El servicio pésimo. Mi papá es chofer de tráiler. Hace un par de días por la mañana paró en una de las pocas gasolineras donde pueden parar camiones grandes. Compró su café y quiso ir a este restaurante que frecuentamos al menos una vez al mes desde el 2009. Con su café en mano, entró al establecimiento para desayunar y no le quisieron servir porque "tenía que tirar su café y ordenar bebida del establecimiento". Entiendo completamente si hay algún letrero de esto en cualquier parte de este lugar pero no. Repito, llevamos años comiendo en este lugar simplemente porque nos queda de paso, pero nunca se nos había echo algo así. This place has become my favorite ever since my coworker bought these tacos to work. The restaurant is small and quaint. I came in with my boyfriend and was greeted at the counter by a lady. I wasnt sure if we sat down and ordered or ordered at the counter because the 2 other waitresses just looked at us and then walked in the back or to their tables. So they do take orders at the table if you want to eat in. If you want to order to go then order at the counter. I got 4 tacos- 2 chicken breast and 2 al pastor with a bag of chips and salsa. My boyfriend got 2 al pastor, 1 fajita and 2 barbacoa tacos. The al pastor was so delicious with the charred ends and the marinade. The chicken was moist and the tacos were stuffed with meat. Their crema verde is delicious with a nice kick of heat. The red salsa isnt spicy at all but very aromatic with tomatoes and chilantro and onion. The food came out quite quickly which was nice! Service was good too! I would definitely come back for more tacos and recomend this place for anyone who wants authentic tacos! Great for family or groups of friends to hang out and eat. You have that great hispanic music to enjoy or TVs with sports on it. read more

This little corner restaurant in an isolated stripmall doesn't look like much, but it sure serves a lot! I'm so happy we happened upon this hole-in-the-wall! Added bonus, it's open late too. The portions are Texas size, the food is authentic, the menu is well priced and has options for everyone. Service is excellent and there's plenty of seats inside for your group, or even if you want to sit solo. read more

I ordered the tex mex dinner and could not eat most of it. Very chewy meat....very chewy!!! Real fatty and a small bone in my meat...ugh

I only gave a 4 bc our batch was not pipe hot just Luke warm but I think the need to go back to the Styrofoam container. Anyway this dish was soo good. Served with choice of tortillas flour or corn or tostadas. Cabbage onion cilantro and asked for radish. Oh limes. Customer service very nice and polite. Will definitely return. read more

I'm still trying out the lunch spots around my new work location. I ate here last month and was very pleased by it. I had wonderful nachos, and the green sauce is nice and spicy. I was planning to go to my other Mex place today but was driving by here and had that sudden craving for nachos. The chips and the green sauce were still very good, and I like how much sour cream they give you. But the beef topping was really poor -- very fatty and chewy , and I gave up eating it. If it were priced like a hole in the wall, I wouldn't complain. But they're priced higher than some of the nice spots we go to in SE Houston. Maybe I'll try them again, ... but only if I'm part of a group going there. And then, I don't think I'll order the nachos again. read more

So came here today wile waiting on my truck to get it it's toolboxes on over at discount hitch this was the closest place to walk in grab a bite to eat recommended by my sales person over there Service was friendly didn't seem to speak English very well but that's OK. I got their seafood soup and the bread that came with it were great at the number five as for the soup probably about 2.5 but when I added lots of hot sauce to it that flavored it on up to 3.5 stars for the overall rating of 4. As for the strip center it is in pretty sketchy lots of businesses you wouldn't necessarily call family-friendly. And definitely would not want to come back there at night. But as for lunch pretty good place to visit when in the area. Ps oh ya it was cheap I spent just under 20 bucks for the two of us. read more

So this little restaurant in my neighborhood is totally awesome the burritos filling the quesadilla is good and my wife and daughter have fallen in love with the seafood soup so if you find yourself over here on the northside definitely stop here for lunch or dinner read more

This place has saved my life many a time I've been stuck out here without breakfast/lunch/dinner. I work on the northside and the only options are mainly fast food joints or Luby's. El Dorado is right around the corner and the counter girl who is always there, is efficient and courteous. The food is cheap and comparable to Ruchi's or Taqueria Tapatia, before I quit them and now just go to Ruchi's--but that's a whole 'nother review. The huevos con papas breakfast tacos have nicely seared (if that's possible..maybe it's the grill grease?), generous portions of scrambled eggs and potatoes. Just two of these in a flour tortilla and you are set for the morning. Another El Dorado standard for me are the shrimp quesadillas in corn tortillas: grilled shrimp encased in a gooey white cheese, the tortilla edges rendered just slightly crispy from the grill. I top the quesadillas, and practically anything I get from here with the green salsa. It appears to be made with tomatillos and avocado, is smooth and creamy and will make you break out in a sweat, it's so spicy. Good food and good value from da northside. read more

I've lowered my rating, as, I think that a dive (sorry, but it's a dive) joint with good food should be cheap. They've raised their prices, for no good reason.
