault, actually stating it was "some of our best work." They didn't want to fix it properly. So we called out Exterior Perfections to evaluate. We are so happy we did because Max's team is the best. Now I have a patio that is not only functional and beautiful, but SAFE! I reached out to Exterior Perfections for a retractable awning several months ago and all in all the experience was really solid. Even though retractable awnings aren't their main specialty they made the choice of picking a model, color scheme, fabric and features painless. The sales reps were easy to work with as was their head office. They head office worked with me on a few issues, namely the size that was ordered was wrong but they were quick to correct that without any issue. They also worked with us when the exact customization options weren't able to come on the model we ordered (namely a set of extra lights). All of this was painless thankfully. Once the product was delivered Slavik coordinated via text about the install days. He was very quick to respond (at all hours of the day/night no less!) and was very polite with my somewhat difficult to schedule around schedules. On the install day, Daniel and his team came out in the freezing cold rain and did a fantastic job with the installation. There was an end cap piece that broke during shipping that they had already ordered a replacement for by the time I was informed, walked me through the controls of the awning and confirmed with me that everything was to my liking. It looks great and functions properly; my wife and I couldn't be happier. Oh also Briceida is super nice and very polite and easy to work with over the phone for payments and such. Our sun room was completed and I could not be happier. It's large spacious. It's very windy at the base of the mountains where we live plus we've had tons of thunderstorms. It has stood up wonderfully. We're empty nesters and our cats love our sunroom and spending rime with us. We have a bar outside if the kitchen window which us ideal for serving tood and drinks. We have also created a couple of little reading nooks. Had a Christmas party for my staff and we spent the time out playing games in the sunroom and also eating Christmas dinner. It was fantastic. Our grown kids come and stay with us and even though we have offices and desks for them to work at in the house, they spent the entire week in the sunroom with their laptops working from home. My review was premature. There were three aspects to the job: patio covers, decks, and solar. Patio covers and decks have been completed. However, solar is still outstanding since August. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've communicated with the Exterior Perfections team on multiple occasions with no substantive response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] These include in person and email communications on 9/9; 9/17; 10/8; 10/16; 10/28; 11/4; 11/5; and 11/13.
