The owner/cashier/server was super nice and I was amazed how fast my order came out. I tried the Machacado taco (dried beef, eggs, tomatoes and jalapeño or maybe Serrano, not sure). It was served piping hot and the tortilla is heavenly. Like some other reviews said; the food quantity isn't huge but the prices are also very low. So it was just right for me. Fresh tortillas, soft, con todo (onions, grilled onions, cilantro). Perfect. I was hoping for Tripas, but they were sold out -- weekends only -- so next time I'll just show up earlier. Their menu isn't huge, but it's got all the heavy hitters. Next time I'm definitely trying the sopes, gorditas, and tacos dorados. The food here is very well made, a home cooked meal is what you feel upon eating. I ordered the "Tampiqueña" and believe it was cooked just right.
