Worst Target Experience ever. In fact thanks to this & the overall Target Corporation (tm)'s handling of a return I boycotted one of my favorite chains for nearly two years, only recently have I begun buying here again but I guess I'm going to stop shopping here again, EVER. In September of 2008, I bought a prepaid cellphone here. Target did not process the sale correctly and when I tried to activate it the manufacturer thought acquired it illegally (aka stole). I returned to my nearest Target (as I live in L.A.) and explained the situation they looked up the Transaction with my receipt ID and said I had to go to Carson to fix it. What? surely not, thought I, mayhaps the sales lady was having a bad day and passed the buck. I went to the one further down the street on Sepulveda to a different store and again about an hour's wait for some mealy mouthed "not my problem" about 6 days later 9/7/08 I returned all the freaking way to Carson from West L.A. to deal with an acknowledgment that the cashier screwed up, but that their computers were down and they could not get access to process a reimbursement so could I be a sport and they would call me at home. I called target's (no)customer support line about 3 times up to October, whence I gave up. Forward to today. I'm unpacking a storage box and lo and behold the receipts documents, and product is here neatly tucked away. I say what the hell surely the store with a heart will make it all better. After an hour and a half, innumerable frustration, and calling corporate in Minneapolis I get their official "90 day" policy which is behind the receipt I hold in my hand. In this entire quest I have learned the following: * Target hires more "Jeffrey";s than I have met in entire my life, or they read from the "script" verbatim. C'mon mix it up guys, what no Malik's? * No one seems to have kept an eye on how many unprocessed or stalled small returns arestalled out of the "policy Returns period" by corporations. I am sure this equals hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen in "lemon" purchases under $50 from an unsuspecting public that forgoes the aggravation in return for a small monetary loss. * BBB and consumer affairs complaints really don't worry huge Corporations *American business ethics & common decency to customers is dead and long buried. Target likes to dance on it's grave. * I advise that no one drop more than they can afford to lose on a single item in case of a highly likely worst case scenario. Just google "Target complaints" to see if I jest. * I used to drop $200-$300 a month at Target (pet, home, auto, clothes, health, beauty, etc). I hate this Target. Most of the employees are rude and misinformed. I always get different answers. I put something on hold last night and the employee that night said she will hold it until the next night. I called today to make sure it was okay for my husband to pick it up instead of me and an extremely rude supervisor named Ana said she put the items back last night! That they only hold items till the end of the night. Why the hell did the other employee said she was going to hold it until the next day? Ana didn't have to answer me so horribly either. There is alot of mixed reviews of this target so i had to see for myself. I checked everything lol like a dam saftey inspector hahaha. Restrooms were ok not the cleanest i seen they could get an extra person to check or check in kore frequently. The dressing rooms while i was there were clean.. not bad the toy department maybe needed a bit of help but nothing crazy.. so then i tried the customer service. There was a target employee just got off and started shooping. So i went to her knowing there was a on the clock person 3 feet away lol... i asked me:would you mind helping me. Her: but of course how can i help you. Me: can you check if item in stock. Her: let me use my phone to check. Me:ok Her: there is im actually of the clock right now so give me a min to get an associate. Me:ok Her:found someone and there going to back to get item. Very disappointed. Once again tried to take my mom shopping and couldn't do it. Unfortunately she needs a cart to get around the store and none of the 4 motorized carts the store provides were operable. I realize these are provided as a courtesy but some people can't afford to purchase there own and rely on these to get shopping done. I've been coming to this Target since I was a child. I miss how it was prior to the underground parking but can't complain especially with Starbucks inside! Actually the underground parking isn't shabby at all considering I have a toddler and all; it's convenient to park underground in rainy days, hot days & at night when coming with my child. The store is well organized & I know where everything is at but whenever in need of finding something in particular there's always friendly staff eager to help me find what I'm looking for. Ordered on line for pick-up. Store employees managed to pick the only box that was squashed. Would any reasonable person pick a kids toy in a smashed box unless it was the only one left? The employee at the Order Pick Up counter apologized and said that damaged items are very common at order pick up. Her words were, "happens all the time." Why does it happen all the time? It shouldn't happen at all. If it happened every once in a while, it might be acceptable. Amazon Prime is the Gold Standard, everyone else is trying to catch up (and apparently can't get their employees to meet industry standards.) By the way - there were plenty of undamaged boxed toys when I bothered to look for myself and I picked a nice one for the little guy's birthday. read more

