Super vibey pub in downtown clawson! Plenty of TVs, tables and booth seating, and a full bar. Our server Kiki was great! She was very lively and attentive--filling waters before they were empty, making sure we had everything we needed, and joking around with us. The burger was seasoned very well and the bacon was thick cut. The crispy fries were great and it paired perfectly with their spicy ketchup. I really enjoyed the Guinness stew. It had plenty of tender beef chunks, veggies and a heaping spoonful of delicious mash on top. There's plenty of the menu to choose from and I can't wait to go back to try some of the classics!

I was really disappointed with my order. The salad I received was incredibly sad-looking -- barely any toppings, wilted greens, and definitely not worth the price. On top of that, the two sides of dressing I paid for were completely missing. A salad without dressing is basically useless, and it ruined the entire meal. For the cost, I expected something fresh and complete, not a half-hearted meal missing items. I won't be ordering from here again unless the quality improves. Additionally, when I called they said I could come pick up the dressing they forgot. Nothing else they can do. Won't be back

Their live music isn't always on time and their bartender just charged me full Prices on a beer and appetizer instead of happy hour pieces after 9pm on a Wednesday . This place is only worth going to during happy hour anyways

I visited Gus' yesterday for lunch and am pleased to share a glowing review. The service was wonderful, the food was tasty (& came out fast), the atmosphere was festive (decorated for Christmas), and it was all around a great experience! I can't believe I've waited this long to try it - I will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem in Clawson!

Small restaurant, friendly staff - our waitress was pretty attentive and food was okay. Ruben with turkey was slightly soggy on the bottom, salad was yummy, fish & chips were good and the slider special was also good. Not pictured pretzels and cheese (cheese was gross and had a waxy consistency) and spinach artichoke dip (nice size, crunchy chips, and good cheese pull)

Love this place & so much on the menu I want to go back and try! We visited early on St Patty's Sunday and had fabulous service and fab food- I also love that the cocktail list is so fun and Interesting

I ordered door dash so it would probably be amazing at the restaurant. I loved the calamari and peppers. They give you so much corned beef on the sandwich. I wish i could have asked for a side of sauce because it was pretty dry.

Fish and Chips, crispy and tasty.

I enjoyed it. Sat at the bar, had a guiness, some Spinach Artichoke dip and an order of Fish and Chips. Food was good, not amazing, but good. Ambiance and service were good (although sitting at the bar makes service easier). Fair pricing, and nice people. Definitely recommend if in the area and looking for a pub.

Burger was missing some ingredients listed in the menu description. OK but not great. I wish an Irish bar around here would have popular Irish dishes like a spice bag, sausage rolls, an all-day Irish breakfast or even an old- fashioned, bog standard Irish summer salad. If it's an Irish bar have some Irish food not the same menu as every other bar. I'd pay good money for an Irish Sunday roast in the winter. Having heard good things about their Burgers I opted to go with their Classic Cheeseburger and fries for $15 and two of their house margarita's which were the drink of the day on Tuesdays for $5 apiece. Realtive to the burger, it was quite large at 1/2 lb and definately a two hander. It was well made, quite juicy, with fresh veggies and very very tasty. The fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and quite tasty in their own right. Lastly my two Margarita's very well made and oh so good where I had only planned on getting one but opted for two after the first sip. NICE! At $5 a piece this was an absolute steal! Relative to facility and staff, the restaurant is visually very appealing with vibrant Irish accents, neon sign's everywhere and TV's scattered to allow you to watch the big game of the day while enjoying your meal. The decor defiantely adds a lot to the dining experience. Staff was very friendly with great follow up throughout. Overall this is a great bar/restaurant whose reputation is well deserved. I definately will be returning in the near future, probably on a Tuesday, so I can get some more of those tasty margarita's. :)

The restaurant had been closed for the entire week after the July 4 holiday, yet Kevin O'Mara and his team opened on Saturday just to host our family and friends. That level of hospitality meant a great deal during a difficult time. We chose the wild-caught walleye over the prime rib, and it was the right decision. Lightly breaded and seasoned just enough to let the fish speak for itself, it was excellent. The whiskey sauce bread pudding was memorable, and even the coleslaw stood out with a unique flavor that had everyone asking what was in it. What impressed me most, though, was how much the restaurant has evolved. We had eaten here six or seven years ago and left feeling the family-style meals lacked creativity. This visit was a completely different experience. You can tell Kevin has thoughtfully reinvented the menu, emphasizing wild-caught and organic ingredients, avoiding unnecessary additives, and preparing everything with care. The staff was attentive, Kevin was an exceptional host, and every detail helped make an emotional day easier for our family. Five stars. Highly recommended.
