Called ahead for a pick up order Ordered 5 asada tacos with cilantro onion and salsa on side Tacos come with cheese as well (nice surprise as it pulled everything together) I don't usually like cheese on my tacos but these had a great balance of flavor and were made with love! Guy who took my order was very very kind and hard working. I came during a rush, it's a small place with probably 10 tables total and it's a very casual setting in a plaza with a lot of different stores and supermarkets. The sign is pretty small so keep an eye out but I would 100% come here again. My to go container came with lemons also and they do not skimp out on anything! PSA: THEY CLOSE AT 7:30 PM. Google and Yelp say this place closes at 8. We called to place a takeout order at 7:15pm and we're on our way already. The guy who was taking our order asked me what time we'd be there because they close at 7:30. I told him we would be there a few minutes after 7:30 and that if they were about to close it was fine, we could order somewhere else. The guy insisted and was very nice and let me place an order with them. I got a wet burrito de asada with green sauce and it was so good! Their green sauce was spicy and had a nice brightness to it. I would definitely order this again, especially with the amazing customer service. We also got a chicken burrito and I think they use the fajita chicken to make it so there were green bell peppers in it, which was interesting. I wouldn't get the chicken burrito again but the wet burrito was really good. If you want great service and tasty food, I'd recommend this place. read more

Amazing!! Was randomly in this area and looking to find a casual place for family group of 11 + 2 small kids. Found this spot somewhat accidentally and was exactly what we needed - good food, plenty of seating, amazing service and hospitality, a few toy vending machines to keep the toddler entertained. I kind of thought some of the reviews might be fake but the food really is as good as the positive reviews say. read more

Just started working in this area and heard many great things about this hole in the wall spot! This is definitely a hidden gem that needs to be recognized! Got a wet burrito (half Carne Asade & half Pastor) and dear LAWD! 10/10 delicious, the flavors were all there. Salsa was absolutely delicious, the cheese was stringy, and the meat was charred to perfection! Hands down my go to spot for a wet burrito out here. Mad shoutout to the people that work there. My go to spot for breakfast burritos in the area. Love the Machaca and egg. Super cool friendly gentleman or another really nice lady usually works the counter. They are always welcoming and pleasant. Good food and friendly service. Parking is also never a problem. read more

Service was excellent. I really felt welcomed when I entered and ordered. The food is good and the portions are large. The beef was not too gamey. The hot sauce and pickled sides are excellent. Prices are fair, I guess, but there are also fantastic food trucks that serve food close to this for quality for less. Yum. I tried this place because great reviews and I work in the area. I got the taquito plate, really good. Taquitos we're fried to order. Even though I got a fried item it was not over greasy. Rice and beans nice. I loved the cheese, tomatoes and lettuce serviced with the plate as an add on your own taquito topping. The tomatoes were so delicious- most of the time you get tomatoes at a restaurant they are bland- here they were garden ripe fresh- honestly perfect. Green salsa yummy. I liked how they asked if I wanted the avocado sauce on the taquitos or on the side, I was a in a Togo situation so I really appreciated that as I could keep my taquitos crispy!! Will return again for tacos and the wet burrito others seem to love. All staff were super friendly too. Nice place read more

First time at this restaurant. I've seen it for the last couple of years, finally stopped in after working out a few doors down at Planet Fitness. This place is very fair priced and the food is very good (so far). I tried the hard shell beef taco's (taco Dorado). I love how they cover the tacos with lettuce and tomatoes. Recomiendo este lugar por este plato pero la próxima vez que ande por el área vendré por unos buenos taquitos!!! Very good "fried mojarra" I ended up very satisfied and of course very happy since after two hours in the gym I needed to recharge my energy and what better way than a good fish. I took my fiancée here since it's near her house and I saw that they had good reviews. She got the Gordita de asada and got her Agua de Jamaica drink. I got 3 Carne asada tacos which I thought were okay but I didn't really like the red sauce. My tacos also didn't have any Pico de gallo on it which is my favorite. Our food took about 10 minutes to come out so we waited inside the store. The plaza that this shop is in is not the best in term of safety, there are homeless hanging around in the parking area and it has a car wash station in there as well. read more