I loveee Target. This particular Target has an awesome selection of clothes (well for women anyways, IDK how the other sections are) and a really good selection of $1 bins at the front. There's all sorts of holiday themed cute trinkets for just $1. Stuff like wrapping paper, notepads, notebooks, arts & crafts stuff, mini posters, etc. I always check out that section when I go. Where this Target is lacking though, is in customer service. Their employees aren't hat helpful and their check-out lines are atrocious. Seriously, they only ever have like two cashiers open and a line of 10+ people backed up per lane. It's ridiculous. Definitely do not come here if you are planning to only purchase one thing. You'll end up waiting at least 20+ minutes. read more

the parking is huge, you should not have problems finding parking at all. the food is incredible as well, yummy!!! sometimes they put specials on food, drinks, or even makeup so you must take advantage because their products are great. the clothes are in really good quality and its not as expensive as other stores. read more

I was very disappointed to see that almost half of the shelves at the store were empty. Apparently they're adding a bigger grocery dept which I think is stupid. Now there will be less selection of non-grocery items!!! While I was wandering around looking for something that seemed to not be there and employee walked by and said "Can I help you with something?" I told him what I was looking for and said it doesn't appear to be here anymore. And he just said "oh yeah" and kept walking. I stood there with my mouth open, I couldn't believe he just walked away!! 6/01/19 I was looking for a purple conditioner for my hair and the Target App said it was in stock for their 2 hr Pick-Up at this target. So I looked through the aisle and there wasn't any on the shelf where it was suppose to be, so I still looked around just to see if there was one that was placed else where in that aisle and no luck. So I looked for an employee and asked if they would have the product and had already told the female employee there weren't any on the shelf in the aisle. And she started to walk towards the aisle and said "that there should be a shipment tomorrow or Monday". I know how these devices work to show inventory, granted working for Target. Yes, I could have gotten it through the Target App, but I was already at target. So I followed her and she scanned the barcode. Then called on her walkie to "backroom" if they "copy" and no answer. Then called for an employee and no answer. Then said no they don't have it. Why would the Target App let me buy the item for 2 Hour PickUp if they didn't have any at the store?! Because this female employee was LAAAAAZZZZY! I wish I could have gotten her name but she was not wearing a name tag. If i didn't have to leave in a rush because i had a fussy baby with me, maybe next time I need help I'll ask another employee willing to help. read more

They wanted my husband to go find it at other targets. My husband talked to the manager who lectured my husband and said he was doing my husband a favor by letting him pick an equivalent movie. I bought an apple(was turning brown on inside) looked good on the outside. The pomegranate(was black and rotten when i cut it open) looked good on outside and a caesar salad( was brown) in the bag. I've read most the reviews and i gotta agree with most of you, I love the underground and outdoor parking!!!! Good job Target. The best part is that they actually have an elavator and escalator that takes you to and from the undergrou. When my lazy butt aight in no mood to talk thrugh traffic from the outside parking i make sure to take the elavator and escalators when convinient. I love how everything is arranged here. From groceries to your apparel you can find everything so easily. Prices are always i deal. huge parking lot did i mention that already. oh yeah i did. I gotta say i like that little dollar section they have in front of the enterance. I lotta say im a sucker everytime. I dont even know why im programmed to head there first but im always finding little knick knacks for the gifts, the home, kids ect ( great stuffer for kids bdays). read more

I had purchase a basketball court for my grandson and all the pieces was not in the box, so did not get a chance to return it .I had my son return the item and when he had went to the store they had no more basketball courts they had ran out so he could not exchange the item at all because he had no receipt. So they would not let my son exchange it unless he had a receipt. So I was out of town and returned the item with the receipt when I got home and i had went to Target to customer service and they would not return the item because it was over 90 days they would not give me a gift card no credit or anything, i had purchased the item 04/26/2017 and it had expired 07/26/2017. Got a cool $4 pumpkin mat for next year but the manager on duty was rude and seemed to be bothered when I asked her about this beer being 70% off. I showed her a picture I took where there were several pumpkin flavored beers with a big 70% off sign.
