    Chicken burrito and Modelo beer.

I had a hankering for Mexican lunch one day in March and was on the other side of town by 51st St and hwy 169. This place seemed to fit the bill. The place was clean and inviting. The Mexican party music took me back to my days in SO CAL going to neighborhood shindigs. I ordered a chicken burrito and a Modelo beer. I was expecting shredded chicken and was pleasantly surprised to find they took the time to cut it into small cubes. It was delicious! Great service, too.

    Spicy Pork Chimichanga

The queso and spicy salsa were fantastic! Service was quick and friendly. Street tacos were great. I got the chimichanga with spicy pork as my meal and it had a perfect spice blend that allowed flavor and not just heat. Definitely get queso.

    Great jalapeno salsa!

A Working Man's Mexican Lunch! Our visit was on 6/6/2019 The parking lot was packed with various industry service trucks. We had to park on the street. Fortunately, inside there were still tables available. The diners were there for several good reasons: good food, good portions and good fast service. The menu is of mostly traditional Mexican food, but not bland Mexican food. The meal comes with chips and salsa. There was a traditional red salsa and they serve a roasted jalapeno salsa. Upon request you can get a hotter chipotle salsa that has been warmed. All were a little different in flavors than any other I have had at a Mexican restaurant, all of them good. The Pollo Loco and the Enchilada Trio were both very good. The chicken in the Pollo Rancho was seasoned and covered in a queso. I ordered a chili toreado to round out the meal. There was enough food on the plates that we took home left overs and enjoyed the meal again. The inside of the restaurant was nothing special. It was clean and functional. It was a nice surprise and a very good lunch!

Tacos with grilled onions and lime. Choose corn or flour tortillas.

First visit today and enjoyed their street tacos. They come in flour or corn, but they are small. A three biter for sure! Chicken, beef, and spicy pork are the standard options with a few other such as tripe and tongue. Other menu items include fairly traditional dishes such as enchiladas. Complimentary chips and salsa are good, and the service is friendly and prompt. Affordable and tasty - a perfectly acceptable choice for my taco fix.

Had dinner here two days in a two recently, and I'll say it was a quick, decently priced meal, but the service was lacking. I wanted to give this place a five star review not only because it was good, but because I'm a huge fan of Tulsa molding themselves into a mini version of my hometown of Austin, Texas in some ways. It's been some time since we've ordered from here even though they are right next door they aren't our first choice, and we normally drive a few miles northeast, but we thought we give it another go. The tacos were even better this time, really good actually, but the customer service is jus terrible. It was very cold outside, and they basically ignored us even though we were front of the line for a while. No "one moment", or even a hand gesture, just multipolar glances at us only to be ignored more than once. I'd be less offended if it were warm, not rainy, and my daughter wasn't with me, but it got out of hand just shaking, obviously cold. They even gave food to the previous customer, and ignored us entirely for a while. That said, good food, decent prices, and even better on Tuesdays if you have large orders. For me, the young girl was so rude that I won't return, and I'll just go to Doña Gloria's a few miles up because they are very but as good, and not rude to their customers. Oh, and the chorizo is soggy, the Asada was okay with sauce, but the best thing going here is the tacos pastor.

Very good and very good prices

This is wow, very good food. Is my first review on Yelp. Took 2 pictures hope I can figure it out She got the JR. burrito, ha anywhere else it's a big boy. Maybe 2 pounds maybe 3. 6 bucks lol I got the steak and shrimp dish most expensive they have, 13 bucks. Wife got the enchiladas plate. All 3 VERY GOOD! Will be back here a lot. It is on the north side of 51. Just west of 169.

Burrito with chicken, half green sauce half cheese sauce.

Very delicious and fresh looking food. I had the chicken salad and there was an entire avocado and delicious grilled chicken.

There's a parking lot in this plaza, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. They offered complementary chips and dips (salsa and queso). We ordered additional guac. The chorizo queso is sooooo good! I ordered the birria taco plate and I'd say this is very authentic compared to food back home (California)! They were generous with the birria and the consome is chefs kiss!!! The staff did a wonderful job in assuring our needs were met and that we were satisfied. I hope this place is just renovating and hopefully will reopen in the foreseeable future. I would love to see this place continue to thrive!

Really good and would order again. Rice and beans were probably above average. My dining partner asked how the chile relleno was prepared. (He doesn't like the eggy batter.) We were literally told that it came premade and frozen and was "just fried." Obviously, he ordered the street tacos instead. We sat at the bar and it took a bit to get waited on but the manager jumped in and gave us water and silverware. I liked my Blackberry-Rosemary Marg but I honestly didn't feel like it had much tequila in it. The regular marg was just OK. Since it is a tequila bar and we sat at the bar, I would have liked to have discussed tequilas but my bad for not asking. Would have loved to have done a tasting. The menu was informative. I would go back when in south Tulsa. Not sure I would make it a destination. (Well, maybe. Those enchiladas were good! It is a cute place.
