Couldn't really tell what else was in it. Tortilla was solid, but cooked pretty greasy. Really lame they used single use plastic to serve this burrito (see photo), when there are better, lower-impact options. This is THE best Mexican food I've had in all of Portland. My mom, who grew up and lived in SoCal, came to visit. She has been surrounded by bomb AF Mexican food all her life and explains this cart to have given her one of the best Mexican dishes she has ever had. It sucks that they have limited hours, but in a way, it makes them more of a treat. Their food gives me immediate stabilization when I'm spiraling off the deep end and I thank them for that. I'm seriously so bummed because I have been bragging about this place to my friend for literally years and I finally got a chance to take him there the other day. He ordered a chicken fajita burrito with sour cream. I heard you guys take the order. Somehow, he was delivered a dry as hell carnitas burrito. I heard them take the order at the counter. She asked what meat he wanted and he said chicken. Somehow the lines got crossed and he got the entire wrong burrito, which was dry and boring. We were both very sad. I ordered a wet burrito and I felt like there should have been a lot more sauce on it. Both were not satisfactory. This has been one of our go-to restaurants for great Mexican food. The staff are very friendly and they always take a moment to say hi to my girls. They have taken many precautions since Covid which is very appreciated. We had our typical order of a carnitas plate and an asada burrito. I added a carnitas taco for the wife when she got home later. The carnitas was spot on! Great taste, crisp, tender and NOT greasy!!! The beans and rice were good. My girls completed this plate in no time. My asada burrito was really good- great taste, tender meat and good ratio of meat and rice. The taco was great!! Lots of meat sprinkled with onion and cilantro. My wife only got half a taco (yep, it was worth the eye rolls). My only tip is to not show up right at 11am when they say their open. Street tacos! What else do you need to know? An unrelated errand led me to end up in Sellwood, so I thought "tacos?" (I'm always thinking about tacos). I had a feeling it was a food cart when I looked it up, and it was! I was thankful for that because it was a rare and beautiful sunny day in February. Went to the window, looked at the menu for a bit before realizing they had a sign that said "please wear a mask when ordering". As soon as I put my mask on, the window opened and a young gentleman took my order. I liked that they were taking masking seriously. I got 2 carne asada tacos, and they were just what I needed! There was a lime wedge and a little container of salsa verde, which was a great addition. The tacos were delicious! Very much put some pep in my step for a hike I was going on later. I would definitely go back to Luna Taqueria... I wanna try some of their other offerings! read more

Lovely family run food cart. Had a chicken Tinga burrito, that was the best Tinga I've tried in PDX. My wife had carnitas tacos that were tender, juicy, and also packed with flavor. Very delicious! Reasonable prices and lots of food. In my experience they haven't charged extra for substitutions or additions, like switching to steak or adding rice. Their carnitas chimichanga is my favorite! Stuffed my face and felt like I was going to explode from so much food and I had only eaten half! My kinda meal it was even delicious after it sat in the fridge and I ate it for breakfast the next morning. They use a cool avocado sauce on top which is amazing as well. Nothing I have had has ever been too greasy or given me the 'Mexican food stomach ach' so that's a plus. read more

Ordered: chicken burrito and 2 chicken tacos. This place is incredible and reasonably priced. Initially they gave me and charged me for the wrong order but nobody is perfect. They admitted fault, I came back and gave me the correct order. What's most important- they charged me 2 dollars extra. They also gave me 2 dollars when I went to pick up the new order. I'm in the neighborhood so it wasn't that out of my way. If you want honesty, hand crafted greatness, reasonably priced tacos and burritos. Look no further. I will be coming back here weekly. What took me so long!?! I usually don't write a 5 star review until I've been to a place a few times but I feel compelled to do it today. I was in search of a good breakfast burrito and instead was gobsmacked by the best Chilaquiles I've had outside of Mexico. Yes, they have breakfast burritos but I may never taste one because the Chilaquiles were so damn good. It's rare that I am already plotting and planning my next visit when it comes to food, but let's just say I might be calculating how many times I can visit in the next 10 days. This food truck had no special wrap, and just a simple sign. I had the chile relleno plate and it was quite tasty. Rather than an egg batter, the stuffed chile was wrapped in a simple omelette. It came with some basic beans and Spanish rice, a squirt of puréed guacamole and sour cream on top, and a small cup of salsa. The flavors were all nice. While I thought using an omelette rather than an egg batter was a nice idea, it also meant that the cheese within the chile never had a chance to melt and was just room temperature. Short but sweet: The very best fish tacos I've had in PDX. Lightly fried fish, cabbage, some outstanding sauce that is the perfect level of tangy, and a beyond reasonable price of like $2.50 a taco. I couldn't be happier. The food cart pod has a decent number of tables (considering the size and the neighborhood, at least) and some are covered. I love their burritos but I don't love their customer service and they charge $1 for a TINY extra sauce. Losing a star for being stingy is not worth it they should just give their sauce generously considering it's a small container.
