Closest to where I live, walking distance actually. Good sized store, although I like the one in Mission Viejo closer to my parents' house. It has a bigger layout, including a produce section. All in all, not bad. What's funny though is the store stays open late, like 11pm, but their in-store Starbucks closes an HOUR earlier than the Starbucks location that's in the same shopping plaza, so don't expect to get your fix after 8pm! *TIP* Almost forgot: If you aren't aware of the Target Cartwheel app, you NEED to download it! Savings on top of savings people!! I don't know WHY they haven't marketed it more widely, because I go more often with all the added app discounts. read more

I've been to the guest services desk twice on two different occasions and was helped by the same lady named Lisa. She is the most unfriendly and rude person I've ever had help me. She snapped at me the last time I returned something. That is completely unacceptable. Management needs to do a better job in hiring people. read more

This is my local Target so I come here quite often. Target has better quality items than its competitors. However, the grocery section for cold items is not that large unfortunately. They are good for most items though. This location also has a Starbucks in it. The customer service here is also pretty good. I recommend coming here! read more

This is my least favorite Target. It's smaller, does NOT sell alcohol, and has the smallest grocery section ever. The manager said this Target is prohibited from selling alcohol because they operate next to a grocery store. You're better off driving another 3 miles to the Target in Mission Viejo on Alicia Pkwy, just on the other side of the 5. read more

It's my favorite store! The place is always clean. Staffs are friendly and very updated on store . One time when we were shopping there they had the "cartwheel" deals - 20% off. I did have it on my phone but was unable to pull it out. The staff used her phone to get the offer and made it available for me. I know I am not alone when I say that Target is my refuge for retail therapy. I love this location because it's closest to my house and the staff is always exuberant and helpful. Sometimes it astounds me how nice they are for working a retail job. Returns are fast and items are always available. When I stopped by yesterday evening, it looked like something was going down big-time. There were police surrounding a minivan with for Hispanic people sitting on a curb. The policemen were going through the people's car one item at a time. It appeared they had shoplifted. I went to target to activate a Consumer Cellular account on Friday evening. The guy working there in Laguna Niguel set me up on 8/10/2018 saying that 1 GB would be more than enough for my needs. I told him that I ran my MacBookAir laptop off it. I had to come back Sunday because calls were dropped and I couldn't open the apps I needed for my business. The only guy in the store who could help me was the same person who initially set me up and he smirked as he refused to give me service so I could get 10 GB for my iPhone. I complained to the floor manager then a male security guard told me that "Sayeed" had told him that " I was a problem yesterday". But I hadn't come in yesterday I came in 2 days earlier and I was no problem at all. So I had to go away with my tail between my legs and seek service elsewhere. I don't feel comfortable going back to the store because I've been humiliated in front of all the employees. read more

The Target is one of the best I ever been to. And I go to Target about twice a week. I was helped this morning by Lance the manger on duty. He ran a very tight ship. I was waiting for a Nintendo Classic Mini early morning to the time they opened at 8AM. There were so many people who wanted this item. Lance was very professional and friendly. Especially they only had two. He did a great job to ensure everything was fair and provide safety for the customers & his staff. This Target is so-so. It definitely is a lot cleaner than the one off of Alicia but it's not that big. The Mecca of all Targets around here is the new one at the Irvine Spectrum. I know those of you who are devoted Target fans are going to criticize me for saying this but... I'd rather drive up a little more and go to Walmart! It's cheaper! I know it's dirtier and messier, but the stuff I want are always in the clean areas so I don't mind. I also don't the design of where you turn in. The lines are not drawn clearly and with the divider you often have people almost hitting each other because they are confused on which lane they should be in. read more

This Target is ok, the one at Irvine Spectrum is much nicer. I love the $1 stuff when you first walk in, you can always find little things for various holidays or for a quick gift. The clothes are ok, but don't fit well. I always like looking through the clearance shoes because there is usually a good pair for cheap in there somewhere. I love the holiday stuff/greenhouse/outdoor area. Sometimes you can find good stuff on clearance, other times the sales prices aren't bad. I agree about the parking lot, it is crazy. I always park on the greenhouse side, way in the back. No sense in fighting the soccer moms for an up front spot. read more

Worst black friday ever, im not a huge black friday shopper but i usually pop by target. NOTHING HAD SIGNS UP- and no this isn't a complaint on the sales- its a complaint on the fact that everything on sale had 0 signs?? Like did they get lazy and not want to add them? I saw like 1 every department maybe, or if a product had 2 spots only 1 was signed-the amazon firesticks for ex- Had no signs, my dad said around the back in a hidden spot they did though? Half of what i bought ended up being on sale( wich is great, no issue of course) but would have bought more if i knew they were actually on sale? This Target is undergoing restorations to make it more modern and it's nearly finished. It's open until 11pm on weekdays so I like to go when I feel like browsing and all other stores are closed. Since I usually go late at night, parking isn't an issue for me but there have been times during the day where I have to park closer to Stater Bros. Really though, that's not a complaint... it's an excuse to get more exercise. I think we're a little spoiled for parking living in socal. The dollar section is a dangerous place for me and I like going through the clearance clothing section for super cheap outfits. 75% off is hard to beat for fast fashion. read more

