I've had the displeasure of going into the Starbucks store at Target. Don't they teach their staff the way to do things correctly? Before I ordered, I asked the young lady to please wash her hands; after which she took a clean cup out of the sleeve with her dirty hands that were in her hair and on her phone previously. Once she washed her hands - to her extreme displeasure I had her get a clean cup and throw the other one away. I took a 1 week course in how to serve Starbucks several years ago before I moved here. It was very valuable. These kids (2) that were behind the bar should have spent their time cleaning the mess and reviewing the Starbucks manual. Instead both were on the phone with one guy leaning up against the cash register while cashing me out. My eyes scanned everything. Target if you can not teach and teach them the correct way maybe you should not be selling food and drink products. No one wants other people greasy hair on their cup. And to make matters worse she got the order wrong and had to correct it. read more

I probably shop here way too often but they always have cute things that scream "take me home!". I fly overseas pretty often (1-2 times a year) with 2 younger kids so I got a system down like feeding them food before boarding, having lots of snacks, and also preparing small toys or gifts to keep them under control. Let's talk about small surprises to keep those little hands and mouths busy. To keep things tidy, I normally get those coloring books that use the magic ink to appear for kids under 3.5 year old. I also would have tiny tubes of play doh handy. I learned my kids really appreciate me when I bring glow sticks that could be turned into bracelets or necklaces so they wouldn't be afraid of the dark. Those small dollar items may not seem much but it adds up quickly. That's why I always take advantage of the annual 10% off gift card in December, normally a week after the Thanksgiving break. It only lasts for 2 days and you need to have a red circle account set up before using! The max a person can purchase is $500 (paying $450) and should all be bought at once. Therefore it's crucial to allocate each gift card carefully, some for teacher gifts the others for bday ...and a bigger lump sum in one that you can normally use. Every penny counts read more

I think it's insane to ask to see my receipt less than 2 minutes after your store clerk watched me ring up and pay for my item. I definitely feel like it's because of how I look. I've NEVER been asked this before, and extremely disappointed in this store. I didn't have to show my receipt but I did to prevent further issues, but I won't be back. read more

I had to pick up a gift for new years since it wasn't available elsewhere. I was surprised how small the crowd was on a Saturday afternoon. There was still plenty to find in store in the after Christmas clearance section. I was surprised as other locations would have been cleared out by then!. Not sure if this location is quite like this often, but I will plan come by when I don't want to deal with the Georgetown crowds. read more

My family and I have been going to this Target for 13yrs now and it has been great in the past as we have spent thousands at this location. Unfortunately, over the last several months management must have changed as they have issues not seen before. There is eight checkout lanes that are never open. They force you to use the four or five self check out stations. They do not schedule enough staff to run at least one or two lanes. Not a big deal if you have less than 15 items or so, but my wife and I had to scan and bag over $300 worth of groceries (cart full). So many items that it doesn't fit on the self checkout station. I understand if it was a rare occasion with staffing issues. But this has been happening for months now. To top off the experience, in the past I was told to go to customer service and they can ring up the groceries. Yesterday, they sad no. I have to use self checkout. Then the manager said he called someone to help at the checkout lanes. Yet, I waited for 10min and no one showed up to help. While I was scanning everything myself, I counted 3 employees working on tasks like putting items back or two, three people standing at customer service. This location no longer cares about the customer experience. read more

