Short rib - $38 SO NOT WORTH IT. A dry piece of chuck swimming in salty meatloaf gravy.
TJ B.

Really underwhelmed here. Best note is that they are open till 10 and service was fast... or more like rushed. I got the Short rib which at $38 was SO NOT WORTH IT. As far as I could tell it was an incredibly dry piece of chuck swimming in salty thick meatloaf gravy. It was edible, but only because I was hungry and knew what it cost... you needed water to get the meat down. Asparagus was good. I started with a specialty roll, the Hot Hippie w/salmon. $20 (12 plain. 8 for the fish). Good but not $20 good. I guess I'm used to specialty roles being oversized, which this was not. Also got the Iwai old fashioned. Tasted like a glass full of crushed ice with whiskey. Could barely tell it was an old fashioned. So, my meal was $80 before tip, nothing was great, I'd try somewhere else or maybe just different options. The front bar seemed lively and fun. Maybe that's the better call with an attentive bartender and conversation.

Awesome sushi and great vibes. I like sitting up front near the bar; it's a good option in case you don't have a reservation. This place gets slammed during the weekends so plan ahead! Their sushi is awesome and I'm a big fan of their tuna shooters.

Always a good time, Roy and team do great job with this diversified menu! Enjoy the great selection of sake right on Main Street!

2 rolls missing totaling $33 + Togo fees and pick up fees $20 =$53 a meal for one. They need to do better.

We were on vacation in Colorado. We placed an order and picked it up. The food was good, however, 2 of the rolls we ordered were not placed in the take out bag. Which is upsetting because we skied all day and was tired. On top of it with all the togo fees and charges they add for a PICK UP, they should double and triple check the order before releasing it.

We went to Kemosabe for dinner last night and it didn't disappoint. We started with the cheese wontons as an appetizer, and then ordered fried rice, sushi, rice, and fries! Everything was delicious; service was good.

Stopped in to have a dinner. Waiter was friendly and upbeat. Kind of rustic and a bit aged mixed with modern sushi bar. As a sushi place they had a good selection. A bit pricey I thought but had a great roll that had the right balance of rice and tuna/vegetables. Nice selection on menu also; I chose the broiled trout. I was expecting a fish on the plate but was really positively impressed when it came filleted out! All the meat was easily reached and I really had a full meal. Definitely will be back.

Normally, I would not trust sushi at a place that also serves burgers, but I was happily surprised. Quality of food is great. Edamame was ordered and it was THE BEST edamame I've ever eaten. Salty and savory. The fish tacos were vibrant and fresh. The swirly fries were amazing. Perfect texture and taste. The sushi was good. The pickled vegetable on the side was tasty. The ghost pepper sauce was fantastic. I enjoyed everything.

Food is good but when placing a to go order, expect t to add 30+ minutes to the time they estimate on food being ready.

You make the order at the counter and will get a text when the order is ready. We ordered a half chicken which would have been enough for us in general but the batter was so crispy and well seasoned that we were highly tempted to order a whole chicken just to take home with us to brag to other family. It was sooooo good! I am from South Korea and I know when my chicken is good. Even some Korean chicken franchise in Denver can't do this good. It will come with a sauce for dipping on the side. We chose the bird sauce and was perfect to dip or mix it in with a jasmine rice along with complementary herbs (basil, cilantros, etc) and cucumber salad. Plus their special soft serve of the day made it even more perfect. We had a coconut soft serve ice cream topped with caramel sauce which was very good. Not overwhelming just refreshing as a whole. This will be our place for sure whenever we pass by! Chicken and outer range hazy ipa were perfect match. I loved that they are existing together. We were starving and I regret so much for not taking the photos. Miss the place already

Del was amazing -- friendly, knowledgeable, and totally on point with her recommendations. Once we started listening to her, it was game over. The Colorado Lamb Burger? So flavorful and juicy. The Pure Thai Bowl with tofu was bright and satisfying. The Fish Tacos were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the Buffalo Cauliflower had just the right amount of kick. Only thing I didn't love were the spring rolls -- but we ordered those before we started trusting Del, so that one's on us. Overall: fresh, delicious, feel-good food with great service. We shared their Miso Soup and Edamame (bad picture...covered dish), and we both ordered sushi rolls (forgot the names), then shared this fun, one-of-a-kind dessert (forgot the name). Miso Soup and Edamame was just OK, but the sushi rolls and the dessert were stellar! Since I've had better Miso Soups and Edamame, I should rate closer to 4 stars...but I just loved this restaurant and its menu. Plus, truly their sushi rolls and that unique dessert made up for the other shortcomings in spades...enough to bump them up to 5 stars!

I was pleasantly surprised at the number of options on the happy hour menu as well and it was reasonably priced, considering downtown Breckenridge. We got the red sun maki (salmon avocado and yellowtail scallion). It's 2x 6 piece cut rolls, so you're getting a great deal for 12 pieces. The rice isn't your typical sushi rice but the fish was fresh. We also go the yellowtail heaven and garlic edamame. The yellowtail heaven was flavorful and fresh. The garlic edamame has a yuzu ponzu sauce that is more sweet than tangy and lacked garlic flavor. Service was quick and friendly. I'd come back to try the full dinner menu!

The quality and flavor of each dish was stellar!! Pricing was very reasonable considering the area. Denver would be more expensive and likely not as flexible. All around - two thumbs up!! My plate: Green beans and cherry tomatoes with an olive vinaigrette, fresh fruit salad, mini bagels with cream cheese, lox and capers (my all-time brunch fav), a beef and sweet potato hash, roasted potatoes, organic veggie quiche (my second fav dish...awesome flavor!). I didn't try the beef with the hash but heard awesome things about it. They also catered a cinnamon roll cake that was perfect for the couples taste. It was delicious as a brunch dessert and when I warmed more up for breakfast the next morning! Sets the bar high for when I'm planning my own wedding menu in the future.
