Very delicious in the Kitsap mall. It's near the play area on the inside of the mall. The mall in general is a bit nosier than a regular restaurant but over all great. They even have some seats outside the establishment. We had eaten their taco box at a friend's and decided to give another item a try. We ordered and they gave us a beeper and we waited. Usually have great experiences here but today was not it, I had a request for no onions and cilantro on tacos, the cashier kindly obliged with my request, upon receiving my order I decided to take a glance and behold, onions and cilantro, I then returned them to the cashier to have the cook fix my order, he scrapped off the onions and cilantro and with a furious fist violently tossed them into trash and wrapped up the exact same tacos he tried to serve me, I then asked the cashier if that's what he did and she held her hand out and said yes he did, again the cook looking furious now decided to try and recook the onion and cilantro juiced saturated meat and reheat the tortillas, he then turned around and realized I was watching him, at that moment he decided to completely toss them and start all over with brand new one.... Needless to say this order is for someone that has a food allergy to onions so yes that careless cook could have possibly killed someone today, complete laziness and unacceptable, I hope he understands the concept of caring about his customers and overcomes his laziness. read more

We had 2 Cali Burritos (obe chicken, and one soy chorizo) on the Thursday special (buy obe second one is half off) and a side of grilled jalapeños , and everything was delicious. The cashier was friendly, the place is super clean. We have eaten a lot of Mexican food in SoCal , AZ, and Texas, and this was as good as those and better than most places in Washington. Tried the taquiza food truck total let down. My taquitos (bland) were so over fried I couldn't eat them and the plate was missing sour cream, guacamole, cojita cheese. Before ordering I was trying to figure out what kind of oil they used to fry the fries, so I asked the cashier. She was friendly and went to ask the cook and when she came back she said he got an attitude with her and wouldn't tell her? He seemed to be grumpy before we even asked so I'm not sure what that was about. California burrito I just came from there, ordered a California burrito snd the lady asked me for guacamole and sour cream, I told her yes please and extra cilantro. Mall food isn't my typical go to but hands down Taquiza is the best Taco place on the kitsap peninsula. Their meat is all so flavorful and everything is reasonably priced. Went to try this place for the first time and was really disappointed. First of all I ordered my meal with Chorizo (Soy) and when I ended up opening it, (It was to go), it was steak on it instead. The California Burrito I also bought was really dry and didn't have sour cream and guacamole included so it was dry and plain. My friend ordered hers without sour cream and it had sour cream all over it. It was very frustrating that the orders were incorrect and not very good. Decent and a much needed food option added to the Silverdale mall. For those of you who do not know, Silverdale mall does not have a full blown food court. With the recent addition of Taquiza, that puts the restaurants within the mall at five - three full blown dine in restaurants and two food court type restaurants. So let's talk about Taquiza. It is yummy, it is affordable, and easy to find/access if you are inside the mall. Customer service is nice, patient, and friendly. Food is seemingly cooked A La Carte with a variety of Hispanic drinks options and a small choice of desserts. Being very familiar with authentic Hispanic food I would give the flavors and quality of Taquiza a passing score. Do not get me wrong, there are better Hispanic food options nearby in Silverdale however if you are in the mall and jonesing for a quick bite, this will suffice. For what Taquiza is, whenever I am inside the Silverdale mall I will probably go have a quick bite and be on my way because of the convenience and decent food options. I also recommend that if you are in the mall to check this place out, you will not be disappointed but do manage expectations. read more

First time eating here and I'm happy to report Taquiza is a great addition to the Kitsap Mall food court! The food was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice and heat. The sauces were particularly good. My only negative feedback would be based on my own self admitted cultural ignorance. There are no descriptions on the posted menu stating what's inside some of the menu item and it lead to some leaps of faith for me. For example, the burrito I ordered was listed as the "Cali" so I incorrectly assumed it was some kind of chicken, rice and avocado. Wow, this place is very good. And the fresh homemade salsa's are bomb. We had the Asada and Pastor taco and I would definitely go back.

Eaten here several time, my wife and I think it's some of the better Latino food in the area. The breakfast burritos is the best I've had since leaving California. Cashier and cook area always courteous and Kind.