This location honestly is one of the worst locations I have the misfortune of going to. Unfortunately, it is the one I live next to. Tonight, I had to run in quickly to grab detergent. I went in at 9:50, making a bee-line for the cleaning aisles when I heard a shrill voice call out behind me "Ma'am??!" I'd already gotten past the Starbucks and into the beauty area when I was called, so I turned around and saw the worker (who I learned was named Abby). I asked "yes?" She said, "We close at 10. That's in..." I cut her off, because what she was doing was so unprofessional and incredibly assumptive. I said "yes. I know. Thanks." She responded in an indignant tone, "We close at ten. Just letting you know." She rolled her eyes and turned around and walked away as though she was trying to prove a point. I turned and kept walking. I have never been treated like that at any target, and because of my work hours, I'm frequently making last minute stops before they close, and I am ALWAYS out before 10. But the fact that she chased me down to do this really struck a nerve. Two weeks ago, I was in around the same time and three pre-teens were rough housing without parental supervision all over the aisles, and knocked into me twice. But not a single employee did anything or said anything to them. But god forbid a customer come in with the intent to actually purchase something when they are still open. THEN they must say something. Abby, I hope you feel better and find fulfillment. read more

It's sad to see how such a beautiful store is being run into the ground. The isles have stacks of boxes and carts with merchandise thrown about. I went inside, one register open and self check. Wasn't that busy. My wife asked me to pick up a pickup order. I check in, waited 30 min for the order outside. I was the ONLY car for 20 min of that. Others got theirs delivered. I go inside and there is a line at customer service and no one there. I asked Security and he scoffed and said rudely "they will be there" and I'm thinking "obviously not because there is a line". So I wait and I go up and they have the online order there and no one was bringing it out! That is the LAST TIME I ever do a pickup order! WTF so that when Amazon relievers next day and it's EASY!!!!!! You may think you have distro centers but you def don't have the service at this location!! You need to hire better people, You notice CFA across the street has super nice and dedicated employees- fire your HR person and hire theirs!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

In pandemic times, this is often THE go-to Target. They often have a better selection of products that are in high demand. Their online ordering/pickup is efficient and, at least in my case, managed to snag me a few items before they ran out of stock. Additionally, the online pickup counter is not the same as the returns counter, which means your chance of being stuck behind someone doing a complex transaction is greatly lessened. Combine that with a good parking lot and a few snacks and gifts at the online pickup counter and you've got the classiest, most user friendly Target in the area. read more

This Target is so nice. It's relatively new, there is abundance in parking in the lot so I'm not constantly fighting for prime parking spots. It provides me with Starbucks for my caffeine needs, and I'm off to explore all the items I do not need but spend countless of hours exploring. Seriously, do I need to go through 3 aisles of wine, drinks, and clothes, afterwards I make my way down to the makeup and nail care aisle, then I'll swing by to look at the swiffers, pick up some laundry detergent and then party supplies because I adult like that. Yeah, it's a nice Target. 4 stars though because compared to my neighborhood target on Great Hills, they have self check out lanes which I adore. Other than that, get your retail shopping on over here, walk around feeling fancy, and drive away happy that you went to a swanky Target. read more

This is a rather 'meh' Target. It's got an ideal location near the 2222/620 interchange, a pizza area and coffee bar, the place is well kept up, and the employees are friendly. They do have some supply-chain issues, though. My phone-camera suffered a meltdown so I couldn't take pictures, but some of the bread in their grocery section must have been improperly defrosted. The moisture from condensation had pooled at the end of a couple of bags, turning the product into unappealing mush. I've also noticed a significant number of times that they're out of items that I'm there to purchase. These include some types of bread, dry cereal, men's underwear, various types of T-shirts, and light bulbs. It's probably just my bad luck, but none of these items are really what you'd call 'niche-y'. Rather, I think there's a decent chance someone would come in on a random day and want to buy items like these. I still shop there on occasion, but when I need something specific, I'll probably check online or call them in advance. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have had at this Target store. I used to love their "2-hour" order fulfillment with curbside delivery. My last order was a disaster and took more than 4 hours to fulfill. I was also repeatedly overcharged for the same items. Ish, who claimed that he was the store manager, did NOTHING to help the situation. When I asked to speak to the general manager, he said that no one was available. I said that I would call back the next day, but to please provide me with a name (even just a FIRST name) of who runs the store. He said that he "didn't know who that was." When I expressed my doubt that he did not know his boss's name, he simply said that they were "an executive." I have been charged approximately THREE times the amount that I ordered and confirmed this with my debit card provider, Bank of America. I used to love this store, but I will definitely avoid it in the future. Shame on people like Ish, who clearly don't want to help. read more

