Can only speak on the tacos, but my friend said it best: "It scratched the itch but not enough." $8 tacos was less than $20. Of the four meats I tried, chicken was the best. Everything else was mid (Asada/Steak, Borrego/Lamb, Cabeza).

Location / Exterior In a small strip mall. Free parking but somewhat limited. Parking lot full of potholes and puddles - so be careful. I was surprised to discover that this is a chain and they have 3 locations - Smyrna on South Cobb Drive (this one), Smyrna on Cobb Pkwy (across from Best Buy) and Kennesaw on Cobb Pkwy. Interior Clean, bright, well-lit. Price / Value Seemed to be priced comparably to local spots like this. Customer Service Ok. Cashier didn't speak a lot of English - which is fine. But there was no friendly greeting. No smile. Very bland. Very dry. I think it might be cultural because I notice a lot of Mexican restaurants are like this. Food First time trying the Birria Pizza and it was great. It comes with cilantro and onions. I omitted the onions because I've got the 'soap' gene. Overall Overall, I enjoyed my food and would go back.

This one closes at 9 but they close the kitchen 15 minutes early! The other location tastes better and has a friendly staff.

I'm Mexican from California and I can recommend this place. I had three tacos (Al pastor, carnitas, and barbacoa). Plus an Al pastor sope.

Plus, it was Friday afternoon/evening and families were showing up as well. The service was good despite our server getting some things a couple of times. Yet overall, I have no complaints about our service or server. Our food was good and I was shocked to see how much food each person got on their plates. I ordered one of the combination platters which consisted of Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce/tomatoes, a side of pico, and a chicken taco. I also ordered guacamole as an appetizer and they actually make it in front of you at the table. It was delicious! It was all delicious! My mom enjoyed her chicken taco salad. And not to mention, yes, they give complimentary chips and salsa. The bathrooms were clean yet had water in the soap bottle since it was low/out. And the ONLY thing I didn't like was the tap water. Yes, I know it's tap yet this tap tasted like boiled Chattahoochee River water. The lemon jazzed it up. I'd eat here again and overall I'll rate this place 7/10.

I asked could they cut the chicken small for my elderly mother. These fools flat out said no. That was beyond unfathomable! As I watched a guy cutting vegetables. They have no logical on why they couldn't cut the chicken that was already cut up smaller. The cashier was a little girl with braces kept awkwardly giggling like a little school girl. I asked a guy for the manager. He had on some thick black frames. He tells me the manager isn't there. So, I ask who is in charge. He said, "I guess me". So I tell him what happened and he looked like another little kid with an awkward face like he didn't know what to do. Then he says, "well I just work here". Everyone just acted like they didn't understand or speak English. This was insane! I don't do bad service at all. Leave this place alone, just like I am. I have a low tolerance for stupidity. I just left while they played a who's on first. Completely unprofessional and immature. Will never spend a dime there again.

The atmosphere is lively, colorful, and full of personality. It feels like the kind of neighborhood spot people keep coming back to, and judging by how busy it usually is, that's exactly what happens. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and a cold Modelo goes perfectly with the meal. It can definitely get crowded, so I'd go expecting a wait during peak times. But to me, that's part of the charm. Places don't stay this busy for this long unless they're doing something right. Great food, fun atmosphere, and easily one of the better Mexican spots in this or any part of Atlanta.

My only complaint is that when you order takeout in person, they add a 15% takeout fee. I think that's excessive because we're not dining in, being seated, or interacting with a server--we're simply placing an order, picking it up, and taking it home. I don't really see what additional cost justifies that fee. The food is great, but the takeout fee makes ordering from here less appealing. Ambience is good.

There's booths and tables and I like that the tables aren't too close to each other. There's cute decor, just a nice vibe overall. It wasn't too busy for a Friday evening which was nice since we had our kids with us. The waiter was pleasant and checked on us occasionally, without being over bearing. We started with a trio of dips with chips- guacamole, queso, and salsa instead of the bean dip. All of them were good with the queso being so-so for me. The salsa is nice and smoky. One kid had a kids meal with two shredded beef tacos and fries. I'm glad they served the onions and cilantro on the side for him. Hubby has the queso birria plate and raved about how good it was. I enjoyed by pollo asado plate. I only wish they had a salsa bar with the pickled veggies, etc. The menu is extensive so I can't wait to try something else.
