This was such a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and the food was amazing. If you're able to ignore the flies, you'll have an amazing experience. Service is quick, food comes out quick. The workers understand little English but there's a menu on the wall and pointing/counting on your fingers works just fine. Prices are in pesos but they take USD. If you don't have a big appetite, then I would recommend just ordering the taco. The Quesadillas w/ Carne is exactly the same but with cheese and larger. If you want cheese in your taco, then order the Chihuahueno. The meat was great, full of flavor, not dry/tough but the best part for me was the tortilla. I don't really know how to describe it but it just tasted fresh? Each table is also given a plate of limes, radish, and jalapeños. Be careful of the jalapeños! Those are insanely spicy and I was dying after one bite.

Very friendly staff and my waiter spoke perfect English. The prices are fantastic. I got an Asada burrito which was open faced and more like a big taco, it was good with quality ingredients but the Asada was fairly bland without much seasoning. I loved the grilled jalapeños that came with the meal and the hot sauce was decent, but I'm bummed they didn't have any other hot sauce options.

Let's be honest with one another for a moment...I don't want to share this with you. I do not want to post how great this alley hidden locals only taqueria truly is. I do not want to tell you that if you can find it hidden off the main drag on the outskirts of Rosarito than your tastebuds are in for a hookup they didn't expect. I won't tell you that the freshly harvested meats are cooked over a hardwood fire just before they are chopped onto hand beaten tortillas. I certainly would not tell you that the flavors vs. cost has you running to the ATM for another few thousands peso's just to keep eating tacos, quesadillas, and burritos as the top button of your stretchy pant jeans pops open again. I could not bring myself to telling you that the fresh made guac, taste bursting but not overly spicy fresh chopped veggies, tortilla, and meat combination is worth me bringing a car load of friends south of the border, paying a $3 toll, and a multi-hour wait crossing back into San Diego, worth it. I certainly, would, not. However,,, there is a pretty good taco shop on the beach just down the road that I will help you find.

This place is so delicious I recommend to eat here. Very good service and outstanding workers. I recommend the vegetarian quesadilla, that's personally my favorite plate there. Love this place and will definitely comeback.

T2000. What can one say but..."One more taco perronnes (FLOUR) please". Using a wood fired grill this place pumps out knockout tacos with all the 'fixins'. When your pocho Spanish is met with a home grown transplant named Marcos from Huntington Beach, CA who without missing a step explains the options to you in the President's English (any President--you pick) you dont feel so culturally deficient. I digress. One MUST order the Taco (s) Perronnes con Todos and then wait for a regional taco masterpiece to appear in front of you. Since watching my waist has never been my specialty I was able to sample the flour and corn. With that said...Flour Taco! The Salsa Roja was tangy and spicy with a medium heat. The cilantro was fresh and the limes were tasty and juicy. The seared serranos apparently fell from a tree in one of the 13 alleged Aztec heavens-right into my burning mouth. The guacamole was just the right texture and seemed to somehow perfectly blend with the asada. The tortillas were...well....homemade. Nuff said. So...Don your mask, put a coat on and drive there immediately and order your tacos to go!!! If your Spanish is bad then look for Marcos from Huntington Beach...He'll walk you through it. He's the man.

Our friend was visiting Rosario and on his way back to San Diego bought us all lunch at this place. Drove all the food to us at work. Awesome.

Yelp keeps asking me to review it, Gladly!…read more I can imagine this place was one of those who used to be "a hole in the wall" that executed well and has garnered so much following along the way. the service is simple and efficient. the MEATS are well seasoned! We had the carne asada burritos, so good! My kids actually requested me to buy some meat from them to make some carne quesadilla for breakfast. This place will definitely be a pit stop every time we're in Rosarito.

By far with some of the most reasonable prices to the size and portions. I usually start with a tip for the taquero before I order. We indulged in carne asada (6) this time with 1 suadero, 1 cabesa and 1 adobado also known as al pastor The winner most definitely was the carne asada. With the winner, winner being the quesataco asada. They add cilantro, onions, guacamole and your chile of choice. We always opt for the HOTTER option they call the birria chile which is a darker red color. They bring you slices of limes, cucumbers and radishes. Parking is right in front with a security guiding traffic. They are open super late and have two on the main road. We often prefer the one closer to all the night life and action because it's larger. They recently remodeled their bathrooms so they are CLEAN and usable. Yay!

I ordered the Shrimp Zareandado plate. Servings are large and food was very tasty. I had a lot of leftovers to take home. Only issue I had was that red onions they place under the shrimp had too much habanero and was way too spicy for me. I love spicy but it was overkill. So next time I will request plain red onions. Otherwise my food was delicious. Review 5/31 We stopped in to grab a quick bite before heading home and like always food and service was great. We were seated immediately. My Hubby ordered his favorite Taco with salmon, cheese, caramelizes onion and shrimp and avocado and chipotle sauce. I had the Tito California taco it is a taco dorado with a chili California, cheese and marlin inside the chili, carmelized onions and shrimp avocado and chipotle sauce. So tasty and great flavor with every bite. It is a meal in itself. Love every bite

We all had the fish tacos and they are the biggest fish tacos I've ever seen. They had 4 pieces of fried fish and all the trimmings. Honestly, each one of these ta os are a meal in its self. That's all we had this time, but they were great and very affordable. Give them a try I'm sure you'll not regret it!