This place definitely gives the "home cooked" vibes and the food is delicious!! We were looking for a place to grab lunch after my kid's field trip at the Discovery Cube and I'm so glad we stopped here! Seating is very limited, so if it looks busy, you might want to order to go. The fish tacos and chicken taquitos were my favorite. The fish tacos are lightly battered and fried and come with their salsa verde. Absolutely delicious! I should have ordered more! The chicken taquitos are not the skinny, pre made ones you normally get at a taco shop. These were made fresh with huge, juicy, chunks of chicken and topped with their avocado sauce. The last time I had taquitos like this was when my friend made them homemade at her house. The nachos were also good, but I wasn't a big fan of the lettuce as a topping. I've never had nachos with lettuce on them. Next time, I'll just order them without the lettuce. We will be back for sure though to get more taquitos and fish tacos! read more

Came out to the Discovery Science Museum and decided to try this place out for lunch. There is literally a taco place on every corner out there so it's tough to pick the right one. Not much on the inside. 4-5 booths to sit. A lot of people were picking up things to go. Seemed like they had a steady crowd going. Started off with the taquitos. 3 of them with huac for about 5 bucks. Not bad. Really meaty and crisp. It's not real guac but that sauce stuff. Still pretty decent though! 5/5 Had a cheese quesadilla for about 5 bucks too. Cheese and cooked perfectly with that crispness on the tortilla. Served with sour cream. A little small for the price but still good. 4/5 Next was a steak torta. Good flavor. Hearty size. But just seemed to be lacking something. Maybe more seasoning. 8 bucks for that. 4/5 The least favorite was the nachos. Good size but not your standard nachos. Lots of meat and salsa but the cheese is just sprinkled on top. If you're looking for those ooey gooey style backhoes, these aren't them. Those were about 8 bucks too. If I'm back in the area I'd for sure try it out again! read more

Every time I order, I always ask for NO ONIONS, yet every time I bring my $40 + dollar food order home it's loaded with onion! I'm not coming here anymore cause I'm tired of buying food my family and I can't eat. Yesterday I nicely told the guy three times taking my order to not put onion in any of the food. He even repeated back to me, "No Onions", and wrote "No Onion" down. Lol Unbelievable! This is the only place who puts Onions in a quesadilla! read more

Delicious food - no pocholeros here (posers). Authentic and fresh food. I come by the area once a week and this is the only real Mexican spot I've found that's bomb. I usually get machaca with eggs, and it's always a healthy portion with never dried out meat. I'm gonna try some more items when I can - they all look great. I got the #6 birria plate. BOMB. So much flavor. Just a little bit of additional salt needed. My husband for the carnitas torts. So so so good as well. The carnitas were very salty though. A little too much salt. I got the pina agua Fresca. Very refreshing. If I'm ever near by here again I will gladly stop by. I would say however $30 for our total was kind of steep for pricing. Gave it 2 stars because the employees were nice. We ordered a sope with birria, 2 carne asada tacos, and a side of rice & beans. The corn tortillas tasted awful! The rest of our food was not tasty at all. We walked out without even finishing our food because it was pretty much gross. Also, there is no public restroom so make sure to bring hand sanitizer or wipes if you're dining in. I found the place a little filthy. We asked to have our table wiped down, and the rag that was used to "clean" the table needed to be rinsed/washed as it looked filthy. Needless to say, the table was still filled with some food waste, even after it was wiped down. Another group of people finished eating what looked to be menudo/pozole, and the employee placed the dirty bowls on the counter where food is prepped. Not once did I see the gentleman who was taking payment (cash or card), wash his hands. He'd charge the customer and then pack up the meals or call on the customer to grab the food from the counter.
