But- we were driving back through today and I remembered a Mexican restaurant in Frisco, so we stopped in for lunch- great decision! They have some tables outside, but we chose inside seating. We sat down and a server brought over water, chips and 2 different salsas that were very tasty. I ordered a medium size skinny margarita- and it was huge- but also really good and tart- just the way I like them! I ordered a chicken dish and my husband ordered a pork dish- hindsight- we should have split one meal because they were huge!!! Very fresh and delicious, but we couldn't finish them. All of the servers we interacted with were so nice, friendly and very helpful! Everything we ate was very good and it was a fun experience!

My husband had the chicken quesadillas which he loved and they happened to be on happy hour so it was a great price. Our friends had the taco salad ( it was huge) and the chicken soup, also amazing. We ended with the flan which was big enough for four. The staff very really friendly. Everything was delicious. We can't recommend it enough. It's a very simple place but very clean and right on the main street of Frisco.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Tocko on Frisco was disappointing from start…read moreto finish. The moment we walked in (we were the only people in the restaurant) the staff who looked more annoyed than welcoming. The food was the biggest letdown. Everything tasted bland and rushed, like it had been sitting out too long. Ever experience soggy nachos? Well, this is the place for you. The chicken wings, that apparently are not only deep fried are also baked (as I was told by the server) take about 50 minutes to come out. Steak quesadillas were lukewarm, and frankly all of the food was simply meh. Ever seen brown guacamole? You can see it here. Service was equally frustrating. It took forever just to get someone's attention, and when I did, the attitude felt dismissive, almost like I was inconveniencing them just by asking for basics like water refills. "Can't you see we are short staffed" - buddy, I have worked and owned places that are short staffed but have to ask for water 4 times, hanging another table do the same .... I can go on and on. Frankly, so many better options around that are so much better, also short staffed but friendly and at least make an effort to be friendly. Hope your experience here is better if you are brave enough to waste two hours for crappy food and incredibly sub par service.

Had a burrito and street tacos. Both were very good. No complaints…read more Sat upstairs for a Sunday lunch and the music was a bit too loud, but that area is considered a bar/restaurant.

I had the Tuesday Special: light corn soup, dumpling, Thai noodles, and Red Curry (chicken) with white rice. All was delicious and terrific value at $15, including tax. Service was more formal than I prefer: no greetings, no inquiries about the food, and no thanks for visiting.

Green Papaya Salad - large and crunchy shrimp pieces, decent flavor…read more Massaman Curry - way too sweet, couldn't really taste anything else. The coconut rice upgrade was also really sweet and not what I had expected since it came with coconut sauce poured on top of jasmine rice. The other curries that the rest of my party got were also on the sweeter end, so you may want to pass on the curries here if you don't like sweet thai curries. Kua Gai - best dish, nice flavor with a breadth of wok taste. Highly recommend this. Chicken Satay - a bit dry and underwhelming. Wish it had more of a satay taste, and the sauce was okay and on the sweeter end again. Thai Ice Tea - pretty decent, sweet. Service was a little slow but they were nice. Restaurant was full when we queued on a Saturday night and we waited about 10 minutes for a table. All the curries our party got were overly sweet, so I'd recommend something else personally.

Frisco has so many great places to visit, and Highside is located right at the corner of one of the coolest streets of shops and restaurants--starting or ending your shopping with a beer is a must. Highside always has a great variety of beers, but also has coolers of ciders and non alcoholic options. They also have food available, but as I haven't eaten any, I won't review that here! But I do love the indoor and outdoor seating options--and the place is dog friendly!

Current Management is extremely dedicated to the "We Do Not Suck," goal. High Side now has three (3) locations; Breckinridge, Fair Play and Frisco. The actual BBQ pit is in Fair Play, and high quality meats and game-based sausages are supplied to the pit. BBQ is distributed to Breck and Frisco. During my tasting the sausage was moist and flavorful, turkey was amazing (so moist), pork shoulder was nicely smoked, and the brisket, although tough, was flavorful. Also tried delectable Mac-n-Cheese, Green Chili, Red Chili. High Side is dedicated to community involvement and occupies a great location in Frisco. They also genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Kurt Zolbe is your man if you have any issues.
