Love this Target! They have so many cute little decor things. Parking is challenging but the selection in store is worth the parking lot.

This is my "home" Target and I love it. It's easy to find everything and they have a great garden section. The two newer locations (Lake Forest and Spectrum) are more amazing as far as content including clothing and food/booze, but are also really large and hard to find things in. I now walk to this location and it's my favorite for a quick stop. The parking is bad, but workable. It's my fave. read more

Stay away from this Starbucks inside this Target. The gal that served me at 9:15am on May 15, 2016 was just plain rude and clearly had no interest in her job or customer service. Told me it would be delivered. 3 weeks later and several updates with new arrival times and they finally say they can't fulfill order. Awful experience. Everything was marked wrong. My son picked out a bunch of Pokémon items from both the toy section and a front Jake and everything was marked wrong. Every single thing was 20-30 dollars more than marked. My son was so sad. They just said "sorry not our fault. The vendor sets it up". So we left all the items we were to buy and walked out with my son in tears. read more

This Target was recently remodeled but other than the exterior and entrance (and moving literally everything from its old location), I am not sure what was done. The parking lot and the overflowing trash cans have always bothered me about this particular Target. The trash cans in the front overflow to the point where people just throw trash on the ground in the general vicinity of the trash can. Positives are that they generally seem like they are well-stocked and the hours (open until 11pm) are very convenient. read more

I went to Aliso viejo target tonight (8/31/18) to return a stroller that I got for a gift that I did not need. Since I didn't have a receipt I figured I would get store credit to use on something that I actually did need. The first Target associate was having problems so he called another over, Donna. She said without a receipt she could not return it because she said there was no way to know it was from target. I showed her that the box said target on it and they were selling the exact same one in store! She still refused to return it and could not give a reason as to why she would not return it. When I asked her for her associate number she said she did not have one... Donna was rude and unprofessional. The most frustrating part is she didn't have any kind of reason for why it couldn't be returned, she just kept saying it couldn't be returned without a receipt. I will not be going to the aliso viejo target store anymore. Good luck returning anything without a receipt if Donna is working. read more

I have been very unhappy with this location because the lines are long and the shelves are empty. Sure the ones that I dont need are always full but try going here for meds and vitamins and they are out of stock. Bathrooms are always dirty and stinky too. I love Target and am a frequent shopper at many different locations throughout Orange County depending on where I am. However, every time I come to this location, I always tell myself that I wish I would of gone to the one in RSM. The parking lot for this one is laid out really weird....it's hard to get in and out of and it is always full. Also, there are usually carts scattered all over the parking lot. This target has removed the express lanes and changed them to self check out which I'm not a fan of because it never works right and always ends up taking longer, and the cashiers have to come help you anyways because it doesn't work......people avoid the self check out lines which means the regular lines are longer. There are always people waiting in line here. I really hope they listen to customer feedback and ditch the self check out. I love the target brand and the convenience of being able to buy so many things under one roof.....but I'm not a fan of this particular location. read more

I want to start this review off by saying that I love target. However, after recently moving to Aliso Viejo from another area, I now do 99.99% of all my shopping online. I want to keep this review succinct so here are the main points. 1.) Parking is horrible. I have encountered the rudest people of my life in this lot. I have lived all over the USA and internationally. The rudest and most aggressive people ever. If I have the misfortune to have to come to this target, I park in the supermarket parking lot next door and walk. Yes, it's that bad. 2.) The employees honestly do not look like they care. Most other targets I have frequented the employees greet you with a smile and small chit chat. Not at this one. Either they are totally apathetic or seem to be irritated by something. I have personally seen an instance where they reprimand a target customer for how their children were seated in a cart. Seems ridiculous and totally unnecessary. 3.) I have found availability of items to be limited here. If I ever do a "pickup order" I find 9 times out of 10 they don't have it at that store but ones in MV or Laguna Woods do. So I usually just have it shipped to me. 4.) There is always a long line at the customer service desk. Be prepared to wait and wait. I don't know if this is a staff issue or not but virtually no other targets I usually shop at have this problem. My recommendation is to try online shopping and if you must venture to a target avoid this one. read more

This rating is for the manager Lilly, she is not very accommodating and need to be trained in customer service again if she has not already. I went to this target location because two of her employees stated that a certain deal came out on the 18th. They were miscommunicated to so therefore I wasn't able to purchase the deal when again they told me that I was able to. So I asked for the manager, lance came first and was very friendly and knew how to talk to people. I asked for the manager again to ask another question so I asked for a manager again so lily came but I waited for almost 20 minutes for her to come and she was not very accommodating and said that she wasn't able to do anything for me even though she was a "manager" on the same level as Lance. She did not smile or try to offer anything just said no and that was it. I work for hotels where customer service is prevalent. She seems to be there just to get a paycheck and leave. She just lost the store almost $500 paying guest because she can not accommodate. read more

