It was a Friday afternoon and I wanted to treat my mother to something different for dinner. I've been craving Mediterranean food and kept seeing Antonio's Tacos and Kabob. Interestingly I've noticed two locations and so the "kept seeing" part was a lot more frequent than just passing by. When the establishment has Tacos and Kabobs in their name, that is exactly what you should try. So Tacos and Kabobs it is! I ordered a couple of Antonio's combo plate which had 1 beef and 1 chicken kabob, rice and a choice of a side. Although I ordered the same combo plate for the two of us, I did switch up the sides and shared with my mom. She loved everything. She is not a big eater but if the food is good you'll be surprised when you see the bottom of your plate. In addition to the combo plate I did order a couple of tacos. So you definitely have to try the med burrito and to top it off you can add kebab meat to it for an upcharge. They Have plenty of different drinks available and a full mediterranean plate menu plus some cool mexican options like churros for dessert or classic salads and tostala bowls. The food here is really good -- no complaints about that part. The kababs are juicy, and everything tastes fresh. You can tell they know what they're doing in the kitchen. BUT the customer service seriously needs work. The girl who took my order and gave me the food has had a ton of attitude. Simple questions get met with eye rolls or short, snappy answers. It's like they're annoyed you even showed up. It really kills the vibe, which is a shame because the food deserves better representation. You get a choice of one side. Meat was flavorful but not THE best middle eastern food. Rice was a little dry. Pita was thin. I had to try a taco since they offered them. Pastor was delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. Chips were super crispy and the right amount of salt. There was a lot of take out orders. There's only about 5 tables so a big group might not fit. The bad: They don't have any garlic dipping sauce for the kebabs Also another thing that really broke my heart was the way the chefs were arguing today. I sat next to the kitchen and the chef with the beanie today was yelling very bad at the other chef and mocking him as well because he wasn't moving fast enough or I'm not sure why.