It is a good target but they force you to check out on your own no matter how many items you have. No check out lines are open- ever. If you ask they say they aren't open but you see workers walking around. I am 6 months pregnant and had a really hard time with the heavy stuff checking things out on my own.This can't be a legit way to run a store- it's sad for people who really need help and expect a store to provide the bare minimum of service. This is the emptiest Target I have EVER seen! I think people just don't know about it because it's tucked away from the road, but it's a great location with tons of parking and nice employees. It doesn't have quite as much selection as some of the more populated stores, but I've never had trouble finding what I need unless it's a suuuuper niche product, like extra sensitive eczema baby wash of a certain brand. I come here with my son weekly so we can stop at Starbucks and stroll the store just to kill time. read more

So I spent the night at my friends house, she lives at belle apartments. She always was allowed to go anywhere by herself, but on the other hand I'm not at all. So when we were both at her apartment bored, she asked if I wanted to go to target by ourselves, I was hesitant because I'm barely allowed to wear short shorts. But I did it anyway. We went there and had so much fun. We got candy, matching shirts, the cashiers were funny and we got the whole dressing rooms to ourselves because nobody was there to give us a room. So when I got home they day after, my mom asked us what we did and I told her we went to target, she asked if we went alone and I said yes very hesitant. She ended up saying, "oh, ok, targets safe anyway Idc". Target, u have passed my moms test of being safe and fun, good job read more

I have been unable to buy something as simple as a half gallon of milk. The milk is in stock in the store however, they will only sell it to me if I come inside the store or if I pay to have it delivered to my house. They will bring peanuts to my car for curbside delivery but not milk. How is it more efficient to have them ship it to me unless they're making a fortune on delivery fees. Time to find a new store. Ordinarily, I would not review a chain store; but, I had such an awesome shopping experience here today with my Mom and Sisters I felt compelled to share... My Sis needed to return some "Santa Gifts" 2 days after Christmas with no receipts - only 2 people in front of her and no problem that Santa did not leave a return receipt! We started off our shopping adventure with some caffeine at the in house Starbucks - if you need food there is also a Pizza Hut where you can get a slice or an individual pie. I went with a tall Iced Latte with an extra shot of espresso that sent me on a shopping high.. At one point I felt I was being stalked by a very cute guy with a young boy who my sister confirmed "did not have a wedding ring".... I found a perfectly fitting fancy blue bra that was discounted to 13.93 and an awesome perfect feather pillow that was only 9.99. My mother felt my pillow and said the feathers felt exceptional for the price!??? read more

I don't know if it's the developing area that has an effect on how well all the grocery stores around here are run or what but I am so impressed with not only the customer service but also how hard working the employees seem to be IN EVERY DEPARTMENT here at this target location. It's a small Target, compared to the Super Target up 620 by 183, so they don't have everything, and seem to run out of smaller clothing sizes and some popular items very quickly. However, it's tucked into the heart of Four Points, adjoining the HEB parking lot, the employees are friendly, they have a Starbucks embedded into the front area, and it's probably one of the main reasons Walmart didn't succeed out here. Better quality for close to the same price, and they treat their employees better. I seem to shop here a lot for things I can't get at HEB. Enter off 2222 only if you're going west. Otherwise, turn into the HEB parking lot and snake your way back to the Target in the woods. The driveways for every other business in between seem to be connected as well. read more

I won't bother reviewing the idea of a Target store because if you're reading this, you know what Target is. I just wanted to put up a review for this particular one because it's not listed, probably because no one knows about it. I almost missed it the first time I was looking for it. So why does this Target deserve 5 stars? This target looks like it just opened and it's 2 years old plus it is never busy, I've been here at almost every hour of the day on any day and it is not crowded. Some times there are less than 5 customers in the store during prime time. This means the shelves are always fully stocked and everything is organized. It also means you usually find a red shirted employee at any moment because they wander in small groups throughout the main aisles. They also have a small grocery section, but since there is not a lot of sell through, I'm not sure I'd recommend getting anything that has a short shelf life. read more

