I was really taken aback by my experience with a checkout associate today. I had my daughter with me and placed about 12 items on the register, along with my reusable Target bag. When I reached the front, I wasn't greeted at all. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, it's still something I notice. The associate moved my bag to the side and scanned all of my items but didn't place anything into the bag, which I found odd. I looked around and saw other cashiers bagging items as they scanned them for their customers. When she finished, she handed me my receipt and left all of my items sitting there, even though everything easily fit into one bag. I asked if bagging items was no longer part of the process. She responded that they do bag items but said she "has a line," and immediately began ringing up the next customer while bagging their items. I pointed out that bagging is part of the job, but she ignored me. When I asked if she heard me, she said she could bag them, but by then I chose to bag my items myself. It didn't make sense that she used having a line as a reason, especially since bagging items would have kept things moving efficiently. What was more frustrating was that she chose not to bag my items but did so for the very next customer. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. I've shopped at this Target for years and have never had an experience like this. The associate's name was Adrianna. I also spoke with a manager, who mentioned that some customers prefer to bag their own items. However, that explanation doesn't apply when the associate doesn't even ask. The manager also didn't seem particularly apologetic, which is why I'm writing this review. I hope this situation is addressed so other customers don't have a similar experience. read more

If you're looking for these viral squishies don't come to this Target because the manager allows these families to come in with their siblings and they're letting each one take four or more So basically if you have four kids and each of them is taking the max there's nothing left for anybody else and I've been trying for weeks now to get a couple of squishies for my little grandson and every time I get in line around 6:30 when the store opens at 7:00 these moms have their children lined up in front of the door and they run all the way to the toy department and grab all of them it's not fair I've spoken to the manager about it it should be four per family not for per kid in a family so after my attempt again today these moms were so rude when I tried to ask for a couple of them for myself I don't want to come back to this Target I spend so much money in here $300 easy a trip and the fact that this manager is still allowing this to go on I'm beyond angry so I know it sounds silly over a stupid toy but go to these targets and look at the lines of all these adults waiting with all of their families to just run in there and grab them and when Mom told me today but they're for the kids yeah that's right but there's more than their kids in the world that are waiting for these So if you come in with yourself and your two kids all of you should only get four in total it shouldn't be for per kid The boxes that they put out only have about 10 in them So it's not fair to all of us that have been waiting and waiting so forget this location I won't be back... read more

I always do driver pickup outside for ease of service. Order ahead and get email when ready. Young adults bringing items and loading are always hard working and pleasant to talk to. Today was outstanding ! Prior to this trip I tried giving one young man a $50 gift card for BJ's in Brentwood . He turned me down saying he's not allowed to tips by management. Things I liked: - It's clean and organized. - Decent selection on fruits and sometimes they have discounted sales on certain items. - They always update their front seasonal sales area to display good deals. - They have a designated Tesla charging station in the parking lot. - They have a rewards program. - Their customer service 2 exchange and returns department is great. Like REALLY???! I've spent the last 20years where if I get the Target gift card after my purchase that they give you when you spend $X amount. Today (first time in 20yrs) the cashier said she will not and cannot scratch off the gift card, and the customer has to - and shoves it to me. This is at 9:30pm on a Tues, some random cashier says I have to scratch off to view the barcode. She was also very rude. I find that odd. Since I packed my own groceries. WHY - again WHY should we buy groceries or ANYTHING from Target - EVER if we have to suddenly (never had to do this in 20yrs btw) scratch gift cards? TARGET - you need to post to the public that any gift card you give us after we buy YOUR products that we have to SCRATH a gift card? I went to this target to pick up my 2 items! I went inside of the store! There's a button to press so i kept pressing the button hoping the staff will assist me but then... its been 8 mins nobody came! Im very patient so i gave them 5-10 mins! Lol. Unlike where i lived before in Daly city or colma! Staff there are very helpful, and ready to assist you right away! But here lol.... Hahays! I wanted to go home! So what i did! This is my closest Target so it's this or drive further. Due to many goods being behind locked cabinets, it's not the most pleasant or easy shopping experience. I like to take my time and look at items, but because I have to wait for someone to unlock the cabinets, I then feel rushed to make a selection. To top it off, there's not always someone around to assist. It's just not an enjoyable shopping experience. I will say their front register staff are always pleasant and friendly, while being understaffed. They never have enough lanes open but the cashiers work hard to quickly move the lines. Plenty of parking and relatively clean store. It's just not the fun target shopping experience I've enjoyed at other locations. Coming here feels like a chore. read more

Went to the pick up today to pick up an order and they had cones everywhere and trying to figure out what was going on. I thought maybe they moved the pick up window nobody out there but people are waiting. A few parking places people just waiting there find out the electricity was out so they just shut it down. When we first moved to Oakley in 2019 this Target was great. Now it's not the greatest experience. However, this might be simply a situation with *all* targets, I fear. I don't feel welcomed there anymore. Prices are in the stratosphere, everything is locked up, and I can't ever seem to get help when I need it. Let's not even touch on the entire anti-DEI thing, because we all know how that's working out for Target at this point. I am happy to take my business elsewhere. read more

With the help and care of Alice, I was able to figure out who potentially stole my wallet and what ways to go about it next. Nothing out of the ordinary in comparison to other Target stores. Hubbers and I came by because we discovered (through another Target) they sell his favorite socks. (He can get picky!) Not only do they carry it, they were on sale! So we wanted to take the opportunity and do some bargain buys on those particular items. It was easy finding them since it was easy finding the section we need to be at. We did end up more than what we intended to get since they had some fairly priced kitchen utensils also up for sale. The whole place was clean. I didn't really notice clutter. The use of the self-checkout counter was also a breeze, so we were in and outta there in no time. We just happen to be around the neighborhood which is how we ended up here. Good stop overall. Should we find the need, we'll most likely stop by again. read more

