I've been to a lot of taco trucks. And I've had a lot of street tacos in my life. A LOT. Yet this is one of the best ones I've ever had! On a Saturday night, I was craving pastor tacos so my boyfriend and I drove out to Taquitos Mexico because it was the closest taco truck to us. We both got the 5 for $6 deal. I got pastor tacos and he got asada tacos. My oh my... they were sooo freakin good!!! The meat was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. they were topped with onions, cilantro, and grilled onions. I love that they weren't as oily as other places too. The tortillas were soft and did not break apart. We also got a large horchata but that wasn't too special. I really wanted to try the elotes! Right after we finished our plate, my bf immediately said he wanted more. Guess we have to get him double next time haha. We can't wait to be back and get more tacos and elotes! This review is long overdue. This is the official heavy weight champ taco spot of Leon Valley. Customer service has always been exceptional along with short wait times. The quality, taste and portions are fantastic. From burgers and tortas to street tacos and quesadillas the food hits hard all the time. read more

Serious legit tacos. I got a 5 taco plate with fajita chicken (8/10), carne asado (9+/10) and chorizo (10/10). It was a fair amount to eat but I could t stop they were addicting little buggers. My son had the chicken quesadilla and he said he rated it 8-9/10. He devoured it. I also got a mango agua Fresca. There were little pieces of mango you would catch in sips and let you know it was real mango in there. Seriously good. This is a food truck and it is about a block away from where google has it because they moved. There is room to park on dirt and it is in front of an ice cream shop. There were several people waiting for their food and was busy but not overly so. It took about 10-15 minutes and they made it to order. I highly suggest this place if you want some great tacos. read more

This food truck is truly a gem. For a long time I always drove past it saying one day I'll try. A few months ago my wife and I tried them and been going back every time we have an itch for tacos. Wife always gets the order of 5 Mini tacos, I've tried the asada, Al pastor, and Campechanos. The asada and Campechanos are freaking delicious! The Campechanos are asada with chorizo. I drove from Woodlawn and it was worth the drive. We got 4 trays of asada tacos and an asada quesadilla. My daughter loved the cheesy meaty goodness (her words not mine) and we dove right in and forgot to take pics until it was almost too late. We got our garnish on the side so each person could make them how they like and it was delicious. Simple and filling. We will certainly be back. The late hours help too! read more

I saw this place on Yelp and was impressed with the photos and ratings. We ordered the 5 Taquitos plate. We got two asada, one carnitas and one chicken quesadilla. We ordered the cilantro, onions & grilled onions on the side. On the drive home I could smell these amazing aroma coming from the bag. This place didn't disappoint!! Their prices have gone up to $7.00 but still worth it. Support small businesses! We will definitely be back! We also got two small cups of chai beans. My family and I have been picking up food from here for years now. They are so consistent with their food. Amazing quality and a good amount for the price. WOW WOW WOW WOW!!! it was exactly what i was looking for!!! I got the small quesadilla (no meat add avocado and cilantro). And the 5 tacos (add cilantro, cheese and avocado). I'm weird about meat so i was skeptical but the asada meat was awesome (no fat, high quality). I'm going to make myself miserable but I'm going back tonight if they're open and again every chance i get for my visit. And they are so nice and fast! read more

Have been coming to Taquitos Mexico back and forth for the last year and they have yet to disappoint! I've had the asada, pastor, carnitas and campechanos mini tacos and they are all great and served WELL! If you are hungry I suggest going with the Combo #2 which is five mini tacos with a choice of can of soda or charro beans. They accept card with no minimum purchase and cash. If you are in the snacking mood there is Las Nieves Tapatias right next to it to satisfy your sweet/savory tooth. read more

Delicious! I have passed by this truck so many nights and said one day I'll try it out. Well, last night was the night! I could tell it was a popular spot as there was already a formed line waiting to place orders. Prices are very reasonable... range from $5.50 for five minis or you can pick combos of five or four minis with your choice of drink or a cup of borracho beans. I stuck to just taco plate. You get to choose your meat. My husband and I decided on the Asada tacos. Delicious! It came packed with meat, sprinkled with cilantro and grilled onions on the side. They also give you a bag of limes with cucumbers and two salsas one green and one red. We will definitely be back! read more

Looking for some delicious tacos? This is the place to stop by and check out! I had seen this taco place had a 5 star rating so of course I had to stop by and taste these amazing tacos. I had stopped by on a Friday night and there was only one couple ahead of us. This place has moderate parking available around it so it was easy to find a spot to park. I had went with their combo of charro beans, tacos and a drink. I went with just straight asada to try out. When we received our order, I immediately got their green salsa and poured it right over my tacos. The first bite was delicious! Their salsa verde has a good flavor and has just the right amount of spice to it. This place is perfect to stop by and grab some tacos when you get those late night cravings. OK I'll be straight honest at first look the tacos look great but upon eating them they taste really greasy and the tortillas tasted stale, the meat is good it's a little crispy but that doesn't bother me the only really good thing about this place is you get five mini tacos for six dollars and that's not bad but I will continue to be on the hunt for a better taco truck at a good price read more

The only negatives was that services was really slow and the dining area is very crowded. It took awhile for our waitress to make it to our table and she was gone in a flash after we told her our drink orders (we were ready to put in our food order by the time she go to our table, but she was gone.) That was the main theme for the night. She would stop by our table ask a question get an answer and was gone before we could say anything additional.
