Very small selection of cards. The store felt almost empty. They had some etbs that were very overpriced for what the market is currently selling them for. Great customer service. Not a huge selection of pokemon cards, but they did have some and new products to purchase. Reasonable prices, not the best, but within range of market prices. We were there looking for soccer cards which unfortunately wasn't their sport. Box & packs selection was limited and singles was pretty much non-existent. read more

Tim was very helpful in my new interest of NFL trading cards. He showed me all the possible brands with the different types of packaging with different types of price ranges. I decided to open up 4 different brand type singles. I got a few players I wanted to get. There are different items ranging from Pokemon to other sports cards. This card shop has existed for forty years. I would know as my Grandmother took me here when I was young. Today was the greatest experience I've ever had at any baseball card shop (young or old) as my Son left with a lifetime memory. I don't know if there is a greater joy as a father than to see such excitement in their son. My boy and I have been coming to this shop regularly for several years now. Whether it Mike or Tim or any of the various gentlemen working there, Stevie Jr is always treated so well. He laughs and le learns and is treated with such generosity. I really cannot articular what a great experience today was but strongly encourage parents to being their littles to this shop! That one star review about the open boxes is simply not true. A shill quite obviously. That guy has exactly two Yelp reviews one a five star for a Starbucks. The other shill negative has only one Yelp review, give me a break. They create entire team sets from the hobby packs and sell the hobby pack fillers on the side. I know for a fact that their store assembled team packs are not pruned for SP's or parallels because I got a SP from a Dodgers set and a parallel from an Angels set. I also bought six fat pack hobby packs from an open box and got the expected level of good bonus material including a 1 of 25 Boston Price signed world series card and the Kershaw relic card. read more

I never post reviews but after my visit I had to. I can't attest to the sport card prices but to the pokemon side of things they are all scalper prices. Some were even more than scalper prices they were 4x the amount! I try to buy cards from these smaller shops to support and I know I will sometimes have to pay a little more but not 2-4x the amount as other shops. Defiantly not coming back here ever again. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. I was asking questions about the difference between possible hits in a few football hobby boxes for my son's birthday present. The employee (I hope it wasn't the owner) asked me if I was actually going to go to buy something or am I going to keep wasting his time. I have collected baseball and football cards since I was 11yrs old, I am 43 now with 2 little ones. I've seen so many card stores, and in multiple states. I found this store 6 yrs ago trying to get my son started. When we walked in, it was a blast from the past for me and I was glad to have that experience with my son. Since, I/we have been in several times (even though you can shop on line) just because theres a feel when buying cards. The shop guys have never, ever, been rude to us and instead always friendly and talkative - even with multiple customers there. My only complaint would be is the store is small and maybe could include a consignment/auction board - but otherwise it's what a card shop should be! read more

BEWARE!! Don't buy packs from opened boxes from this guy. Was is in the area so decided to walk in to support local card shop. Older gentleman greeted me as I walked in. He was a little busy, but he let me know he would be right with me in a second. I wasn't really looking for anything specific so I told him to take his time as I looked around. I didn't know what he was doing at first, but I could hear packs being opened at a rapid pace. My curiosity led me towards him. In fact he was opening packs - 2018-19 hockey series 2 upper deck. He wasn't opening them to see what was in them though. At the rate he was ripping them, there's no possible way he could. He had about a dozen empty tin boxes already opened. I asked him what exactly was he doing. he said he was looking for inserts and young guns. Young guns are a hockey rookie card. They are valued cards. Hockey doesn't make much product so a young gun is a great card to get. I also noticed he was separating packs. I didn't think anything of it. A few minutes after I came in, more customers also walked in, he stopped what he was doing and now had to tend to his customers. We talked more about hockey and some valuable young guns out of the 2018-19 series 1 upper deck. We specially talked about Elias Pettersson. He said he had already sold 5 of them from the packs he opened for 150.00 a piece. Getting 5 Young guns of the same player would normally seem very hard to do. Given that you only randomly get 6 rookies in a box (1 out of every 4 packs) there are 12 boxes in a case. Upper deck is pretty standard with their packs. I know because I myself had already ripped open 2 hobby boxes 2 retail boxes a tin box and over half a dozen blaster boxes of the upper deck series 1 and sure enough, like clock work, I always got the amount of rookies they guaranteed me(side note I never got one Elias Pettersson and only got 1 double) so You get 72 rookies in a case. In order to pull 5 young guns of one player you would statistically need to open at the very least 4 cases(48 boxes) I guess that's statistically doable and given how fast he was ripping packs earlier when I walked in, he could definitely physically do it as well, but financially it doesn't make sense. Even if he got the UD boxes at $480 per case($40 per box) 4 cases would run around $2,000 and given that the top card went for $150 that couldn't make any sense. Which leaves me to why I'm writing this, I decided to buy some series 1 hockey upper deck retail packs. 10 at 3per pack. (What I thought the last of his packs) I came home and ripped them up. I thought the very least I could do is maybe get 2 young guns. I ripped them very quick. If you've ever opened hockey upper deck, you know that it's easy to spot if you've got a young gun. One after the other, not one young gun. It reminded me how the man was opening his packs rapidly, only I wasn't separating my young guns, because I didn't get any. Upper deck is not a hits driven product so all packs are the same size so they couldn't have been felt up so statistically that would be very hard to do. To randomly pull 6 young guns out of 14 packs(there are 24 packs in a box and there were only 10 left which I bought) would be very unlikely as well. What is more likely is that the retail packs were pre selected (maybe from a previous opened tin box of series 1 that had all the young guns pulled already.) I thought it was odd that he was separating his packs when I saw him ripping the series 2 UD 2018 but now it makes sense. For him it seems like a win win. Pull all the young guns and than push remaining packs on to customers. It's a scam. Warning do not buy loose series 2 upper deck hockey 2018-19 and as for me I will never buy anything from this guy again. (I also bought an unopened box of basketball panini 2013-14 from him that I'm hoping is not tampered with) read more

Was skeptical because there are 2 partners that now own it and it's been as good as it ever has. Tim and mike are hands down the coolest guys in town. I feel like I go there just to talk to Timmy more than I need cards. Lol they usually have a lot on stock unless I'm buying it all but prices are good, the people are good and the selection is good. One of the best places to buy hobby. Nice selection with the main sports even with cards going back to the 80's and to 2013. Mike and Chuck are friendly and give good prices, and i recommend to have cash so you can get better deals. They may be a bit more than those online but they have costs and rent and have to make money so i understand and you get it without waiting for them to be shipped to you.
