Super fast and friendly service. The hostess was very nice, when we were seated we had our drinks within seconds. I swear we only waited maybe ten minutes if that for our food. The western omelette is big and good. The chicken and waffles is very good also. My daughter is very and I mean a very picky eater and she devoured the chicken. You do not have to wonder if you will get a refill because there are several girls that walk around to refill coffee. They did it at least 5 times when we were there. Went here for breakfast a couple of times. Even during a weekday it's still busy. Their coffee is so good! No matter how busy it is, the waitresses are always patient & amazing. They are really good at refilling your coffee cup & checking in on you. The food probs are huge! Their food is always well made and love to try their baked goods. Stopped in here for lunch. The place was busy. I got seated at the bar seat fairly quickly. I ordered the buffalo Chicken salad. I should have read the menu better as I prefer iceberg lettuce over spinach. The toppings were all crispy and fresh! There wasn't much chicken however the buffalo sauce paired Nicely with the salad. The restaurant was very clean. The service was great. There was someone available quite often to refill your water/coffee. It was like very intentional to make sure you were taken care of. The pancakes was decent I had a side of cinnamon butter to add to my pancakes. The cinnamon butter didn't really make a difference in the taste. Next time I will try the blueberry pancakes. We had made reservations for a pretty good size group for the morning after my sons wedding. The food was excellent; the service was perfect. However upon arrival I was met with what I believe was the manager and he was angry someone took our group. He pushed to find out who took the reservation and rudely told us they don't take reservations at that time on a Sunday but because they did they would seat us but we had to be out by a certain time because there was another group to be coming in a couple hours. It was very disturbing and frankly ruined my morning. They don't take reservations but another group was scheduled to come after us? To the staff, thank you! As I was eating my food I bit down on something hard which made me spit out my food choking on what I discovered was a nail in my food. What a cute little place this is, along with great service, menu and food. The restaurant is way bigger than I anticipated, and everything is spread out, so you feel very comfortable. We were warmly greeted and didn't wait long for a table for 4. Our server was quick to arrive and get drinks for us. The menu is extensive, with lots of cute names for the items. So many choices, but I had my heart set on eggs Benedict. Our food came in a timely manner and was HOT. YIPPEE!!!!! I had asked for crispy hash browns, and I got them. The eggs Benedict was served with a thicker ham than I usually have, but it was good. Others had waffles, country fried steak and eggs, etc. and everyone was happy. Arrived here on a Sunday morning and it was bustling! My husband and I waited about 25 minutes for a table (no big deal) but there was a party who arrived much after us and were seated first. Once our names were called, the person who seated us as well as our server were both very friendly. We ordered the German fries (two eggs atop home fries, green peppers, onions and cheese with a side of toast) and the honeymoon (two eggs, home fries, choice of meat and toast) as well as some coffee. The food came out extremely quickly which seemed great at first but after seeing the quality of it, the speed made sense. My husband said the sausage was pretty inedible and we both found the home fries extremely bland (they were basically just sliced potatoes with no salt or seasoning of any kind). The peppers and onions in my dish were diced really small and clearly the kind that comes out of a frozen bag. The sourdough toast was good and my eggs were poached well though! Overall not too bad for the price point but definitely more diner quality food than the ambiance of the place led us to believe. 4 stars for service and 2 stars for food quality/taste gets me to the 3 star rating. read more

I am from the Cleveland area and I was out doing business in Akron. I found the honeymoon Grille on the Yelp app and when I saw one $ and a very high rating, it's just one of those combinations that I cannot pass up. This place is golden. The prime rib sandwich is spot on delicious and for 10 bucks with fries it cannot be beat. We also tried the Hungarian sausage sandwich and that had to be small batch locally sourced deliciousness. The really bad: after waiting 20 minutes to be seated and ordering coffee and food- the waitress then informed us that it would be 40 minutes+ for food to arrive. Actual time: 1 hour 5 minutes. I'm unsure why this wasn't communicated prior to being seated. In addition, while they were busy, it wasn't crazy. With the covid seating restrictions, there were not a crazy number of people. The bad: the bacon was way over cooked and dry. Sausage was fairly bland. The good: I got about two pots of coffee down waiting an hour. I arrived a few minutes after opening and this place was up and running and ready to roll.
