My friend had SMILE done by Dr. Lee about 9 months before I began diving seriously into the procedures. I met with 2 other clinics, but ultimately chose CCRS because of the fact that my fiance and I met with Dr. Lee during the consultation itself. He stayed with us for almost an hour to walk me through my options and his recommendations. He appeared to be intelligent, empathic, humorous, and above all, he was straight with me. Other clinics with a dedicated marketing operations team are a lot more sales-y, so I felt more comfortable with Dr. Lee, and all my appointments have been so streamlined and efficient. I was a good candidate for either SMILE or LASIK, but based on my preferences for longevity, I went with LASIK. Paperwork and pre-procedure instructions were sent to me in advance, and overall I think it went smoothly! I wasn't bothered at all by the lasers as I knew what to expect. I'm currently on days 5-6 of recovery and will be seeing Dr. Lee in another follow-up appointment next week. My vision continues to fluctuate a bit but that's a normal part of healing. My fiance is also interested in getting his refractive surgery done by Dr. Lee, and I recommended a family friend to him recently too. CCRS has free parking onsite, located nearby excellent Korean food, and facilities are super clean. Staff are friendly and highly efficient. So far, I'm happy with my results, which I hope will continue to improve.

However, a couple years later, one of my eye regressed very quickly to a point where I couldn't see clearly driving (pretty much driving reliant on my one good eye). So I decided to return for a 2nd lasik procedure. The first time I didn't feel any pain and thought it was a very fast procedure. The 2nd time, however, there were pain and I was actually squirming trying to hold off the pain. Procedure went well for another couple years. Fast forward to today, the vision in one eye is very bad while the other eye is slowly regressing, no longer 20/20. I know I had bad astigmatism but I was under the assumption that it would at least last many years before it regressed again. My questions are , do you guys offer free post touch-up laser surgery? I would love to get a fix or and adjustment. I work night shift and it's making it very hard to drive at night, especially with the halos and headlights. My 2nd question, do you recommend any other procedures besides Lasik for a permanent fix? I feel like a 3rd lasik procedure would be risky and cause too many side effects.

When I said I wish you had kept my information private, her response was "We don't have a private room." Think on that for moment. Further - they now charge you upfront money beyond your co-pay prior to submitting to your insurance. they are profiteers. You have been warned. Note: this is the second bad office experience I've had with them and the first time ever I've had an issue at a doctor's office in 45 years. I had cataract surgery in with Dr. Devgan last month and I can now add my 5-star review to his many…read moreother glowing reviews. I have a lazy eye (amblyopia) which means I only have one good eye. I was apprehensive about doing the surgery so I did many hours of research and had consultations with other highly reputable surgeons. But I found that none of them came close to Dr. Devgan in terms in knowledge and experience. After all, he is The Cataract Coach and has performed over 40,000 surgeries, including many for other ophthalmologists. Plus he spent a great deal of time during my consultation reviewing my images taken in his office, discussing lens options, explaining the surgery process, and patiently answering my many questions. Dr. Devgan loves what he does and his passion is evident when you meet with him. Additionally, everyone on his staff is very pleasant and professional. And Dr. Devgan gives his patients his email and cell number so we can contact him with any questions. I texted him on three occasions and he responded immediately! I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience…read more During my last visit, the physician did not perform an eye examination. A technician performed retinal imaging and a vision test and told me there were no changes from my previous visit, when I had been examined by a reputable retina specialist who no longer works at this practice. I was not examined by the physician, Dr. Benjamin, who was on site that day. Afterward, I obtained my medical record and found multiple diagnoses that are incorrect and would require an eye examination to diagnose. The chart also documented symptoms and conditions that I did not have. What alarmed me most was that I was provided with a tear duct scan that did not belong to me. The scan was timestamped after I had already left the office, and the patient's name appeared to be handwritten rather than printed by the imaging system. This raised serious concerns for me about the practice's recordkeeping, patient privacy, and the accuracy of my own medical record. The practice also refuses to produce the native imaging with patient PII embedded in the images.

Going to his office for the yearly visit is a constant reminder of how our society treats special needs kids and their parents. I am not talking or expecting any special care , I'm talking about just the basics and respecting the appointment time. For the past 3 years every time the dr sees us after he's done with all other appointments until they see all their other patients. This year as an example, me and my child had 3 pm and 3:30 pm guess what the Dr sees me int the test room and says hi Ms. ( my name) I will see you in Rome 6 and that was at 3:17, he acknowledged that he knows we are here and he saw us. After the assistant took us to the exam room and closed the door on us. I open the door when I heard him talking to the assistant in the hallway asking her what room is his 4:30 pm appointment and in what exam room, he goes I will see my 4:30 appointment then 5:00 then I will see the family in room 6. Once I heard that, I opened the exam room door the assistant sprinted and I said execuse me execuse me she pretended not hearing a thing. It was 4:37 pm. Before the Dr came to see us. This us the 3rd year that happened to us. My child isn't a wild child, you might think trouble child... not at all not a verbal child that's all. So, for us to feel treated this way and the humiliation that I have to deal with every time I go to this office makes me go home balling. For children with special needs and when the child gets frustrated after almost 2 hours in the waiting room, then when the dr comes in to check their eyes the child doesn't cooperate anymore because the get frustrated and tired after the long wait. So, you wasted the yearly visit and there's nothing you can do about it. Let me not forget the parking tickets I receive after each visit as the parking meter is 2 hours max and street parking is also 2 hours max. Last year I thought they treats us different because I get my glasses at Costco not from them because it's $400 less at Costco. I am sorry, I will never treat someone or put someone down regardless the reason. You may think why she doesn't take her child and go to a different office, I tried to find another office, either too far or not accepting new patients. Life is too short. I believe in Karma you get what you put out. Sometimes I wonder if the HIGH turnover is an indication of something in that office. Every time after my yearly visit to Dr. Koh's office , I hug my child very hard and CRY myself to sleep. I pray that God may change people's hearts to treat special kids and their families with the same respect and dignity. Nothing more or less.