Not the nicest Target. It is fine if you need something basic (like bandaids or sugar) but if you want something else (like a specific type of salad dressing or a big selection of baking mixes, for example), go to the Target on Jeronimo in MV or the one at the Spectrum. Those two are much bigger and much better stocked. I always end up at this Target (because I'm frequently nearby) and the variety of items is so limited. The pharmacy, however, is decent... Everyone I've encountered there is nice and they are quick to fill prescriptions and easy to deal with. read more

Standing in aisle long return line watching 2 employees bust their a** trying to get through customer service line while 5 employees (Inc Mgr eric) stand by watching, laughing talking under the guise of "supervising" the pricing of a ladies swimsuit! Went to Target to purchase some new shorts and picked out two pairs from the clearance rack. Apparently only one side of the rack was on clearance. I spoke with the manager and received no consideration for the mix up, therefore, I cancelled my whole $83 order and walked out of the store. read more

I would leave ZERO starts if I could. The store manager, ERIC HANSEN, is a jerk! Needed to return a towel because of its poor quality holding up after one wash. He refused to return it because the tag had been removed. Said it's now "damaged". How would I know the towels were defective unless it had been washed? Tags being off is irrelevant. It is a Target brand towel, purchased in the store, with a receipt. He even walked to get another towel off the shelf to confirm which towel it was. Why make that effort only to deny the return? I guess my loyalty and the THOUSANDS of dollars I spend at this store were inconsequential over a twenty dollar towel. What happened to standing behind the quality of your products? They should label everything as "final sale". With competitors like Amazon, who needs Target? I will never shop at Target again and I will talk about it with as many people as I possibly can! Update: Called corporate to complain. They couldn't have been more apologetic. Even offered me a gift card. Confirmed that the tags being removed is a non issue. Target brand products should be returned no questions asked, especially with a receipt. They called the store on my behalf and said I could go back to the store and return them; ask for Tanner. I drive all the way over there only for Tanner to tell me NO! I felt an out of body anger I have never felt before. He spoke to Eric while I was en route and Eric told him to stand by his earlier decision. I'm blown away by the power trip. It's so petty and embarrassing. If I wasn't already sure about NEVER shopping at Target again, you better believe there is no doubt now. read more

Hi! I just literally came out of this target location. I always go here. So today whoever took charge as supervisor was very mean and wanted to bullshit us regarding an empty box of guardians of the Galaxy. She literally lied to our face saying that the box is replenished by the vendor. First of all we have been collecting these toys for years now and every target we go always give empty toy boxes away for free even this store once gave us one for free so I don't know what's wrong with this so-called supervisor (she's older Chinese looking lady) but target should do something about how she treats the customers coz she was rude and a liar!!! We know for a fact that the empty boxes just gets thrown away. And we know employees are not supposed to keep them and we just heard one of the the tech guys say he's got his dibs on it! And they were laughing at us as we paid for our other purchases as if mocking us. Worst customer service ever. Target should get rid of employees who are rude and does not have returning customers best interest at heart, just saying! This target never has stock! They have very limited sizes available, every single time I go there. I have a nine-year-old six-year-old and a two-year-old and never do they have the right sizes for my kids. First of all, I'm a Target shopper and have been forever. But...not this store. I asked an employee today for safety pins. He told me they were with the art supplies. So I looked and looked, couldn't find them. I found him again and asked if he would show me, he told me that wasn't is department and went about his business. Even the gal next to me heard and said 'that was rude', and I agreed. Finally asked someone else there who did help me. Left the store spending near $200. Got home, unloaded and couldn't find two things which totaled about $60. Called the store and sure enough, "I" must have left it at the register but they had it. Maybe the 'cashier' didn't give it to me after I paid for it. Now I have to drive 30 minutes back there (yes that's how far it is for me) and pick up my items tomorrow as they will only hold my paid for items that they didn't give to me for 24 hours. I WILL have to find another Target store...even if means driving even further! read more

I have never done one of these, but due to the fact that I had such a bad experience with this target I had to. I recently purchased a phone at this location, because I was told I could get a discount here. When I came in I inquired about the possible discounts available. He didn't really answer me, he just kept abruptly asking me what kind of phone I was interested in. I told him that I was thinking about the iphone 5c, but that I was mostly looking to save money and would be interested in any other device. This was due to the fact that this purchase was unexpected. He just began to sell me the iphone 5c without explaining any possible savings. I decided to go with the iphone 5c because of convenience and because he guarantied me that my monthly rate would stay the same. I doubt he even took the time to look up my monthly rate, and how the purchase of a new phone would affect it. So now I am stuck in another two year contract, with a phone I would not have purchased had I known that my monthly plan would had gone up. I would have given this experience a one star, but I have been here to purchase other things and the experience has always been good. Just don't ever buy a phone here EVER!!! It's just a typical sales man trying to make a buck and will say anything to get you to purchase the product. read more
