ugh I've never hated a Target location so much! So about a month ago, I RESERVED a copy of a game. Got the reserve card for $1 and figured I would pay it when I come to pick it up. So today I tried to pick it up at the electronics department, and the guy tells me to pick it up in the front. So ok here I go to the front to pick up my game. I get to the front and lady who barely speak english says "Ok your total $1"...And I tell her I reserved the game already and that I was there to pick it up. Lady tells me "I don't know what that is, what game do you want to get?" and again I tell her the game is on the reserved card itself. So some lady who seemed to be in charge in the front comes up saying "What game did you want?" and so I give her the same answer saying I wanted the Super Smash Bros for 3DS then she goes "Where is the game?" and I told her how the guy in the electronics sent me to the front. And she goes to tell me no go back to get the game.... Ok so I'm off to the back of the store again towards the electronics department. I see the same guy again. I said I wanna pick up my RESERVED game just as the card had indicated. The guy tells me "Oh we don't reserve games"....I tell him "then why did the guy I purchased the reserve card from tell me it reserves me a copy of the game?" and the guy goes off to tell me that my "reserve card" only gives me the $5 giftcard. Ok so everyone who was working at Target tonight was basically clueless and didn't know smack about their job! Terrible experience on 11/6/2018, 4:30 PM Aliso Viejo's Target on La Paz management and customer service department need a lot of training how to handle a customer's return. The phrase "Customer is always right" does not apply here and they use a very rude approach if a customer is from another part of the world. My wife had a bad experience with one of the customer service counter employee(Samuel) who refused to take an item back due to allergy and raised his voice while pushing the item toward her. This should never have happened. The employee should have called his supervisor or next level up and prevent escalation of the case. My wife responded in anger with disbelief why he throw the items at her and finally the manager was called and she asked my wife to leave the store. When I asked for the regional manager, she(Sarah) refused to cooperate and called the sheriff for help. Only an incompetent store manager can go that low. Target is a public company on a public land. We never saw the sheriff and left on our own. The store manager owe us an apology or she chooses to join the unemployment line soon. The way I see it, Target is next to go out of business after all the big department stores. read more

Don't get me wrong I love Target, But not this particular location. First off the parking lot is always horrendous, I always end up parking in Egypt. The selection was bad, Tiny "Marketplace". The staff was really nice but didn't know what they were talking about. I asked where the power strips were and lady sent me to the complete opposite side of the store. Honestly, I would give this target more stars if their customer service was better. This is the closest one to me, but at this rate I might start driving to another location. I paid for my items and had one I wanted them to price match, the cashier had the manager come, she said I needed to do that at guest services.. So I paid and then went and waited in line at guest services for 10 minutes, when I'm helped I'm told they aren't price matching since its Black Friday... Um... Why would I pay $25 bucks for a Blu Ray DVD that is on Amazon for $13 and I get free 2 day shipping? I of course just left the dvd, no need to buy from them if they're going to be greedy. Target doesn't even have that good of sales, might as well just go to Walmart/Best Buy or definitely Amazon! For a minute there I was going to give this place more stars but honestly, there's no point when they just brush their customers off and don't even have the curtesy to look at me when turning down price matching. Also, I heard the same manager who told me to go to guest services scolding an employee about there being a line and next time she needed to stop whatever she was doing and open a register. If you're skimming your Yelp app looking for a nearby Target, skip this one and go to the one off Alicia Parkway just east of the 5. Yes, there is another Target ONE off-ramp up, and yes, that does seem Starbucks-esque. But that Target has been upgraded with grocery stuff and is in much better condition than this one. read more

Came in for a knife set and possibly a mixer. Found their stock of mixers didn't have the color we wanted and the knife set we wanted wasn't in stock either. We departed for another location which the staff was nice enough to stock check and find the knife set we desired in stock. This is a Target. It sells things. I suppose it's pretty good, as far as Target stores go - it has a Starbucks inside and a pharmacy with limited hours, and the selection is reasonable. Larger stores do have more selection, however, and there's no fresh produce here - try the one on Jeronimo or in Irvine Spectrum for that. The reason I go to this one so much is that I can walk there in less than 15 minutes, so it's very convenient. read more

