We came to Los Reyes De La Torta for an early dinner with my husband and son, and we had a great experience. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, and we were seated right away. The chips and salsa came out promptly--the chips were warm and the salsa was really tasty. My husband ordered a torta, I had a quesadilla, and my son got the kids' carne asada plate. Everything was good! I especially liked that the quesadilla wasn't overloaded with cheese and came with beans as well. My son's carne asada plate was also a generous portion for a kids' meal, and my husband really enjoyed his torta. My only complaint is the price of the fountain drinks--they were $6 each, which felt pretty steep. Other than that, we had a nice dinner and would definitely consider coming back. read more

This place is always pretty great! The food is always good and never tastes like it was made days prior - it always has a nice fresh taste in it. Service is always friendly and pretty fast. We have been here a few times to eat in and take out - so far I have never been missing anything which is awesome! It's been years since I have enjoyed a delicious Torta and I am glad we came back here. Decided to pick up for lunch and overall it was well worth it. When calling to place an order, the staff was very friendly over the phone. I went with the recommendation from most of their reviews and chose the torta del Rey. It was packed with ham, a sausage and chorizo omelette, breaded beef, pork, mozz, and of course the toppings. The portion was huge, I was so full after eating half a sandwich. They definitely don't skimp on their portions. I like that you can upgrade your side to fries for $2.50 extra. The restaurant was clean inside and overall very welcoming. We wanted to try something a little different when it came to Mexican food, so we thought Los Reyes would be a good option. Upon entering, you can tell the restaurant is very clean and organized. We were greeted warmly and the server took our drink orders quickly. I ordered La Princesa which is topped with chicken, jalapeño sauce, grilled onion, peppers, tomato, lettuce and other toppings. The bun was soft and stood up well to the heaping toppings. Hubby ordered La nortena which has chicken, chipotle sauce, onion, tomato, avocado, had almost a bbq flavor that he really enjoyed. We came in on Sunday February 15 2026 to celebrate my dads birthday that is the next day (16) I asked the server if they could sing to my dad and she said no. Never have I had a place say no the birthday desert or song because that's not the exact birthday. This was very disappointing. Tasty!! First and foremost, staff is so friendly. It's a surprisingly large restaurant, and as we made our way to our table, anyone we passed who wasn't tending to other customers said hello. Started off with complimentary chips and salsa before we ordered the following items between two people: Strawberry agua fresca Mango agua fresca Le Reyna torta (full sized) Milanesa de res torta Super Coctel Agua Frescas were made with real fruit, refreshing, but nothing too crazy. I opted for the La Reyna torta, which was MASSIVE, and my friend ordered the milanesa de res. Tortas come with potato chips, and fries are extra $2 - in the future, will go with the included chips. They make their bread in-house, and it was indeed very tasty and fresh. La Reyna has every meat imaginable on there (pork, chicken, beef), along with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. We also split the Super Coctel, which is a delicious shrimp cocktail - I'd never heard of this, but my friend insisted we get it so I could try. Think a delicious ketchup-y based bath for shrimp, along with cubed avocado and cucumbers. It comes with Mexican saltine crackers, which you can put the shrimp/cucmber/avocado atop, or you can eat the shrimp, and eat a dipped cracker - there are really no rules. Once I was out of saltines, I started using chips because this was so tasty, even sipping on the broth between bites. The avocados and cucumbers added a brightness to the meal, along with the optional lime squeeze. There was also a plethora of shrimp in the cup it's served in. I ended up leaving with over half a torta, and a very full belly. On our way out, everyone said bye, which really made a positive and lasting impression on the visit. The very first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. Oh my! It smells soooooo good! Kind of like when you walk into your aunt's house and they are cooking. I was craving some tortas and found this place. Let me tell you, it is awesome! I had the Reyna , and I posted a picture of it sliced in half so you can see the wonders. It's got some milanesa (steak) , ham, chicken, and avocado. It originally comes with potato chips, but I asked for fries instead. The other torta is the Norteña which I only had a bite of was also very good. We also had an appetizer queso fundido with chorizo. I was so happy when it arrived at my table that I just dug right in. So my picture is the last bite of it, however, you get the idea. It was really good. They don't go skimpy on the chorizo. Last but not least, the service was amazing. From the moment we walked in to the very end. Very nice and terribly efficient. They were super fast at getting our food to the table. Got takeout on Saturday and it was quite busy for lunch! Lots of families and lots of seating. Ordered the norteña mini torta and peluche plate so I could have multiple meals for the weekend. The mini torta was the perfect size for one meal but if you have a big appetite the regular size will probably be good. The melted cheese was amazing and the bread was nice anf soft but that made it fall apart pretty easily. The peluche plate was also quite large. Lots of meat. Been coming here for a long while. I first came by this place about 15 years ago before moving to the valley thanks to Guy Fieri. My husband wanted to try the ridiculous tortas (layers upon layers of meat). I have found myself obsessed with the Quesadilla de Maiz (encebellado, del Rey style) and it'll never get old. I've always preferred corn to flour and never knew until I found Los Reyes that they make corn quesadillas!!!!! And they make it from fresh masa. And they are mouth watering. We have been meaning to try this place for a while and decided to place an order over the phone and pick it up. Unfortunately, they made me hold for over 5 minutes and they hang up on me before anyone would help me. Nonetheless, we still really wanted to try this place since the food looks so good. We went to dine in today (a Saturday) a little before noon, and the place wasn't too busy. We were seated in a booth next to a window. The view of the green grass outside was pleasant. When we reviewed the menu, it was so long we needed to ask for extra time to decide! The service was good overall, aside from a slight language barrier which was likely the cause of our food not matching our order. The food came out sooner than expected, as well. Especially considering how much food was on each plate. Based on this experience, I definitely plan on coming back again to try some of the other items on the menu. I wouldn't recommend placing an order over the phone to pick up though, especially if you don't speak spanish. read more

