Finally tried out this spot that's literally a hidden gem. They were not busy at all when I came in; no one inside sitting down or ordering which was nice (didn't feel sketchy at all tbh). The cashier was still very enthusiastic when I was ordering and although I am fluent in Spanish, sometimes I just want to order in English so I was very happy to find that the cashier was very fluent in English as well. There are traditional flavors, unique flavors and comfort flavors of a south of the border spin. Tarascos can always be counted on a tasty treat on any day. The staff is quick and efficient and pricing is right where it should be. However their chocolate banana, while one of my favorites, has had its price more than double of the past few years. I came in on a Friday afternoon. Overall, the atmosphere was cute, and I love the ambiance of the room. There was only one worker that I met, and it was a slow afternoon. She recommended the tres leches flavor ice cream to go with my "Churros a la mode" order, and that flavor was delicious. The only downside was the restrooms.