I like this Target location because of its proximity to my house, but I really wish that they had a larger food section. I try to do a good amount of my grocery shopping at Target, since they have such good store coupons. However, because this location doesn't have a fresh food section (actually, not much more than a freezer case and about 4 aisles of food), I have to take my business to the newer Target off Jeronimo in Mission Viejo. It's a farther drive, but I can get everything I need at this other store. read more

We were given a 20% Off coupon for turning in an old car seat. The Coupon purported to discount car seats, strollers and select baby items. The baby items were listed. We then attempted to use the coupon and any of the items listed and none worked. We then called target customer service, waited on hold for 20 minutes to no avail. It's says open at 7am on the website. Came here and it opens at 8am. I am watching swarms of people parking and walking to door to see it is closed. I hope they immediately correct the website as this is a major hassle for people. I think I'm ready to start buying exclusively online with Amazon. I've already had a purchase cancel after I bought through Target online because this location didn't have any in stock but sold to me anyway. They offered to find and ship but after accepting the offer I get another email a couple of hours later stating they don't know when it will ship and can't ship as promised on the earlier email. In my opinion, this is the least desirable Target in the area. It feels dirty at times and customer service is pretty shoddy, at best. Sometimes, the cashiers don't even greet you or thank you. Most of the Target stores in the immediate area are closing their garden centers and getting spruced up with new grocery isles. This one, is closing their garden center, but there is no evidence of new improvements inside the store. Unfortunately, this is the closest Target store to me so, I don't have a lot of options when I need to run in quickly to purchase something. When I do have extra time, I will drive the extra few miles to a different store. read more

This location was recently renovated and it seems to have a reasonable amount of stock on most items so I cannot complain about that. They do seem to run out of specific sizes of men's undershirts though. I enjoy shopping here for the most part but I a not a fan of the team members working the service desk. They always have attitude and make you feel as if your are inconveniencing them by returning Target items. They handle your return quickly but are flat out rude at times. No "hello, how can I help you" or "welcome to target." Overall I am happy shopping here and the renovation made a major, positive difference in the store's feel and flow. I would recommend this target to anyone looking for one close by. Very convenient. read more

I've been in Target stores all over Southern Calif and the Scottsdale, Phoenix AZ area, and this one is by far the worst I've ever been in. It's small, dark, hot and always a mess. On several occasions I've seen about 5 people who all seem to be employees huddled in one isle around the cleaning products pretending to stock shelves and gabbing with each other. They seemed put out when I interrupted them once to ask where something was. Usually when you ask for help they take you to the location, but these people couldn't be bothered, and of course the isle they said I'd find what I wanted wasn't there. I've tried going on different days hoping that I would get it right after the shelves had been stocked, but it always seems like one or two things I want are not available. Plus the parking lot is a joke! I wish I could find a newer store that was close to Aliso Viejo. read more

OK the parking is horrible. Why they ever remodeled the way they did and put the door way over near the entrance where cars go in and out I will never know, but it is done. Yep, I hate that. What I love: I can shop in peace and quiet! unlike their competitors who have music and TVs going. I can actually think because I am not constantly distracted and there is actually room in the aisles to move. I like that their products are a higher quality than walmart. This store and San Clemente usually have a better selection than the one off of Alicia and the 5 fwy. Hey, people they do price matching. I was in the store and saw an item I wanted, but found it on the internet just down the street for less with a coupon. Moises at self checkout is very unprofessional. I came in to target wanting to spend only 40$. However, I ended up spending 60$. I brought in 40$ in cash with me. When I was at South check out my total came out to $60. I was like OK cool I'll use the $40 in cash and put the rest on my card. I forgot that I cashed out all the money in my account so I don't spend it. Moises ran to my register and yelled ma'am your card declined in front of everyone. And he Went ahead and tried to cancel my transaction. I wanted to transfer money from my savings to my checking account so I can use my card and not have to go outside to get cash from my car. But of course I couldn't do that because the customer service representative had suspended my transaction and said get back in line. Shame on you Moises read more

Inventory is bad here. Too many things not stocked up properly. Especially the baby section. The nipples and bottles are always missing stuff. Very poor selection because of this. The parking lot is also awful. If i do go here I park far away just so i don't have to fight with people trying to get a spot in the small fitting parking lot.