I agree that it's huge and always empty, but those aren't two words you'd often find me using when raving about a place. When I duck in to grab something, it's always empty EXCEPT for the only lane of about 20 that's ever open, which is full of customers apparently shopping for the end of times. And recently, when I couldn't find food storage containers (such as Tupperware or Rubbermaid), I flagged down one the many people milling around in red shirts for a little help. He seemed completely perplexed by what I was describing (food storage containers... those plastic containers for storing leftovers). He first took me to Ziploc bags, then, after explaining that I meant REUSABLE CONTAINERS, he brought me to the casserole dishes and explained that this would be the closest thing to the mythical containers I described. read more

A bonus: They've recently started carrying produce and since nobody shops here, they always have a ton of stuff that's going to expire in ~2 weeks on clearance. We love this Target. It's not the biggest Target ever, but it's big enough. They also do a good job retaining their employees and they always remember my wife and daughter's names. I don't shop there often enough for them to remember my name, but it always stands out when they say "hi" to my wife and daughter when I tag along with them. It's also a big benefit that there's a Starbucks in the store. I'm still completely addicted to their coffee and am glad it's right there. Just like the store, they're good at remembering your name. They also have an Icee machine, which really helps when it's 107 degrees outside, like it's been lately. Lastly, the thing that is by far the biggest benefit is the parking lot. You can always get a spot that's not far from the door. The store itself is rarely ever crowded, so you can get in and out with ease. I'm constantly surprised by how big their lot is and how few cars are in it. I'd blame the economy, but the 2 stores on Research are always packed, so that can't be it. Whatever the reason, it works out great for us since we can always count on a nice shady spot for parking, and short lines at the checkout stand. We'll continue going to this Target time and again. read more

This is a typical Target. It has a Starbucks in the front, which, while I haven't visited, I appreciate having it there in case I need some caffeine assistance. I do find the clothing selection to be a bit spare. They are consistently out of items in my size--that said, it's just as well because the quality of clothing is really hit or miss. It is unusual for clothing to last more than one season (although I have a couple of items I've had for years, so it is possible to find something well made here). There seems to be a gap between children's clothing and adults' clothing--it's a little tricky to find clothing for a teenage girl here (we go to the women's section). The service here is friendly. I am often asked if I need help or employees often just say hello. When I have needed help, it was easy to find a person to assist and have my questions answered. Sometimes I wish they had another checkout or two open, but it has never been a huge setback to getting out of the store. I'm not a huge fan of the layout, but I'm not including that in my rating because I can't really put my finger on why. I think I just preferred the layout of the Target in the last city we lived in. I wish they had a better selection of school supplies. I do not like Walmart, but I have had to go there twice to find what I need in terms of school supplies. On a positive note: I do like what they sell for seasonal decorations. The Halloween decor was really fun. I also love that they sometimes have seasonal candy I can't find anywhere else. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I like Target. I never really buy anything there, but I like to just walk around and look at the home decor items, it's therapeutic for me. I'm a browser. I'm not sure how old this store is, but it looks newer every time I go there I swear. You gotta look out for it though, it's well hidden. I couldn't find it the first couple of time I looked for it.They need a higher sign or something, I think that's why it's never busy, no one knows it's there and it's fabulous. read more

