Although there was some delay and miscommunication between the two companies, EP never abandoned the project and found ways to satisfy the requirements of US. Also, when there was concern about rain accumulation from the result of the cover creating a gap between the roof and the cover, EP came over and came up with a solution that we hope works come winter. They are responsive, personable and accommodating.

They are great in the winter, to keep the rain away from the windows, and the house nice and cosy, and in the summer to keep the hot summer from shinining into the rooms. Makes a huge difference. They are not cheap, but that's because they manufacture and install their own high quality shades, with no middleman. The 5% black shade we had installed has made a HUGE difference in our giant south facing living room window. We previously had a blackout curtain on the inside, but our double paned window glass was still hot to the touch on the inside. The solar shade has completely stopped all of that heat transfer, and our air conditioning has started turning on literally hours later as a result. The solar shade has also made TV watching possible all day long without needing to close the blackout curtains. The best part is we haven't lost our beautiful view when the shade is down. I had been concerned about the pond getting too much sun and also wanted to add some protection from flying predators. While certainly not inexpensive, I feel the shade sail is worth every penny. Once the shade sail was up, I couldn't get over the difference it made to the look of the pond, not to mention the fact that it cuts 90% of the hot afternoon sun that used to stream through my living room windows, which overlook the pond - just great!! When we replaced our front door, Clear View removed and replaced the screen for a reasonable price. Lately, the screen had been acting up, and unfortunately, I pulled it all the way out. Larissa, was helpful in setting up a time for a Technician to arrive to fix the screen for a reasonable price. Sean, had the curtsey to call me to give a time for his arrival. Sean replaced a spring and we were good as new. I read a review question about a pet being able to go under the closed screen. Our screen has a slide lock on top and bottom to keep the screen from opening if pushed by one of our pet cats. To avoid our cats from going under the screen, I purchased an adjustable screen used for sash windows. I just open the sash screen to the width of the front door to avoid our cats from going under the screen.
