It's a small joint that looks family owned from the outside. At first look, the menu seems overwhelming but it's actually just the toppings/choices of meat you can put into the item that you want and the prices are included! The service was exceptional. The woman was very respectful to all guests in both Spanish and English, even over the phone, and incredibly quick to clear a line. It kind of reminds me of my mom. She was very clear in explaining how taco Tuesday works to me as well as how pricing is different for certain types of meats in different entrees. They DO have taco Tuesday specials for tacos! It's only catered to tacos hence the name taco Tuesday, so other entrees like burritos or tortas do not get this benefit. Now let's get into the food. I ordered 3 tacos - asada, carnita, and al pastor. I was asked if I wanted "everything" on it - these would be onions and cilantro, and of course we go with the YES. You can also get green or red salsa, tapatio, and lime with your tacos. I went with green salsa and lime. My impression is oh yeah it's good. It's all good. Oh yeah.

La comida esta muy buena mi hijo le gusta mucho los tacos y los chips que dan con salsa y te sirven bien

Enchiladas with the extra dry sauce around it. NO BUENO

Not very good at all. This is not the first time I've been here and usually like their Taco Tuesday. But today was pretty bad, Enchiladas were Sort of dry and the sauce was burnt into the plate as if microwaved too much. My Asada burrito was dry and meat was hard. Barely tasted like an asada burrito. Rolled taquitos we're OK and pushed my review to 2 stars. Not sure I'll be back.

TEEEEEEEENY tacos!!! It's almost comical how tiny the tacos are. This owner is super frugal and apparently rips off his customers I, personally don't eat food from this place, but my mom does. And she pointed out that the tacos are so tiny, the owner decides to start using the mini tortillas compared to the regular tortillas, how he once did. AND, he sells the mini tortillas AT THE SAME DAMN PRICE as regular tortillas! She says the tacos taste good, just not for the price.

Carne asada super burrito

Food was good a the portion was insane for the super burrito! This thing was the length of a model y armrest!

Family-owned and sons have taken the lead. We've been regular customers for over 20 years and are happy to see the restaurant flourishing.

I used to work here years ago so I know how much care goes into the food & drinks. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is still my favorite margarita I've ever had. Everything is made fresh & you can absolutely taste the difference. I always order mine with a sugar rim. It's consistently refreshing, balanced & incredibly smooth. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. Also save room for the pistachio tres leches if it's available.

Doubling stacking deals was a big brain idea, I'll admit. I originally discovered Puesto through the Crazy, Wild Taco Night event I attended earlier this year, and it's nice to know that their restaurant offerings maintain their quality even outside of the competition setting. We ordered chips and salsa, esquite, non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita mocktails, filet mignon tacos, surf and turf tacos, and a grilled shrimp taco. I think I would skip the grilled shrimp taco next time, but the other two tacos were great and the 50% off price point made them even tastier. Our host and server were both very friendly, and we enjoyed the meal. Free self parking is available for two hours with validation from the restaurant.

I usually have enough leftovers to take home and have for lunch the next day. Parking is a bit sparse, but there's residential spots available next door and within walking distance (as well as my favorite romance bookstore, Heartbound Bookshop). All their dishes are made to order, so please have some grace and be patient with their kitchen. As I always say, you can't rush perfection!

The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Highly recommend hitting this local spot up as they stay open late, and serve quality food.

I offered debit card, tap, Zelle. Nope. Cash only. Sucks they don't tell you over the phone. It's not advertised online either. I don't know what it is about this location. But imma keep my business at the Whittier location where they're friendly, offer their Birria menu, and other ways to pay.

Cool spot with some great margaritas and cocktails!…read more Love this little Mexican restaurant located on the bottom floor of the Packing House. Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!

It took a really long time for our waiter to take our order. We each ordered two tacos from their special and I tried the spicy margarita and my friend had the sangria. The spicy margarita wasn't my favorite and I found that it was wayyyy too spicy. The spicy really overpowered the alcohol and other flavors. The presentation for the drinks was beautiful but the flavor didn't do it for me. My friend didn't seem like she liked the sangria either. The tacos took a really long time to come out. The Al pastor pieces were cut into thick cubes. There was nothing memorable about the tacos. I really wanted to like this spot but it was a complete miss for me.
