All tasty. (Chorizo was the most greasy.) -Tostada (flat hard shell) tried regular and carnitas. I preferred it with no meat on it. Nice and crispy. As a to-go item it remains crispy and in it's own container! A++ -Burritos: Shrimp and vegetarian, no complaints. I ordered from here a few times each time spending $50 or better. The first time they forgot something small I didn't make it a big deal. Now this time they were missing THREE items from my order. And when I called to ask for my items. I was told it wasn't busy enough to send the driver back out just to give me the items that I already payed for. An argument insued and I explained repeatedly I already paid for these items and then after 20 mins. He finally said okay he will send some one out to give me what was owed then hung up on me. Only eat in don't do take out! I've ordered take out from this place a handful of times and they ALWAYS send me an incomplete order or the food is almost always missing a topping or a side. Also, every time I call the volume to their music is so loud which I believe is one of the factors that contributes to them messing up the orders. Their food can also lack flavor. read more

The service here is impeccable! The waiter does not speak fluent English so it was a bit difficult asking for certain things. However, he was super patient, polite, and attentive. The place makes you feel as though you are in mexico, the food was super authentic and it tasted great! They serve you free salsa and chips as an appetizer and the salsa was amazing! It does not taste like the regular salsa you buy at the supermarket. I had to order a whole containers worth of salsa to go (yeah it was that good). Horrible experience. Although waitress was very customer friendly, this was the reason we were a returning customer, management was not. Went to go eat during covid, we as the customer, are helping restaurants out by supporting your restaurant to go eat. Ordered a plate of green enchiladas for myself and my wife ordered an order of Chilaquiles with egg. THE PLATE CAME WITH HAIR. We asked the waitress to please take the plate and we did not want it anymore and please to not charge us. We did not eat from the plate. Management (some lady) told the waitress that she had to charge us. The lady manager then told me "you should expect that coming from the kitchen". lol that was funny. I don't know where to begin. We placed an order online through grub hub, it was estimated a 30-45 mnts delivery time. We called right after ordering and they said they received the order. Then 50 mnts later my friend called and i spoke to some guy in spanish, i explained to him we had order for delivery 50mnts ago and just trying to verify. The man on the phone said they serve "their people only first" meaning their usual clients and phone calls not online services and usual deliveries and clearly said that its ignorant for me not to not understand the online rules. He said the order was not ready and was just being process an hour later, the delivery got to us 1hr and 15mnts later and we only order nachos, guacamole and 4 tacos. Very unprofessional service from the guy on the phone and rude and to top it off the food was bad. The tacos al pastor was burnt scrapped off the grill meat and the chicken was really dry and the meat was flavorless. Really sad this was a bad experience and bad customer service. This place is a real find! Just happened to stumble upon it while deciding where to go for a last-minute dinner not too far from home. Interestingly, the evening coincided with a celebration in Mexico, which we were not aware of; a nice coincidental theme for the occasion. The place is not that big, but is as inviting as a local place should be. The staff is friendly and efficient, using the latest technology for ordering and billing. The menu is not huge, but large enough to provide a very nice selection of dishes, and is divided into sections that make it easy to pick from different formats. Much better than some other places' menus where there are confusing--and too many--choices. Food-wise, our meals featured generous portions of fresh, tasty items. We had an excellent vegetable burrito plate, a very tasty grilled pork chop plate, and a side of guacamole, which if any "minus" was to be observed it was for that. The guac was a bit too creamy, which detracted from its flavor. We make our own at home, using chunky salsa in the mix, which makes it a bit more zingy and substantial. We mixed in some of their very nice salsa, which was not chunky but added that bit of zing that pepped it up a bit. Price-wise, the local Mexican restaurants are not generally expensive, and neither was this one. Taken together, the balance of good food, selection, and service made the visit very worthwhile. I'm so happy to have found this little hole in the wall a few years ago. Although there is very limited seating, I still prefer to dine in here than the other two restaurants that claim to be Mexican nearby. I wont mention their names but they are on 86 street. It smells amazing inside and are always super busy preparing deliveries. The food is authentic, made with care, and they care about the product and service they are putting out. You will be greeted with a smile and sincerity. Though I haven't eaten here in a while, I passed by this place recently and remembered they needed a positive review. Very disappointed. I order from this all the time. But I will never order from here again. I ordered for pickup and by the time I went there for pickup, they claimed I did not placed an order. I showed them the email confirmation and I had an order number. Apparently that was not enough proof for them. They messed up big time. They had me waiting for 10 minutes instead of alerting me the error. I was standing there for freaking 10 minutes! Very impressive!! The food here was very fresh, and you can see the great care they put into everything.. The taco salads were beautiful, and HUGE as others described.. So big that it's the first time in my life I've never finished a 'salad' meal.. They put the salad at the taco shell base, and build up with the various Mexican delights- steak or chicken, guacamole, black beans, various vegetables, and salsa until it was almost full.. Easily a quart or more of food. The tostadas were also generously proportioned, way more food than I expected, each stacked easy 3/4 inch thick with toppings. The best value I thought, was the guacamole and fresh tortia chips.. The guacamole is very good, and you get an almost full pint of it. The chips were plentiful as well, easily almost a retail bag of chips in volume but no comparison taste wise.. Defiantly will try them again, only wish they were closer to the apartment.. read more
