Walked into here on a Tuesday night, it wasn't packed at all but we didn't have a reservation. The only thing they had was a high top at the "sushi bar". The sushi bar wasn't really lively, they block the view overall so you don't get a "sushi bar" experience from the chefs. Our waiter seemed flustered because he was understaffed but we put our orders in for drinks and tried to make the best of it. I ordered a mocktail and it was so sour you couldn't drink it. So I asked for a different drink. When we got our miso soup it was so salty that none of us at our table couldn't finish it. The "bread" for the table isn't impressive and they decided to plate our entire groups order on a skateboard? Which had paint chipping off of it? (Food grade? Probably not) Like a lot of other reviews it's confusing here. The sushi....the sushi was warm. My cuts of fish on my nigiri's that were raw were warm. The monster spider roll was rolled so bad that the nori sheet was hard to chew. As the night went on tables weren't used, and we could have sat at a table with the turn around times we saw. Overall, for the price they charge it's not worth it. Go into downtown Breckenridge if you're looking for sushi because this isn't it.

Short rib - $38 SO NOT WORTH IT. A dry piece of chuck swimming in salty meatloaf gravy.

Really underwhelmed here. Best note is that they are open till 10 and service was fast... or more like rushed. I got the Short rib which at $38 was SO NOT WORTH IT. As far as I could tell it was an incredibly dry piece of chuck swimming in salty thick meatloaf gravy. It was edible, but only because I was hungry and knew what it cost... you needed water to get the meat down. Asparagus was good. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun. Maybe that's the better call with an attentive bartender and conversation.

Awesome sushi and great vibes. I like sitting up front near the bar; it's a good option in case you don't have a reservation. This place gets slammed during the weekends so plan ahead! Their sushi is awesome and I'm a big fan of their tuna shooters.

Always a good time, Roy and team do great job with this diversified menu! Enjoy the great selection of sake right on Main Street!

2 rolls missing totaling $33 + Togo fees and pick up fees $20 =$53 a meal for one. They need to do better.

We were on vacation in Colorado. We placed an order and picked it up. The food was good, however, 2 of the rolls we ordered were not placed in the take out bag. Which is upsetting because we skied all day and was tired. On top of it with all the togo fees and charges they add for a PICK UP, they should double and triple check the order before releasing it.

Stopped in to have a dinner. Waiter was friendly and upbeat. Kind of rustic and a bit aged mixed with modern sushi bar. As a sushi place they had a good selection. A bit pricey I thought but had a great roll that had the right balance of rice and tuna/vegetables. Nice selection on menu also; I chose the broiled trout. I was expecting a fish on the plate but was really positively impressed when it came filleted out! All the meat was easily reached and I really had a full meal. Definitely will be back.

Normally, I would not trust sushi at a place that also serves burgers, but I was happily surprised. Quality of food is great. Edamame was ordered and it was THE BEST edamame I've ever eaten. Salty and savory. The fish tacos were vibrant and fresh. The swirly fries were amazing. Perfect texture and taste. The sushi was good. The pickled vegetable on the side was tasty. The ghost pepper sauce was fantastic. I enjoyed everything.

There is ample free parking all around this upscale dining spot, nestled among great business buildings, boutique stores, and stylish eateries. The entire area feels safe, inviting, and framed by gorgeous Mountain View's. What's more: This chic bistro/pure-kitchen concept offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is phenomenal, and the variety of vegan options is a highlight. We ordered the Mediterranean Bowl, Pure Thai Bowl, and Summit Stir Fry Bowl, and we were very happy eaters. Their food bowls and tableware looked stylish, clean, and gorgeous, making the meal a treat to look at and to enjoy. Adding to the charm, we were especially lucky to have Ms. Lora as our server. She checked in on us periodically, made sure everything was perfect, and even offered to take pictures of us, what a kind gesture! Prices felt appropriate for the quality and freshness, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Overall, this restaurant is a gem, and we will certainly be back whenever we drive through this gorgeous mountain resort town.

I ordered the Korean Zoodle Bowl with a tofu add-on. It was a bit sweet, but the mild spice helped to counteract this. The large variety of vegetables in it satisfied my closet vegan. The tofu had a very pleasing crispyness when it first arrived. I told the SO, "Quick, try the tofu!", when she got her bowl. The SO ordered the Summit Stir Fry with a tofu add-on. She enjoyed it, but thought it was a little on the sweet side. I thought it was a lot on sweet side. I made my bowl not seem so sweet after all, which I took as a plus. Overall the food taste and quality was good and the service was friendly. I will base my rating on that. I do have one comment not having to do with the food or service. Stop reading here if you don't care. Pure Kitchen has a 4% "Competitive Wage Compensation" charge. I was surprised to see this charge on the bill and only later saw that it was in the fine print on the menu, with an "opt out" option (what brave soul is going to "opt out" and risk spittle in their food). Maybe it's my fault for not looking at the fine print on menu, but it's a food menu, not a used car contract. Just my personal opinion, but I believe if a restaurant wants to have "fair wages" for their employees, it is their responsibility, not mine. Raise food prices, lower profit margin, whatever, but please don't add another tax. It just doesn't seem right. I have never once complained about high food prices in any of my reviews because it is my choice to go out to eat. I could eat at home if I want to keep within my monthly budget. I have avoided going to other restaurants based solely on this type of "fair wages" charge and will likely not come here again for the same reason (no matter how badly I want to try their Lamb Burger). I am really VERY SORRY for getting on my soapbox. I don't typically rant, but there are certain things that I believe should be addressed. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way.

We shared the small salad and the pasta with the steak add-on, and everything was fantastic. We sat in the bar area and skipped the cocktails since we were driving home, but I did order a Shirley Temple. Call me crazy, but it was honestly the best Shirley Temple I've ever had. We spent the last part of dinner going back and forth on dessert -- the cookie/ s'mores -- and decided to pass. The second we got in the car, we both regretted it. That just means we'll have to come back soon and do it right next time. Great food, great atmosphere, and a really enjoyable experience all around. Nice job, 5th Ave Grille!

We had my service dog with us. And yes--she IS a legitimate service animal. After standing at the front for a few minutes, the waiter finally approached us with, "Are you looking to sit outside, or are you just looking at the menu, or what?" Well... hello to you too. We asked if we could sit inside if there was availability. That apparently earned us an eye roll. I even offered to show documentation for my service dog, and his response was basically, "I'll get the owner and you can talk to him." At that point, the vibe had gone from "not very welcoming" to "we clearly don't want you people in here." I can't know what was going through his head, but the way he looked at us, spoke to us, and reacted to a simple request came across as genuinely prejudiced and discriminatory--not just rude customer service. Maybe we didn't fit the preferred 5th Avenue Grille aesthetic after eight hours on the road. Sorry, I forgot to pack my dinner blazer in the camper van. We decided to leave rather than spend money somewhere that made us feel unwelcome before we even sat down. Food might be great. We'll never know. Hospitality, however, was definitely not on tonight's menu. Would not recommend.