Finally ! An authentic Mexican restaurant. I had the Nortena- grilled beef and other delicious things on a homemade Telera roll. My husband had enchiladas, complete with home made corn tortillas and a generous portion of chicken . Everything was rich in flavor , yet not too spicy . Really authentic and fantastic Mexican food, there is something very unique about this place. I've been there a few times recently, but I forgot to post a review. The first time, I went with a large group of 10 friends visiting from NYC, we ordered so many different dishes, and they all loved the food. That time, I had cactus tacos, which were delicious. This week, I went with my family, and ordered a Torta del Rey (huge!) and an Alambre de Camarón, and a few other various taco plates. I can't say enough good things about the food, it is really delicious, it has probably become our favorite Mexican restaurant. I always think it is a great sign that a restaurant is full with many Mexican families, it is a sign that the restaurant stays true to their cooking - so that is this place. The service was excellent too, the waitresses and waiters speak Spanish before they will engage with you in English, but again, that is a plus point for me too! The only major thing to mention here is that they do NOT sell alcohol, so if that's a deal breaker for you, you'll have to find somewhere else! I would highly recommend trying this place, it is a gem! read more

Another place I've been meaning to try for a while and finally visited! Came in on a late lunch hour and not too many folks dining in. I was immediately seated and brought over chips and salsa, yummy. I looked at the menu prior to coming and decided to order the Norteña torta with chicken. It took about 10 minutes to arrive and was a pretty big portion. It came with grilled onions and a salad (just the bagged kind), so nothing special. The torta was delicious though, it had onions, jalapeños, chipotle sauce,, cheese, tomato, avocado (more like guacamole), and chipotle dressing. I took half home and had it the next day, still good. I love coming here for the corn tortilla quesadilla, estilo el Rey. It's so big and delicious and it is made with freshly made corn tortilla (hard to find!). Their salsas are so good, especially the red and they have a menu with so many options. I have gotten a few of the aguas frescas (fruit water) but I wasn't really a fan of those as the top half is always super thick, I don't mind chunks of fruit in it but this is just water that wasn't strained and it ruins the quality, for me (I do realize this might just be the way they make aguas frescas i this part of Mexico). They have fast and amazing customer service every time I get takeout, everyone is friendly and looks happy to be here, which makes me happy to spend my money here, too. read more

My personal favorite is the Ceviche, but get the large size if you love Ceviche. Haven't had a Torta that disappointed me or that I was able to finish in the restaurant. The Molletes Con Huevo was just as amazing. The Tortas that I saw go by looked great. I'm going to have one next time. The special beverages looked amazing. The desserts looked great. I cant wait to go back. My server was a middle aged Latina woman. Her section was extremely busy. But she waited in my line I was the only one there. She was perfect. Their name (Sandwich Kings) is definitely fitting as this place had some of the best menu choices we have ever seen. Came here with my wife for an early lunch date and we were both thrilled at everything that we tried. We started off with their amazing juice concoctions and were so impressed. I had their Mangonada... a visually exceptional beverage that mixed fresh mango, orange juice, lime juice, Tajin, chamoy, and was topped with a tamarindo stick. My wife had a vegan Strawberry Milkshake made with Oat Milk that she renamed the Mary Poppins Milkshake because it was practically perfect in every way. For our main entree, I ordered a Nopales Asado Quesadilla with Mushrooms that our waitress recommended. When it arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful it looked and even more dazzled by the phenomenal flavors. It was so fresh and such a magical blend of all of the best parts of each of the ingredients. Definitely one to get again... and again... and again. My wife ordered their cheese enchiladas with a mix of their red and green sauces... or as she likes to call it... Christmas Style. This is her go to dish at Mexican restaurants across the globe and she shared that this place made it in her top five with their version. Alejandro was so kind and welcoming, he took great care of me and was very hospitable. I got a takeout order but I sat inside to eat it because it was pouring rain and the entire staff was friendly and made sure I was comfortable and satisfied.
