My favorite place ever!!! Lots of Mexican food choices.. but the machete is forever my fave!! Salsas are all good and they have grilled onions and potao wedges also! Green picaditas are also my fave. Service is great and fast. You can sit inside or outside.. a must try.. little hidden treasure for sure.

My friend ordered tacos from this spot so that I could try it out and I'm so glad she did. We ordered for a group of 3 people and ordered both carne asada and al pastor tacos. Both were incredibly flavorful. The meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and the tortillas were cooked well without being overly greasy. But what really took the tacos to the next level was the salsa. The creamy, light green salsa in particular is amazing. Definitely one of the best salsas I've ever had. It added the perfect kick and creaminess to every bite. Great food at a super reasonable price.

This place is a hidden gem! The tortas are incredible perfectly toasted bread, fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor The quesadila is amazing, loaded with cheese and cooked just right. Their tacos are top notch, and the salsas take everything to the next level. Definitely a must-visit spot! The place is a little small but has tables inside. They also have some great deals, like 12 tacos for $21. Everyone is super friendly, and the atmosphere is lively with music playing

Went there for taco Tuesday. Tacos were $1.50. I had never been there before so I didn't know what to expect but the lady working the register was extremely nice.. I talked to a couple people while I waited for my tacos to be ready and they all raved about the tacos and said they come here all the time. I ordered about 17 tacos and they were ready and about 10 minutes. When I took then home to the rest of the family we were all impressed, they were absolutely delicious filled with flavor.

Love this place! Parking is very easy. Inside is small, but relaxing. They have good music playing that is not too loud or too quiet. The staff is so friendly and food is made fresh. You order at the front and take a seat at one of the few tables inside. There is a salsa area to get different kinds, but it also has the pickled carrots and more. We ordered the chilaquiles verdes con carnitas as well as a pastor taco and pastor sope. The chilaquiles are absolutely amazing. I chose to do a medium egg on top, but you can ask for it any way. The chips still have a crunch and the salsa has just the right amount of spice to it. The beans are super flavorful. The pastor taco and sope are amazing as well. The sope is huge and has great flavor. The taco is exactly what you want as a taco. We will definitely be back. This place has quality food and amazing service.

Was pleasantly surprised. I had driven past this place several times and finally decided to try it We tried the machete with Lengua, and a pastor burrito. Flavor was great. The machete for me was enough to feed two. Some people might not think so. The salsas were even more amazing. Great flavor and spice on the four salsas that we tried. I think I would definitely consider going back. Maybe you could consider adding gorditas to the menu, since you use masa to make machetes. I can't find anywhere that makes gorditas close by.

Las Salsas Taqueria -- Authentic Flavor, Fresh Ingredients, and Friendly Service Las Salsas Taqueria is hands down one of the best places to enjoy authentic Mexican food. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of grilled meats, fresh tortillas, and spices instantly makes you hungry. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is always quick and attentive. Every dish tastes freshly made and full of genuine Mexican flavor. The tacos are phenomenal -- perfectly seasoned meat, fresh cilantro, onions, and warm tortillas made just right. The carne asada and al pastor are especially amazing, juicy and flavorful in every bite. Their burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas are generously filled and perfectly balanced, and the salsa bar is the star of the show -- with so many fresh, spicy, and flavorful options that take every meal to the next level. What really sets Las Salsas Taqueria apart is the consistency. Whether you dine in, order takeout, or grab something late at night, the quality never changes -- always delicious, always satisfying. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and you can tell they take pride in every plate they serve. The value is excellent for the quality and portion sizes you get. You leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. If you love real Mexican food made with care and flavor that feels straight from home, Las Salsas Taqueria is a must-visit. Five stars for amazing food, friendly people, and authentic taste that keeps you coming back for more.

The tacos were delicious meat was very tender and not fatty. The enchilada were so flavorful, but a bit too spicy for my liking. Next time I will get the green sauce only. Everything was very good and I see why they have so many stars

Came here cause my husband wanted to eat Mexican food. We got an asada wet (additional $2) burrito, 12 taco pack, 3 chicken Taquito combo, chicken enchilada combo. I got the asada wet burrito with half red and half green sauce. I personally liked the green sauce better. The burrito was huge!! The asada was good. It wasn't dry (maybe because it was drenched with the sauce). I think next time I won't get the burrito wet cause I couldn't try the different salsas that we brought home. We actually ordered too much food, but always great to have leftovers for lunch for the next day. The 12 taco pack, we got 6 asada, 2 pollo, 2 carnitas and 2 pastor. It must've been good cause my 2 kids ate 7! My youngest really liked the Taquitos, it was very crunchy. The rice was tasty and not too dry or too sticky. My husband got the chicken enchiladas. He really liked it. I took a bite and it had a slight kick to it. I tasted his beans and it was very tasty. Overall, this might just be our new go-to. I'd recommend checking this place out and would definitely be returning. Next time, I wanna give their Machetes a try.

I ordered the same meal, the veggie tacos, and they were nowhere near as good as the first time. After staying away for a long while, we decided to give Gabbys another shot, but once again the food was underwhelming. This place just seems very inconsistent, and the service was mediocre at best. My wife ordered a steak burrito, and when the food arrived, the burrito had no meat in it at all. She had to send it back. It's hard to understand how a steak burrito goes out without steak. It also feels like everything is pre-batched, which takes away from the quality and freshness. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, I personally would not recommend this place. The food feels very Americanized and lacks the traditional flavor and quality you'd expect from authentic Mexican cuisine.

The inside of the restaurant was HUGE. I'm pretty sure it was built inside of a church. I really liked the stained glass and elevated seating areas nearby, it reminded me of the Old Spaghetti Factory layout in Fullerton. Overall, I had a very positive experience. I had to get a Diet Coke and of course, it was crisp to my expectations. A little heads-up, unlike the Costa Mesa location, they do not have horchata. Nevertheless, I'd come here again to try their burritos, tostadas, and salads!

When we got there, I let the server know but it didn't seem to matter because he didn't ask my name or time, he just seated us. That works for me! Glad we didn't have to wait, we had to make it a fast meal! We waited about 5 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress. I had seen they had just started serving the soft serve margaritas on their IG and I was SUPER excited to order one! I asked our waitress (Rosie) what flavors were available and she had to ask someone else. Ok, no worries, they had mango and strawberry. I asked for a swirl. My husband ordered a shot of patron anejo sherry cask. She did not seem to understand what he was asking for even though it was an item listed on the menu. He repeated himself a couple times and even pointed to it on the menu before she said "I'll have to check with the bar" she took the rest of our order which consisted of another cocktail, the empanadas, and an order of enchiladas. She left for a bit and came back saying they had his tequila. Then another waitress came back a few moments later asking how he wanted his tequila. After our order was in, we received our chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious! Not too long after, my empanadas came out and they were overdone. Burnt. The pastry was bitter, but not just because it was overcooked, but because it seems like the oil was old. The filling wasn't what I was expecting, but it was tasty. My husband's enchiladas were good. I had one bite. After our meal, husband ordered one more cocktail and the dessert chimichanga. Same bitter oil taste on the chimichanga, I wasn't a fan. When we were brought the check, it turns out we were overcharged for the tequila. We brought it up to the waitress and she told him he ordered a different one when he had repeated "patron anejo sherry cask" to her multiple times. I don't even know if there's more than one sherry cask tequila on the menu! Anyway, she was able to adjust the bill to charge us for the correct tequila but the husband still didn't get to drink the tequila he wanted. Oh well.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum
