Came here with a colleague because I wanted authentic Mexican food--he's married to a Mexican American, and he said it was great. My only sadness is I chose it because the website said it had chile rellenos, and they didn't. . . It's a hole-in-the wall with lots of people showing up at lunch, so that's a good sign. Generous portions and a daily special--ours was cheese enchilada, so we got one of those and a chicken in mole enchilada. The service was super friendly too,

We really enjoy coming here. The place is small, and has plenty of parking. Since Covid, they have stopped using regular plates, and now it paper plates with a wax sheet in between the food and plate. It really took a bit to get used to that. I wasn't expecting that. The coffee stuff, is all in one separate bag, the forks are all wrapped separately. The salt and pepper are left out on the table. You now also have to order and pay for your food at the counter, and then you sit down to eat. We had the huevos rancheros, three eggs, with ranchero sauce, potatoes and beans. Still a great meal for the price. The eggs were cooked just right. The potatoes could have used more seasoning. I had the barbacoa, and it had a great taste. Not too fatty, very lean. After your plate comes, they still have a waitress to get you anything else you need.

San Antonio has many great hole-in-the-wall Mexican places, and Los Arcos is top-notch. They have really good enchiladas and many other favs. Their are just a mom and pop. It's the kind of place the neighborhood regulars come. A great value for your money. All their ground beef dishes do have potatoes mixed in which is a regional thing. Large teas!!! Just super casual. Not open after 3pm and mexican breakfast items are served all day.

Stopped in and placed a to go order. We ordered the crispy taco plate and the enchiladas rancheros. Both were very good. Each meal came with rice, beans, salsa and 2 tortillas. The tortillas and beans were above average. We had the charro beans and not the refried beans. The service and friendliness of the staff in my opinion took this from 4 to 5 stars. Each dinner was in the $9 price range and well worth it.

This was our first time back at Los Arcos since the pandemic. It was excellent!!! We were greeted as soon as we put a foot in the door, it's very clean and it smelled like a grandma's kitchen. I had the enchiladas poblanas, they were delicious!! Too bad I can only give it 5 stars read more

Came here for breakfast tacos with my son per his recommendation. They were jammed full of flavor and stuffing. The barbacoa was wonderful, tasty without being greasy. Potato and egg, as well as the bacon and egg were quite filling and flavorful. Service was great, super quick with a smile. Dining in allows you to enjoy some pleasant background music. A good place to enjoy some delicious breakfast tacos. I guess we'll have to return to try the other treats on the menu to report on them. A mission we must accept. Until then, see if you can try out the other goodies and let others know how you liked them. read more

First time here and would not come again. Tortillas are not homemade, you can tell they are pre packaged. Potatoes for breakfast has no flavor at all. Asking for ice, is like asking for gold. Apparently they don't have an ice maker so they are a little tight giving out ice. Definitely would recommend another restaurant. read more

We live nearby and come here regularly. The breakfast tacos and chilaquiles are a solid choice in the morning. But the asada tacos with grilled onion and bell pepper? *chefs kiss* can eat that morning noon or night! Green salsa is bomb too. Service is on point, everyone is very helpful and kind. read more

The food was good but the server was very distracted so I didn't get what I asked for and expected. I asked for bacon and eggs mixed, then I asked them to add potatoes. I specifically asked for them NOT to add strips of bacon. Then he asked what salsa I wanted and I said the green one. I was disappointed to get a potato and egg taco with a strip of bacon and red salsa. So while it was acceptable it wasn't what I wanted. read more

This place is such a hidden gem! I love the classic taqueria vibe and the beautiful artwork. I feel horrible that I don't remember my servers name, but she was incredible. She heard it was our first time there and she made great suggestions, was super friendly and a great server.. The carne guisada was incredible and their charro beans the best I've ever tasted! Their carne asada on beautiful house made corn tortillas. Straight fire. Worth the 25 min drive for me! read more

A solid option for breakfast tacos! Ordered a variety of tacos and each one turned out great, especially the potato/egg/cheese. The ranchero salsa on the side was also pretty tasty and had a good kick that added to the flavor of the tacos. Serving sizes for the tacos and sides of pico/salsa were pretty generous as well, with the sides being about 8 oz portions of each. read more

Let me start by saying, BEST fast food Mexican food I've had in a hot minute! My husband and I eat breakfast here at least once a week (Breakfast tacos:potato, egg and white cheese)&&Karla is always sweet and awesome. I appreciate that she calls me by name! Being in the service industry, that's a big bonus to making you (the customer) feel welcomed. We have had the pleasure of trying the shrimp tostadas as well, and I'm telling you they are delicious! Everything is fresh and made to order. They're so friendly&always ready to make sure you get your food hot. I eat here at least several times a week - breakfast, lunch or dinner. if you haven't tried Los arcos yet, drop by soon! in my book great food and great service on a CONSISTENT basis = 5 stars... I go to Los arcos all the time, breakfast, lunch and dinner - although usually not in the same day (but sometimes). Owner greets me by name, staff is friendly, efficient and fast! food is consistent and consistently GOOD! my faves are their asada tacos - small bits of beef cooked til brown placed in thin corn tortillas, grilled onions and peppers too if u like ---delicious! Great with the avocado salsa. and cheese enchiladas - the sauce is unique and very flavorful - not your average Tex-mex taste. breakfast tacos are nice and big. try their "tortilla"soup - it's very different, more like a caldo de pollo. tons of chicken in a light broth with potatoes and carrots - TASTY! order a small unless you are REALLY hungry! NO complaints here! never a problem, just GREAT food & service! read more

Terrible Mexican food. Really really bland tacos. Very small portions. Not worth the price and time. They use store bought tortillas. What a disgrace to Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. They are a chain, and only on the north side. They wouldn't last anywhere else. We like paraiso de Jalisco on O'Conner, Much better very delicious food. read more

Stopped in for some breakfast tacos and was not disappointed! They were very affordable and STUFFED full of ingredients. They didn't skimp on the meat and just over stuff with eggs either. My wife just had to go to Dillard's tonight, but by the time she got finished, it was too late to eat at the restaurant we were heading for. She pulled up the trusty Yelp app and found this place nearby. Off we went to try something new. We located this place in a small strip center. We were able to park in the front door as there was no crowd. As we walked in, we saw they were cleaning up for the night. The young lady doing the cleaning work welcomed us very warmly. She said they would be there for another hour, so they were more than happy to serve us. Since we had never been here, we asked our waiter for some suggestions. We ordered a queso and a couple of orders of beef tacos. The waiter brought us some complimentary fideo and returned quickly with our queso. How was the food? The beef tacos were very good and we'll worth another trip. The fideo was slightly greasy and was not very warm. However, the taste was really good too. The only thing we did not like was the queso. Something did not taste right, and we would not get it again. With the outstanding help, and the very good tacos, we will definitely return! read more

This is my favorite taco place of all time. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. It is always flavorful, it is always fast, it is always inexpensive. Recently, during our "quarantine" here, I've been running there from my home and picking up. I order ahead and it's ready when I arrive. And the run there and back makes me feel like I earned those tacos. :D I like to take my friends and lovers there too and they are always impressed! read more

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We started…read morewith the Pan Fila Conchota combo that is a combination of the two that is 1/2 gallon of hot chocolate made using a base of Abuelitas with additional cinnamon, and cocoa along with something special. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.

The chile Relleno was served in a bowl with just an absolutely fabulous sauce and stuffed and covered with nicely melted cheese. The Milanese con Mole was absolutely decadent! The tender pork was lightly fried and covered in the most delicious mole that I have ever eaten. The chocolate was a little more prominent in the flavor profile than I am used to; and I wouldn't think that I would like that, but it was perfect! I enjoyed every bite and used the extra tortillas from our appetizer to finish off the mole. Highly recommend anything on the menu that incorporates that mole!! Fantastic place!

As a result sounds inside magnify to a point our servers have had to bend over or take a knee to gather clients food orders during busy times. I feel like I am ar a big Spurs game with the sound bouncing around. Those at our table have had a hard time to have a conversation with each other at times. The small room up front is designed so sound bouncing off hard surfaces is worst in this room. I have had to ask to be relocated twice from this room due the sound level. The kitchen area in the front do not have doors to abd from the kitcgen to the dinibg rooms. Another design flaw, as a result the seating areas loud sound comes into the kitchen area. I can not imagine how the staff communicate to each other in this work setting.

I LOVE this place. It may be small but the food is fresh and home made with REAL ingredients. Me and my husband regularly buy breakfast tacos here, today, my husband went somewhere else and I didn't know.... I could tell immediately, the bean and cheese was disgusting and filled with what tasted like Velveeta cheese, the sausage and egg was soggy with sausage that looked like it was cooked in a pot of water. Save your stomachs, this is the only place to get tacos. read more
