I literally stumbled upon this place purely by happenstance. I didn't know how fortunate I could be. My friend Aman and I were greeted with a "have a seat anywhere you'd like". The menu is not large but filled with genuine home cooked REAL Mexican standards, not some artificial "Americanized" replicas. We both chose the Carne Asada Plate and it was amazing, cooked to order perfectly with rice, beans and guacamole with a roasted pepper and of course our choice of flour or corn tortillas. It was the best Mexican food I've eaten since leaving my beautiful Arizona 13 years ago. The server was polite and prompt, if not very friendly but strictly professional. I stopped by on a whim to snag some lunch and a margarita. Very clean and kind service. Emanuel was my server today and he was such an awesome server - gave me a ton of info about the restaurant & how freshly they prep the food. I love made to order guac, homemade salsa and fresh corn tortillas. Hands down might be some of the best tortillas I have ever had. The scratch marg was very tasty. Salsa was so good! We were at a graduation and needed a restaurant that opened late enough. Other than bar food, ethnic food always come to the rescue. That is how I found the festively decorated La Cazuela, at a strip mall with plenty of parking in Lynnwood. When we arrived, we saw a worker making tacos outside cutting meat from the rotating rotisserie. That is always a good sign. The inside was blasting loud music (make that very loud). By the end of the meal, I am fairly sure I lost some hearing. Be that as it may, the restaurant seems plenty legit with one large table full of diners who will later join in on the Spanish language karaoke. Our service was swift, mostly me asking her to repeat her answers since it was loud. Their menu has some unique and new-to-us dishes; we always welcome new finds and flavors. The Food: 5 Suadero Tacos, $15.75 - 4 Stars La Cazuela, like many Mexican eateries, offers tacos with different proteins, some of which I didn't recognize. I decided to ask the server what she liked best and ordered that, which was Suadero. When I looked up Suadero, the meat can be beef or pork. The cut is always from the portion between the belly and the leg, known for its smooth texture instead of grainy. These tacos definitely fit the description. As it turns out, the rotating rotisserie outside is the Suadero meat. They are quite good, well-seasoned, with a smooth bite. Definitely try this! Five tacos turned out to be a lot, a lot of food. Haha. Mexican Alambre, $18.99 - 4 Stars Menu: Grilled beef and chorizo, bell peppers, onions, topped with melted cheese, with rice & beans This was a flavorful dish that can be served in a skillet and with different proteins. In short: Awesome spot with a full menu, great for just tacos too, full bar, and looks like a fun hangout. In long: I came in today to pick up lunch for a crew of people helping me out with my place. They live in the area and picked this as their preferred lunch spot without hesitation. I've lived near here for years and now I'm finally making it in. It's a strip mall on a busy highway, though you'd never know it after you walk in. It's quiet and has a nice sheltered feel that's very welcoming. You feel like you've gotten away from the suburban thoroughfare on the other side of the door. Casual dining room, plenty of flatscreens tuned to Latin channels and a couple movies. There's a bar in back with about 8-10 stools. The menu is about 5 pages, laminated, plenty of pictures. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of entrees, including multiple seafood options. We ordered to go; I went down and picked up. I checked out a couple different tacos, which had perfectly-cooked meat and plenty of fresh, crisp condiments. Everybody else tried a bunch of different entrees and got to eating them so fast there was really no talking at all. Great sign. I was out the door with lunch for 5 and a generous tip for about $130. Not bad at all! I'll definitely be back to explore the menu some more and check out some of the tequilas and mezcals behind the bar. read more

The food was really good. I liked the more authentic options. I missed having good salsa with chips. They had great sauces when I asked for them. We enjoyed the food we ordered. I did not like that the only 2 booths had signs "reserved for family." We asked if we could sit there anyway and the hostess/server said it's shut down for safety reasons as they bring hot food from the kitchen through that pathway. We sat nearby since we were denied the booth. Twenty minutes later, kids and adults were standing and hanging around in snd out of those booths. Safety was not the real reason because they were in that hallway and nobody intervened. Bottom line- I would try here again once, for dinner for the el pastor because the taste of the food is mist important. I do hope that they offer ALL of their tables/booths, offer everyone their salsas/sauces upon seating, and that they thrive in business. read more

We were on a road trip and stopped by here based on the positive reviews but were sorely disappointed. The positives are that the restaurant does have a good vibe. The service is average and could use improvement. When we asked for a refill of the chips we were told it would cost $1.50 which we agreed to. The server came back with literally 10 chips! This is a good place. The food has always been good, in my experience. Prices aren't bad, and you can get a taco meal for under $20. Great salsa. Try the ones they bring out with food- the red one is killer. Great beans. Sometimes we get extra refried beans to go, they're so good. They have a bar & TV's. The margaritas are pretty good, and they have higher-end tequila. I see others complaining about the service... I wouldn't let that stop you. Without a doubt the worst food we have experienced in the greater Seattle area. We took a bite each of everything, and that was it. Bland weirdly textured chicken, overly salty mushy chorizo, jarred salsa, stale chips, bland dry rice, kinda decent beans. We were greeted by friendly staff who would check on us frequently and make sure we were having a good time. The complimentary chips and salsa were so flavorful! We got the carne asada burrito and the fish burrito, and tried the complimentary hot sauces (they packed a nice heat!). Both were two of the best burritos I've ever had--and as a person from Southern California, that's saying a lot. I also had the horchata and it was so refreshing with the well-seasoned burritos and spicy sauce. Food is EXTREMELY fairly priced for the amount and quality of the food (the burrito was as big as my forearm?!) and I would still come back even if they raised prices. Store hours say opens at 11am and we got there at 11:45 but the door was locked until we knocked. Im on the fence about giving this place 5 stars since the 7 mares was soooo good. The food here was delicious, the only complaint i have is that my ceviche didn't have enough like to cook in so it was still raw the next day. So I pretty much wish I could take this place and just put it in my house. Over the summer I tried el pastor with the pineapple, it was amazing and it was cooked by my friends family who was visiting from Mexico. Since then, I've been trying to find a place that does it, and nowhere does. I was with my mom and we wanted drinks and I was hungry so we stopped here. I was absolutely not disappointed, they had el pastor with the pineapple!!!! The tacos were juicy and fresh and flavorful. They brought out three salsas and wow they were outstanding. My only concern is that hopefully they are emptying the salsa jars each time because there's a little spoon for each one and if someone took a bite of their taco then decided to scoop some more on, their germs or saliva could be on the taco, but I'm also a non stop worrier so I'm sure it's fine, and I didn't die or get sick so.... Lol I also got drinks from here and idk where the heck they got a dried and candied blood orange but that was amazing.
