Went on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door. The people were very nice and the line moves fast. Decided to try the Chile Relleno Burrito with asada and the Chile Rojo Burrito. Both were great! They definitely pack the burritos and they are big for a reasonable price. I will say it's a bit greasy but the flavor is amazing. I added yellow cheese to the Chile Rojo Burrito and it reminded me of Romonas which is great because it saves me the drive. The salsa that goes inside is good so next time I'll definitely add more. The salsa given on the side is not good at all. I definitely felt like more of the salsa inside the burrito was needed or they need a different side salsa. Been coming here for quite a few years now. The food and flavors are more welcoming than the location may seem, but I've never had any issues here. I also frequent Rubens across the street and have never had an issue there either. The prices for the food are fair, portions are good, and service is quick. I really do love how flavorful the food is but I do think the quality of many of the ingredients leaves much to be desired. Makes me think twice about coming here but when you're eating the food it does hit. It just makes me feel like when I eat jack in the box and i regret eating it because of the quality. An easy tell is the quality of the rice grain. I saw the other reviews mentioning how greasy the food is and I have to agree, asada burrito was dripping grease down the side of me. Some people love to cliché greasy food as better, and that's fun and all, but when I'm at home at 10pm sitting upright on my bed - sometimes on the toilet - with heartburn and wondering why the hell the burrito was as greasy as it was, it ain't so fun anymore. Tacos are also on the greasy side. I will still give it its flowers for flavor alone, especially compared to a lot of options in Compton, it's a stand out. Even with what I mentioned for ingredient quality, they're probably still better than a lot of Compton options. It's really bleak out here. I'd like to give it a 3.5 if possible but I'll round up to 4 stars earned. I really was excited to try this place, but after trying it o just can't go back. First, I literally killed a roach on the floor my son pointed out. Had 2 chicken burritos that were horrible. Myself and hubby got food poisoned here. Paid almost $50. Turns out the chicken was spoiled YES rotten.
