I am extremely disappointed with the environment this TCG shop allows. A gaming store should be a place where players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy the hobby, learn, and have fun. Instead, what I witnessed was a toxic atmosphere where bullying and harassment appeared to be tolerated.There is an individual named Matt who, from what I observed and heard from others, repeatedly belittles and embarrasses another player simply because of the deck they choose to play. It goes beyond normal competitive banter. The behavior included yelling, mocking, and encouraging others to stop playing with that person. Watching a group of people gang up on a single player was uncomfortable and completely against the spirit of any gaming community. What is even more concerning is that the store seemed willing to allow this behavior to continue. A business that hosts tournaments and community events has a responsibility to ensure that all customers feel welcome and respected. Allowing an adult to repeatedly bully another player sends the message that intimidation and harassment are acceptable.No player should be made to feel excluded, humiliated, or targeted for simply playing a legal deck in a card game. If this is the type of environment the store supports, then it is not a community I would recommend to others. The staff should take these issues seriously and create a more respectful atmosphere for everyone who walks through the door. I have video of what occurred and intend to share it publicly so that others can see the situation for themselves and form their own opinions. Service on the phone is terrible super rude I called them over the phone to ask them a couple questions and after my first question he just says "gotta go" and hangs up the phone. Not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews; it's literally the best gaming store in SCV. I've been to a couple others locally, but none compare to the customer service and community I've experienced here. They're super nice and have a large selection of cards, playmats, sleeves and deck boxes. I'd say prices are fair. Not as cheap as online, but I'm paying extra to support a local brick and mortar, plus I don't have to wait for shipping. Win-win! Came to a tournament hosted here. The staff was great and the games were well run and organized. The store was clean and very well organized, and it seemed like they had a good variety of product. I was especially impressed that they had multiple bathrooms AND separate womens' and mens' restrooms! (4 total, 2 each). To me, this felt like they are welcoming to everyone, since oftentimes females are a little less likely to be at a game store. Extra bonus, they have the cutest and sweetest little puppy...she is so gentle and my 5 year old who is scared of dogs had a wonderful time petting her! read more

This place is honestly wonderful. I've been going here for years but haven't had the time to write a review so here goes! Everyone here makes sure you're taken of no matter what. I don't know the first thing about today's games, however my 14-year-old son is an expert (or so he says). I brought him to Tapped Out Gaming after reading the positive reviews on Yelp, and we have been coming for Friday Night Magic there ever since. The employees are very patient, straightforward and honest. They allow him to ask as many questions as he wants to, and they often geek out discussing the different cards and playing strategies. They hold several different types of Magic tournaments, and it is clear to me they genuinely enjoy what they do and aren't in business to take advantage of their customers. While it isn't the most attractive shop I've ever been in (it is in fact, rather plain), they know their stuff, provide a nice gaming environment, and we are happy to give them our business. read more

I believe tapped out is the single best destination for Magic in all of Santa Clarita. The staff is well versed in the game, and always willing to go above and beyond to help you understand the rules, build decks, and make recommendations on things that may be useful to you. Unlike other game stores, The owners are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and seem to avoid the classic pitfalls of nerd-dom like sexism and bigotry that can pervade the community. The interior is a little spartan, but it leaves more room to get more players into the store and into the game, which is always good. The atmosphere is casual and fun, with the elitism that can be found in other game stores left at the door. I can't say enough as to the quality, knowledgeability, and accessibility of the staff and merchandise. That being said, the bathrooms are a god-damned war crime. This is more due to the customers than the owners, I imagine, but something needs to be done. The customers (mostly males, from what I have seen) all use the women's bathroom because it is the closest one in the hallway. They rarely flush, and I don't think I have ever heard a sink being used. It is all around pretty gross in there. If I had to do my biological business here, I think I would take my chances outside. Overall, if you want to play magic or talk shop with the knowledgeable and friendly players and staff, Tapped Out is the go-to destination in Santa Clarita, worth the drive even from canyon country. Good selection of singles but completely took the fun out of the war of the spark pre release for me. As a returning player to magic I was excited and stayed up til midnight excited to buy a pre release set and a booster boxes and when I arrived they wouldn't sell me either because I didn't want to play at midnight in their event. Booster boxes apparently sold out and refused to sell me a release kit without playing which makes no sense. I didn't really want to learn how to play at midnight and if you don't want the new customer and couple hundred in sales (I was going to buy multiple booster boxes, a release kit and some other singles) fine with me. Not to mention I was in a few days prior asking about events and no one asked, mentioned, or told me to sign up and or pre-order anything. So a total waste of my night and excitement, and will definitely take my purchases to a more accommodating store in the area. Update: Luna the owner reach out and was very accommodating and wonderful and really cares about their customers and really helped make the situation and experience great! It's hard to find great customer service and people who really care and Luna really does. I would definitely recommend this shop! read more

I come here for their smash bros weekly tournaments and they're always a blast. I much prefer coming here every Sunday to play than I do nights out at a bar. The community here is friendly and supportive and the owner is incredibly nice! The atmosphere has a vibe where you feel you've known the community forever. You can ask players questions about just about anything they're always happy to help. Tournaments are well organized and relaxed compared to others I have attended. Whether you are looking for sealed product, or that last card for your EDH deck,, the staff of Tapped Out will be more than happy to help you out. They also host regular events throughout the week. Wednesday Drafts and Friday Night Magic have been standing events, but it looks like they try to accommodate all different styles on the other days, shifting the types of events each month. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all things MTG. I went into the shop for the first time knowing nothing about the game and they were able to help me get started with my own deck and begin my addiction to a great game. After playing MTG for 12 years when it first came out, I am returning to it after an 8 year hiatus. Imagine my delight to find this store 5 to 10 mins from where I live in Castaic. They have a great selection of cards for sale, of course boosters and many large tables in the back to play on. They are open late, host Friday Night Magic and other tournaments usually at least one or more a week. The staff is knowledgable and friendly and don't seem to mind answering a ton of questions I have about the new cards and rule changes since I used to play. They welcome new and old players along with the people that hang out and play there, it makes for a very fun experience. If you live in the area or close come down and bring your cards and your game face, have some fun. 5 star rating, not least deserved by the fact that they concentrate 95% on MTG...