This Target is still in the process of being renovated. What an awesome improvement! They've completely reorganized the perimeter of the store so, if you were previously a regular, you'll have to get used to the new layout. The payoff is that the aisles are wide and clean. The store is more spacious and bright. They've added a Starbucks so you cans sip while you shop. One downside of this Target is the parking. Whoever designed the lot deserves a dope slap. When you enter from Pacific Park you can turn into a small lot. The exit for the lot is confusingly oriented so that it seems like you should exit into oncoming traffic. Recommend read more

Love this Target. It's my go-to place to get all my necessities. Every time I go to Target now I find myself stuck in the DVD section looking for a deal aka a $5 movie. I've found some great movies for cheap here. Other than that, I just consider Target to be a classier place to get all your needed supplies around the home. read more

This was my default Target growing up in South OC, and I still appreciate it, though other reviewers are right in saying it's a little run down now (compared to the rest of the sparkling Laguna area). Also true is the fact that parking is kind of a pain... but as I've said before, coming from LA, any parking lot is a blessing. I recently adventured to this Target to wait in line for the Jason Wu collection and was pleasantly surprised to find only 20-30 people waiting in line in front of me... and no real chaos when the doors were opened. Yes, people started to run, and yes, people grabbed more than they probably need to/should have, but overall, I thought it went well. (Maybe I'm saying that because I ended up with things I liked?) I'm normally not the type to shop at Target, but when I decide that I need to go somewhere quick and easy, this particular Target location is where I choose. For example, this year I was one of those "procrastisantas" (aka I still hadn't done any Christmas shopping on December 23rd...oops!). I went to this Target expecting it to be packed with a bunch of crazy last-minute shoppers, but it was surprisingly calm and civilized. I was able to get in, get some gifts, and get out in a relatively short time (compared to how long I've spent at other Target locations). Overall, the reason I gave them only 3 stars (instead of the 4 I thought about giving them) is because their selection is pretty small. I couldn't find a single cookbook that my sister would've wanted, a couple things were out of stock, and their clothes selection was lacking. I'm sure some of this was because of the Christmas rush, so next time I go, I'll check and see if I should revise this review. read more

So she went to StaterBrothers and every single item my wife was looking for, StaterBrothers had in stock. Customer service is horrible with the managers. Marlene was incredibly rude and I'm so tired of how awful she is to me on a weekly basis! It concerns me she is a manager. This is probably one of the worst targets I've ever been to. I wish I had taken a picture of the shoe isle to post by my daughter was with me and if your a mom you know what that means! It literally looked like someone had taken a bulldozer and just dumped shoes everywhere, I couldn't even push the cart down the isle. The grocery section had expired foods and was out of things they had on advertisements. It was just an unorganized hot mess. read more

My mom and I went to target because she needed a gym bag. When we got there we shopped around. My mom found a gym bag but it was folded & fastened with 3 plastic (the one they use for price tags). She asked an associate if he could remove it and he said absolutely not since that's the way through the manufacture. My mom and I thought that was ridiculous so she went to customer care and she wanted to speak to a manager to explain the dilemma to the associate. Another associate heard her and said "I can just cut that for you." Why did that other associate give her a different story? We started to head over to the checkout and my mom asked what the return policy is? The checkout lady mumbled which made it impossible for my mom to understand. She was trying to convince my mom to open a target card. Why couldn't she just answer her question and say 90 days! Very poor communication!!! read more

This target needs to be remodeled and better supplied. For the area it just needs to be bigger, better organized and have a larger supply. Seems like other targets have a better selection and are easier to navigate through. Clothes are not organized or hung up correctly, it is hard to find what you are looking for and a size. The self serve checkouts are good so you don't have to stand in line as long and it is nice to have a Starbucks upfront. read more

Recently moved back to Laguna and since Nordstrom's is so far with traffic and all, I've been hitting Target on La Paz. The clothing line they carry is hip n trendy reminiscent of my Nordstrom's days in Spokane WA. I was utterly impressed with the boho prints and styles..Way to step it up Target!! Who-Knew?? Was self checking out when I realized I forgot to activate my new credit card today, but Tim, the Manager calmed me down as I was embarrassed & ready to ditch my shopping spree. He said, "no worries at all take your time call the number in the card, should only take 3-minutes." He did not ask me to step aside nor cancel my transaction. Way to go Tim!! Then I acknowledged to him Target is my new Nordstrom's Rack!!! It really is!! I met Alse the store Mgr as I was all happy and heading out the door.. told her the same thing.. Ordered photos online got email confirmation photos were ready for pickup. Went to the store to pickup and the first woman I spoke to didn't know how to find the photos and the second woman said they lost my photos. I had to wait an hour for the manager to come speak to me. Time before I ordered photos some of pictures came up scratched and destroyed. Luckily the manager was kind and gave me a discount. read more

Yes it ships in 2 days but when the merchandise comes from the east coast and south, as my recent order did, it takes 7-10 days to get here.
