Food was ok if there was no guacamole on because you don't know if the person is allergic to avocado

I came here today May 4. 1:36 pm The cashier samantha and the whole team looked like they're tired or irritated for some reason i dont know what it is but they need to work on it. I asked if they can putt veggies on the side because they over stuff them alot with veggies. And they guy didnt listen and put everything into the quesadillas . I heard samantha telling the guy who was preparing the tacos that if he put veggies on the side and he said no , i didnt know . When i told him myself i want everything on the side. SERVING OLD DRINKS! We ordered 4 horchatas and the cashier (a lady with poor customer service) gave our drinks to the people that ordered right after us and because they had no more horchata, she proceeded to give us old horchata that was sitting out and most definitely watered down. I'm very disappointed and they need to do better with serving to who ordered first. She also never mentioned that our drinks were ready. She claimed the horchata was someone else's that they had forgot..how gross..but she "changed the lid" makes it better right?? read more

I was looking for some tacos en the Compton area. We came across El poblano. I order 3 tacos Birria- 6-10 Birria was ok in flavor side, but it was on the dry side, Maybe some consomé would've helped. Al Pastor 6.3-10 The Al pastor was ok did really taste the flavor the guacamole over powered it. Asada 9-10 The asada was seasoned perfect and nice charcoal smoked flavor paired by perfect with the guacamole and salsa I would definitely go back and grab some asada tacos! read more

The burrito was okay , not the best I've ever tried but not as bad either. The only thing I didn't like was the mad attitude the guy made when I ask for extra onions and cilantro. Some people like onions on their burritos. The workers should just do it without attitude. Didn't even ask for extra red sauce. If your like me and your willing drive to get good food I highly recommend Adobos tacos grill in Lakewood now that is fucken food and you get quality food, awesome customer service, and prices are decent. Social media hype this place too much. Do think because it say estilo Tijuana it's going to be good. To be quiet honest the tacos in TJ are starting to suck. Wow this place is amazing!! I can't believe how fresh and tasty the food is! This is a gem in Compton! The place is clean and you can see your food being prepared. There is outside seating, but I ordered my food to go. Now I'm not into spice so they were able to make me chicken tacos with nothing added. The chicken is so moist and flavorful! I also ordered a cheese quesadilla and they put a bunch of cheese and guacamole, onions and a little poblanos. It was just spicy enough, but I did drink a whole water bottle and horchata, the horchata was very good. My daughter ordered the chicken tacos with everything( she loves spicy food) and she asked for the hottest sauce.. She was able to get 1 taco down before reaching for her horchata, I could she steam coming out of her ears and she was sweating, but had a grin on her face. This place was good. My only issue was that we placed our order with DoorDash for pick up and they gave me an address in Gardena! I had to call the restaurant to help me get there since we're not too familiar with the area. So yes, this place is in Compton! We ordered al pastor burrito, tacos and vampiros de carne asada. The meats were flavorful, the tortillas were homemade and delicious, the guacamole is just like you would find in any taco stand in tj and the salsa is so spicy and amazing! We will definitely be returning to this location. read more
