Tacos Jalisco includes the extra vibrant cucumber flavor. The borderline narcotic level of sugary sweetness, hints of green gourd goodness, and cool frothy texture cement the cucumber agua fresca from Tacos Jalisco as one of my all time favorite beverages. I believe consuming appreciable fluid ounces of said beverage has made me a more handsome, intelligent, & beatific man. A light verdant radiance characterizes my every gesture & feature now. Came here for a to-go order, and the place's ambiance is comfortable and home like. Got the 3 tacos plate with rice and beans. The asada was my fave at 8/10. Pastor was a miss for me at 6/10. The carnitas was good at 7/10. I like that they separated the onions and cilantro, to put on my tacos when I got home. I think the only thing I was missing was diced tomatoes. The salsas were good and spicy. Overall would come back again. The 3 stars isn't bad, it's just that there's so many taco spots in Southern California, so competition is tough and my expectations are pretty high for street tacos. read more

The server Naty is rude. She has a bad attitude. This isn't the first time we've had this encounter with her. After hearing all the kids talk about this place we finally went. Little place behind Taco Bell. My husband had two chicken enchiladas and a beef taco. He said it was really good. I wouldn't know because I was totally focused on the most amazing Mole I've ever had! Came with tortillas and 5 small chicken cutlets drenched in Mole heaven. The second time here I got the chile relleno, potato taco and the cheese enchilada. The plate was overall very good and very filling. Seemed kinda spendy for caldo, but it had 4 meatballs and it also came with a container of rice and 4 corn tortillas - so I shared it with my hubby so I guess you could say it's $7 per person since after tax it was just under $14. Broth was tasty, and not too salty - lots of HUGE chunks of veggies (potato, tomato, squash) and the meatballs were very tasty and it was quite filling. The only bummer is that when I got to the end of eating my soup, there was a hair in my last meatball, so I couldn't eat it any more - so minus one star for the hair. My husband and I have been meaning to stop in after we have driven by this place many times and it's so close to home. Inside is much bigger than if you just looked from the outside, tons of tables. We sat next to Memo who is the cook and he was so friendly and helpful. My entree was amazing and my husband got the chicken with green sauce. We both were so pleased with our meal. Memo also brought out a few different soups for us to try and an assortment of salsa (the habanero being my favorite). We will definitely be back again and hope to see Memo, too!! read more

I've been here before, food and service was great. Went there last night. I asked the waitress several times to bring what was suppose to be a small bowl of soup before dinner . She ended up bringing a huge bowl of menudo and my husband's huge bowl of abondigas with our dinner. Our waitress acted like we were bothering her. Went here because someone recommended this place. When we arrive they seem very nice told us to sit where ever we wanted. Waited and waited and they never came. The service was horrible. I had to get up and ask for the menu. We waited more and no one would come to take our order. We finally got their attention and they came with chips and salsa this was probably 20 minutes after we arrived. They took our order and brought our food and no drinks. We got their attention and they had given us the wrong bowl of menudo we had ordered a small and they gave us a large. They took it back. In my opinion they should've left it there because my husband was sick with a cold but they still took it back. They were not even full to justify such poor service. I went in there today to order a side of salsa because they have excellent salsa bar unfortunately just not the food to go with it when I went for the salsa, I literally could not communicate with the cashier because I don't speak Spanish and she did not speak English. Went there for lunch yesterday with a friend. It was later in the afternoon, so it was a very busy which was nice. I ordered the three taco combo, one with chicken two of shredded beef. We were served a complimentary chips and salsa prior to our meals coming out. Our meals came out super fast. I ordered a hard shell tacos and they were pretty amazing. The red sauce that came with it is really, really good. Hard to believe but it's hard to find a great place in the Anaheim area with good Mexican tacos rather than Taco Bell or Del Taco.