I love this target! I always thought it's clean and organized. Some personal items are locked, but I know there must be a reason for it, no complaints. If ever I need something from the glass cabinets, I could most often then not, gets helped. But I want to give a shoutout to whoever is in charge of their music, for the amazing playlist! Good taste! I've heard The Postal service being played here, a little bit of Mr. Brightside and some early 2000's sounds! I just had a knock off a star because their stocks are a hit or miss, especially with diapers. I had to either run to another store because it's out of stock. They train their seasonal employees very good. I came in looking for an item and Bri took the time and stayed with me until she located the item. Usually and employee would just point a direction and say and the isle number which it's always a hassle to find anything that way. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Target, I'd rather shop at Target than Walmart as I can browse and shop without getting a headache or feel bothered all the time. However, I can't help but notice the disrepair the store is in. I have been going to this location a lot since the Pittsburg Target closed down in my area; it was either that or drive further. And... it hasn't gotten better. I will say that. In my previous review, I wrote that they began locking up stuff like Laundry Detergent, Toothpaste, Vitamins, etc. Well, they also began locking up Underwear & Socks (yes, you heard that right). The fact that it now takes a while to get underwear and socks due to it being locked up is just... sad. I understand why they have to do that, but I just think it's insane. Not to mention that sometimes they don't even have the items that are listed online in stock. So that's bothersome tbh. So why do I keep coming here? Because it was either that or go to Walmart, and considering how much stuff is locked up at Walmart, it would just be a huge hassle to get everything you needed, especially if it's locked up. read more

I came during the busy Holiday rush looking for a baby bag for my two week old twins. the baby bags they sell in the baby department were small and looked like a hiker backpacks. But when Brianna approached me and asked me is there anything I can help you with and explained to her I need a over the shoulder strap "baby bag" she directed me to the woman's purses and stayed with me until I found the perfect bag. they need more employees like her at your store. I love, love, love This Target on Lonetree. We always come for one or two things and come out with 20 items. It never fails. I always find what I need. Whether it's grocery items, cleaning or beauty products and clothing. I love Target clothes and shoes. You can also find things like indoor/outdoor furniture, rugs, lamps and more!!! They need a bit of improvement on customer service though. I can't seem to find anyone for help but I always find things myself so it's all good! It's as if the staff all plays this game where whoever doesn't answer the phone the most gets a promotion...maybe that's why I had to call 16 times to the customer service desk and still never got a response. A sweet employee in the pharmacy tried to help me out by transferring me to customer service but every time I would call the call would end as soon as or shortly after I was transferred to customer service. This used to be a really nice target and the service has gone down so much in the last 12 years. I am beyond frustrated with this Target. I came in today to grab a few things that we needed (deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap) it's literally all locked up. They have little buttons to push to call someone but some of the little spots are missing the button and even after you push it you still have to wait, for what I feel was entirely too long, for someone to come unlock the damn cabinet. They've even locked up socks and underwear now. I will be shopping online from now on. Just to simply avoid the stress and frustration of having to deal with these cabinets and the slow workers that come unlock them. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before literally every shelf is locked up. read more

The Order Pickup service is the worst. There is never anybody there to help and when help does come it takes forever for them to get your order. I thought once I got the confirmation that my order was ready to pick up, the worker had already grabbed it and put it in the back of the Order Pickup room? Why is the worker now just grabbing it from the floor and it'll take another good 10+ min for me to actually get it? The service was supposed to be quick and easy but it obviously wasn't. Wow lots have changed with Target within 11 years of my last review!! New update with everything hygiene related is now behind locked glass. Face wash, face cream, soap, detergent etc At first I thought it was a sliding door to keep things neat but it's locked and you need to call for someone (there is a call button) for a Target team member to open. I imagine that this is going to get old fast. Gone are the days where we read the back of the product to see if it was right for us and held it in our hands. Team member is standing next to you with other patrons waiting their turn to point for their item. Better hurry up! I realize this is the new way in stores that are compromised daily with theft and homelessness. So sad! Other than that this is a nice Target and I do have to say the Team members work hard and are friendly. Most Items appear to be stocked. Forget about the makeup section it's been picked over so many times that probably one lipstick is available. I will still make my Twice yearly trek in the early AM hours but Amazon is becoming my fave. Tip: wear earbuds for a pleasant shopping experience. Target in Brentwood was the place to go to. Not sure what happen to Brentwood. When it started up here I would go here weekly. Somehow I have seen people not pleased about the remodel this store has gone through but that is all Targets in the Bay Area being remodel lately. Even the stuff you want to get are out of stock. I believe this Target should get respected for the people that come here. They would have to go to Antioch Target if this location didn't exist. I do understand the strangers that hang out here. There is no way to avoid them but just walk in and walk out without making any contact with them. The inside of this location is OK but that is just Target. Every Target I gone into have similarities...it can be messy! It can get busy inside because people love to shop at Target. Target is a target of having people shop here. Bathroom is GROOOOOSSSSS!! EXTREMELY disgusting. Target is too big of a brand and makes way too much money for the bathrooms to be in the condition that they were in. This is a very nice Target. Not always stocked as welit should be but it's not their fault. We had trouble with the old Pharmacy but that's gone now. Gave my daughter heart medication in with pain medication which was hers. They thought it was funny. Today, once again though I was stuck in line while the clerk is opening Red Card accounts for customers. That takes too much time to be done at the registers on the weekends. Please stop. The store is just too crowded. You add to an already long wait. Send them to customer service or add a kiosk just for that. UPDATE!!! The worst experience ever. AND IT GETS WORSE!!