I just wanted to start off by saying, I really do like Target and will continue to shop at Target. This review is based only on this location, the staff and the Store Director. I went to this particular location back in May, which was my first time, and the only reason I went to this location was to pick up a can of WD-40 on my way home from work. Their website said that they may, or may not have it in stock. I went in anyways, and looked around the store. They appear to be going through a remodel, which means the store was kind of a mess. Which was fine, totally understand but products were scattered about and I couldn't find what I was looking for. However, like most of us when we go to Target we still end up leaving with everything but we originally came for. I saw a particular men's face mask on clearance for I believe a $1.19, if not a little less. Which was a great price seeing that it was original $4. So I bought all 9 of them. I went through the checkout line, a nice gentleman rung me up and I went about my day. I checked on the receipt, and saw that I wasn't charged the clearance price that was marked. So I went back to store, and brought one of the face mask back to show that it was supposed to be this price, and my receipt which showed I was charged more than what it was supposed to be. The woman didn't exactly know how to fix the price, so took out her phone and started using the calculator, then she did something on the register and told me she's going to ring it up where it was a missed coupon or... I don't know exactly what she did. She gave me a refund and I went back home. It wasn't till I got home, when I did the math realized that my refund wasn't correct. It was close, but she didn't calculate the tax that I paid and it was off by like a dollar or so. I didn't care to go back, and it was close enough that I was fine with it. I did do the survey though, because it was an inconvenience to me to have to go back, the store was a mess, and clearly items were not marked correctly. I also, just don't like complaining because it's just not in my nature to do so. Especially when I really do like the company and one bad experience at a particular location doesn't mean that it's at all bad... just wasn't their best day. The Store Director, Mr. Murphy ended up sending me an email, apologizing for what had taken place and offered me a gift card for the inconvenience. I accepted his offer, and apology and insured him that I do like Target and wouldn't mind going back and do a more honest review on their store. After that, I've never heard from him again. He never responded to my email, or any of the information he has from my original survey. I waited awhile, but I got the message that he just doesn't care. Which clearly shows, because the store was a mess, prices were incorrect, and the employees didn't know how to fix an incorrect ring up. So, I now avoid this particular location. When I needed to pick up things on my way home from work, this location would have been the most convenient stop because it's not only by my apartment but I have to pass by it to, and from work. However, I have gone out of my way to go to the one on Lakeline Mall instead. The employees there are so much nicer, i can't tell you how many times I can just be walking down an isle and they greet me and ask if I need help. The location is cleaner, and well organized, and I have yet to have any pricing issues. So, I'm giving this particular location one star but the company is 5 all around. read more

its a target, just like every other target! This one has a Starbucks and a sitting area. They don't have any fresh food, but theres an HEB 1 minute away in the same parking lot. The selection is good, the store was clean, cashier was friendly. Always a good place to go when you need something! They have their Target debit card thats just linked to your actual check card, if you use that they give you 5% off every purchase and free online shipping. They actually have a clean family bathroom!! Store is very clean and organized too read more

I went into Target today and asked at the service desk if they price matched because I wanted to buy an iPad. He gave me a weird convoluted answer which I asked if that translated into if it's a local ad for a local retailer and he said yes we do and the folks in electronic would take care of that for me. Great. I wanted to pick up an iPad Mini at the current price of the local Staple's store. I went to the electronics area and said I wanted to buy an iPad mini and price match to the local Staples circular. I get a more lengthy convoluted answer and I explained no I don't have a flier in my pocket but I have an electronic version which states the iPad Mini is on sale in store only at XYZ location and not online. He went on about a circular and it not being an online purchase. I explained I could show it to him on my phone and it's not an online offer. He seemed to not understand you can view a store only circular online. The last I checked it was 2014 and you can read ANYTHING online which is why magazines and newspapers are going out of business but I digress. I explained it was a local circular that could be *viewed* online and he said that the service desk could take care of that for me which, ironically, is what the service desk told me when they sent me to electronics. So I told him to forget it, that I'd shop elsewhere and he was very happy to say "okay" and wander off. I'm sure the owners of the store would like to know why they aren't selling more merchandise and that my friends is why. I actually went here because it's local to where I live and I wanted to keep some business in the Four Points area but whatever. Off I go to Best Buy who I know will price match :-) I'm sure they will be happy to take my money. read more
